Nice but could be better. The overall game is pleasing, fun and just in genaral a good VR game to play. However there is a couple of bugs that need attention to. The first bug is when you don't have VR controllers. Your chatacter floats in the air and I think it would be better if they sat in the seat with their hands by their sides. Another bug that needs fixing is when you are in RACE mode, I think it would be optimal to keep all the animals and people in E.G In the dinosour rollercoaster, You should still be able to see the dinosours whilst you controll the coaster. Following on from the RACE game mode, it wouldbe a good idea to add hands that control said coaster. In NORMAL game mode, please may you make the camera or sceen shake to add that taste of realism?
Wrapped up, but altogether a solid 4/5 stars. Regards-PMERACING the reveiwer.
Good Roller Coasters but no rumble. The Rift store version has no haptic feedback in the Touch controllers when the Quest 2 version and the Steam VR version do. I want to buy the dlc on here because of cross-buy but I want my Rift version to have haptic feedback for more immersion like the other versions thanks very much.
Update... How can i buy the add on tracks for this game? I get payment failure message everytime...I trid other one credit card, but nothing changed...
Surprisingly Fun! I didn't have high expectations since this game was available free to play with in-game purchases. It is surprisingly good! It had more detail than I expected with multiple modes including a shooter and race mode. I also find the different coaster themes to be really fun.
I haven't tried it yet, but you can ride with friends in multiplayer. I will be checking that out soon! I especially love that I can ride with up to 3 friends instead of just 1.
The addition of NPC passengers is also pretty cool, although some of them talk wayyy too much and become annoying (ya, I'm looking at you Santa). But it is a nice touch and I like having the option.
I also haven't looked too much into it yet, but I would like to turn the music down or off on some of the coasters (it got a little overpowering and sometimes you just want to ride without music). But that may be an option I just haven't found yet.
Some of the coasters are better than others, but overall it was a good enough experience for me that I decided to buy additional rides. I think it's worth the free download even if you don't intend on buying anything.
Nothing is working. At first it didn't want to start in my VR headset, I only got it to play on my desktop. After trying ten times and rebooting the pc it works, but now the controllers don't work. The arrow is controlled by your headset, so you can't actually select anything. I got worried, so I tried other games in Oculus store, but they work just fine. It's just this one that's being weird. A shame, because it looked like a cool game.
Great on both PC (via AirLink) and Q2. I was gladly surprised this is cross buy, including DLCs. At first I played this game natively and I liked it mainly to show to new VR users, but the experience was even better on the PC because of the improved graphics.
I was getting a lot of lags and was unable to use the controller when playing via Virtual Desktop. To solve it I had to run it via AirLink, making sure Oculus is the default OpenXR runtime and SteamVR is closed.
Does not work !! Does not load in VR - once loaded defaults to desktop mode and is unusable. VR interface is only visible for a fractionof a second then goes to blackscreen with loading hour glass icon only. Desk top screen is visible on PC monitor but no interface is available. Shows that the game has logged into my account.
