Awesome game! Really liked all the different spy-movie stuff they included, like interrogating, using parkour, fighting with guns... Inventory is very easy to use, as are the items. Unfortunately the game was way too dark and switching to scan/drone mode sometimes took forever to "find the right code"...
Enjoyable. Other recent reviews made me worry so i made sure to test this ASAP in case it wouldn't run and i had to refund it, but it runs fine on my 10750/2070 laptop and 11700 /3080 desktop.
It's a fun choose-your-own adventure with good implementation of most of it's mechanics.
A bit London Heist/Blood&Truth without being a dirty crime lord.
Sad that the game is unplayable. Crashes the moment i attempt to load in everytime and i can see that others have had this issue too. Its quite a fun unique game that i always enjoyed playing so its sad to see that so many people including myself have issues with it.
it doesnt even launch. the review is that it doesnt launch as the title states and im guessing the developers likely desserted the game quite some time ago which is a shame it looked like a good game
The Names Macklin..Burt Macklin. THis is a game that makes you feel like a Spy it does what it dets out to do and immerses you in this World I highly Recommend it!
Solution for game closing after 3 second. For any that are having issues with this game because it doesn't launch, read the solution down below.
The reason why it didn't work for me was because the GPU was used up at 100% upon launching. Using virtual desktop, I was able to open up the game, but it was laggy but it allowed me to troubleshoot and find out that Defector opens up using the motherboard GPU instead of my RTX2060 GPU.
I followed these steps to for Defector (DFCTR.exe) to use my main graphic card instead:
Open the Settings app and go to the System group of settings. Select the Display tab and scroll down. Click the ‘Graphic Settings‘ option. On the Graphics Settings screen, open the ‘Choose an app to set preference‘ dropdown. Select the type of app you want to set the GPU use for; Classic app for desktop apps, and Universal app for UWP or Store apps. Once selected, click the Browse button and select the app (DFCTR.exe). Click the ‘Options‘ button under the app once it has been added. Force DFCTR.exe to use your main graphic card instead. Afterward, you will be able to load the game.
***I'm rating this game as one star cause Twisted Pixel belongs to Meta and I feel they could continue to support and update their game even if they stopped making pcvr games.
WONT PLAY! Will not play no matter whatever I do...I played it about a year ago but now it wont play, I reset my headset, the Oculus app my PC even uninstall and reinstall still doesnt work😣😌😕😰And I'm using thre same setup.

Defector. I was really really want to play this game but it doesn't let me play I want my $21 back
Won’t play. Purchased this game played part of it then left it for a while now come to play again & it won’t load click button to play & goes straight back to the game screen where you click to play ?????? What’s happening to the game is this a glitch ad it is a great game & want to be able to play it again can you sort this out ????
best game. This game was amazing, it had cool action scenes and great hand to hand combat scenes, also the story was great I felt like I was in mission impossible.
