　歴史的、考古学的、聖書学的に有名な遺跡の数々を訪ねながら、イスラエル全土を巡りましょう。

　その後、エッセネ派とは何者なのか、なぜ彼らは新約聖書の共同体のようでありながら、そうなれなかったのかについて簡単にお話ししま‏す‎。
　マサダ-死海沿いの山の上にある、ヘロデ王の贅沢なリゾートの隠れ家を調べま‏す‎。
　山頂を占拠し‏、‎3年間そこに住んでいた約1000人のユダヤ人の自殺によって、ローマ軍がどのように虐殺を拒否したかを論じる。
　死海-現在起きている生態系災害と、死海をさらなる縮小から救うためのヨルダン＆エジプトとの取り組みについて話し合う。
　ナザレ-荒野の誘惑から帰還したイシュアが‏、‎宣教を開始するために最初に行ったイザヤ書60章の「ミドラシュ（説教）」について考察する。

Engedi - where David hid from Saul’s armies and where he wrote many of the Psalms

Qumran - Your VR Tour Guide is renowned archeologist, Roni Netzer, who worked on the Dead Sea Scrolls excavations. We discuss why there are Scrolls. Then a brief talk about who the Essenes are, and why they are like a New Testament community but could not be.

Masada - we examine King Herod’s lavish resort hideaway on top of a mountain beside the Dead Sea. We discuss how the Romans were denied a slaughter by the suicide of almost a thousand Jews who had taken over the top and lived there for three years.

Dead Sea - we discuss the ecological disaster currently happening and the efforts to work with Jordan & Egypt to save the Dead Sea from further shrinkage

Nazareth - we discuss Yeshua’s first “midrash” (preaching) of Isaiah 60 to begin His ministry after returning from the wilderness temptation. Why did his message make them so angry? We go to Mt. Precipice, the cliff outside of Nazareth village, to see how far that drop is and get a look from the Valley of Jezreel towards the nine hour walk to Capernaum.
