wonderful, epic, majestic. Wonderful, epic, majestic title, a joy for all fans of the Warhammer 40K universe and an opportunity for those who do not know this world to discover it. A step forward compared to the quest2 version that did not allow you to fully enjoy its potential. The story narrated is very well written and dubbed beautifully, the music and sound effects excellent and the technical sector is of excellent workmanship. The only flaw is the lack of subtitles in Italian, fans deserve it.
Fantastic VR experience! Great selection of weapons, cool abilities, plenty of ammo, a checkpoint save system with plenty of different enemies make this a great game to keep coming back to. Do yourself a favor, get this and don’t miss this title!
Instant Classic. This is the kind of experience that makes VR what it is today. All we need now is the devs to make a co-op spiritual successor and we'll be flying high.
One Complaint and One Suggestion. Let me start off by saying this game is amazing and is absolutely worth it. Now that that's out of the way, let's hear that complaint.
The sound of the bolter is great but it doesn't feel as impactful as I think it should be. I have the volume all the way up and yet it still sounds slightly puny. Might just be my ears though.
Now for the suggestion: Please please pleaseeee give us a Warhammer Fantasy game. We have Tempestfall in Age of Sigmar and Battlesister in 40000, now it's time for Fantasy! I'd love to have multiple campaigns where you can play as the different races, (although that may be hard to accomplish with how little fundingthere is in VR right now), and play through the game with that races specific faction. Although I'd love that Idea, I do understand the limitations and thus one campaign as one race is fine with me, as long as we get the game.
Again I loved the game and I can't wait to see more!
Please fix multiplayer! This game is amazing! The only downside imo is that multiplayer doesn’t work? That or the devs turned the server off? :( still a great single player game nonetheless!

Vr Warhammer World. Warhammer 40K: Battle Sister is the first VR Warhammer game. You are dropped into the immersive futuristic world of war, in stunning VR. The game is a rich story driven FPS action adventure game. Its a shooter, it has melee combat, and dual wielding.
You are one of the Battle Sisters, warriors of the future. You will fight of hordes of enemies, and giant epic bosses. The gun mechanics feel great. Aiming and gun control are very nice, and it use a quick reload system to keep you in the fast paced battles. The melee combat is equally as good. You actually make contact with the enemy and can push them with your sword. The swinging feel great and impact feels really. No pool noodle combat here.
Moving around the world is great as well, with smooth locomotion and smooth turning and the option to use teleport and snap turning, everyone can find their comfort level of play. One thing I did not like is we can not jump over low objects, but the enemies can. A tipped over shelf should not stop a strong warrior from moving on. Also room scaling would of added to the game.
The world looks amazing and gives you a feel of a dark world in the time of war. There are a few objects that are scaled way to big, and break the immersion sometimes. Over all though its a great VR world.
The story kept me moving forward and each new level was unique in its design, keeping the environments feeling fresh. The game has a surprising large amount of gore in it, heads will roll, limbs blown off and blood spilling everywhere.
Overall I found this to be a great single player game, and will keep me playing to finish the campaign. The game also feature co-op multiplayer in a Horde Mode. So you have two styles of gameplay. I think Warhammer fans will love this, and anyone looking for a good length FPS story driven game.

Not sure what the negative complaints. I've owned an Oculus since 2020. I've played several games on the Q1 and now I have a Q2 and a gaming laptop to play PCVR games. Of course, for my first PCVR game, I had to get the famous Half Life Alyx. The game really got me excited to play VR again and after playing it was hard to come back to my Quest games. I tried buying games and playing but quickly got bored and returned them. When there was the weekly deal or whatever. I saw that Battle Sister was one of them. I'm in a few Oculus groups on FB and as long as I've been in them no one has ever talked about this game. I am not sure why. I never played Warhammer or anything like that. And I've been impressed. To be honest, I thought the graphics were pretty awesome. I can't wait to see them using my PC. The gameplay is just enough to keep me entertained. I'm only on Chapter 4, but I like the new weapons and power ups. I'm enjoying myself and the battle fights. This is one of the best games I've played in a long time. It's no Half Life Alyx or Walking Dead but for what it is and as mentioned never played Warhammer it really is a good game. I haven't played horde mode yet. I look forward to it. My only wish is that that game adds a co-op campaign. And even adding 4 person horde mode. Please, continue to update this game. Please.
plus one more star compared to quest2. If you have played Lone Echo or HL Alyx games like Batlesisters are only a huge disapointment.... even the PC Version of Battlesisters is not worth the money. It´s seems like with such games VR is like playing PS2 experience in 2021. Unfurtunately not recommended from side. Update 2022: since the last update my savegame disapeared. So minus 1 star. Do not buy this game!

This game....a bit dissapointing. Battle sister while you see the attention and love that has gone into the game, this game suffers from the same problem that most quest 1/2 games suffer from. And the problem is that the quest 2 is just a gloryfied phone. And its unfit to play any form of game that even looks in the direction of a 15 or less, years old pc game.
For a quest game its ok, but is it a good game in general? Wel lets say i compare this to, half life 2, more than 15 (18?)years old, its just sad. Compare it to a questzdoom game (sidequest) on the quest 2, and its sad again. I dont blame the creators, it think the problem lies with the Unity engine itself beeing a bad game engine for android vr, and or the creators maybe wanting to much, thinking graphics/bling/effects/ray tracing whatever are king, wel if i saw this game but then in a engine like that of brutal doom"2" or even the quake or return to castle wolfestein engine i think it had far better options, better gameplay, better graphics, better everything. Yes it would be limited in many ways, but if its fits the hardware, would it be limited? Ill gave this 3 stars for trying, but if i compare it to the fun i had in other games like brutal wolfestein3d, or even return to castle wolfestein. (quest sidequest) its actualy 1 star to many.
PCVR yes, Quest 2 no. On the Quest 2 this thing runs like trash. It feels janky, and looks fairly sub-par. Half the time the guns don't even make noise or seem to shoot. But the heretics explode into bits regardless.
On PCVR with the link it runs a lot better, but suffers from the same jank owing to the engine.
Fun Game. Fun, satisfying combat with a couple quirks, bugs, and design decisions that can make it a little frustrating at times. Visuals on PC are good for the most part, audio design is decent, and the voice acting is top notch. Guns feel good to shoot, faith abilities are fun when they work properly, and movement is fluid. Environment interactions are okay, and I like the QoL features for item pickups and ammo management. The story is standard fare 40k nonsense and isn't going to win any awards, but it should be enough to keep your attention.

Right direction for WH40K VR. I was a bit hesitant to get this as Warhammer games are often hit or miss. However, I was not at all disappointed. The graphics are well enough but more importantly the gameplay is fantastic. It was something to really put yourself into the 40K universe, especially as one of the awesome Sisters of Battle. Would easily recommend this VR experience to any WH fans and to anyone looking for a good shooter in general. I really hope we see more WH games like this on VR in the future. I would be pretty excited for one as a member of the Imperial Guard
6-7 hrs of fun, looks better on PC. 6-7 hour fun singleplayer shooter First off, I'm not a fan of 40K Warhammer, I bought this to play as a singleplayer VR shooter; so no 40K WH bias here. But as a whole, this is a pretty decent game. Looks great on the Quest2, looks even better on Link/AirLink (Rift) [yes, this is a Crossbuy title].
Overall, if you're looking for a FUN, lighthearted shooter (this is NOT a milsim, so those players plz move along), that features a mix of hoard/wave shooting, unique boss fights, and getting engrossed in the detailed game environments, then this is a game for you. Very much recommend, especially for those looking for a fun/arcadey shooter.
Excellent fun, especially for 40k fans. If you're a 40k fan, chances are you've seen enough of games that cast you as space marines, so playing as a member of a different faction for once is a refreshing change. The story mode is fun, and although the majority of enemies will be chaos cultists, demons of Khorne, and Word Bearer marines - I'd possibly question whether a Celestian should be able to kill chaos marines so easily but I can let that slide because it's a game - there are one or two surprises which I will not spoil. The weapons feel more or less as you'd expect them to, and feel good to operate; I personally would have let the player have some time with the chainsword before handing them the power sword, because as it is, the chainsword isn't worth using by the time you find it, other than for the fun factor of seeing how it works. I also feel like the lasgun and storm bolter rounds should move faster than they do, but this is minor. Horde mode is even more fun, but very unforgiving (it takes a few goes to last more than a few waves - but then it'd be no fun if it was too easy!) I haven't tried it online yet as there are apparently still some issues, but I'm sure these will be ironed out eventually, and I look forward to teaming up with people and fighting the enemies of humanity together. Actually being able to put yourself into a 40k battlefield is great, and killing a chaos marine with the power sword is very satisying. The environments are impressive and all look very 40k, and the use of a space marine chapter that isn't the same old done-to-death Ultramarines suggests that the writers have quite a bit of knowledge of the 40k universe... in short, I love this game, and it made me want to explore the Adepta Sororitas in greater detail (I've always been an Eldar player but now a new army may or may not be on the cards... ;) ).
