Best Snooker game ever! This is a fantastic game and so realistic. It takes a little bit of time to get the hang of the controls bit it's a realistic sim so that's understandable and it's very rewarding once you learn how to play.I love Miracle Pool and really enjoyed the Snooker game on that but it doesn't implement the proper rules but this game does.I haven't played online yet as I'm not good enough and feel if I met someone my own standard it would take hours to complet a frame! It would be amazing if you guys could add a bot to play against in practice, I'd happily pay for that update. Also it would be good if you could choose to adjust the brightness of the green table as I find the contrast between the green and red quite harsh on the eyes after concentrating hard on long shots etc for a long time. One last thing, you have to change the control scheme or at least give people the choice before starting the tutorial. Pressing left to move the table right and up to move the table and then trying to do diagonals that way down made it by far the most frustrating tutorial I've ever done. It's a good job you can change it once you get out of the tutorial and you must have known people wouldn't like it as you tell people at the start of the tutorial they can change it later. Who thought that was a good idea?Despite that I'm still giving it 5 stars as once I get good on it I have a feeling it will be my favourite game, it's just so realistic and the physics are incredible.
Super but…. 30 minutes to get thru tutorial was nearly enough to ask for a refund, it needs a bypass option as it wouldn’t let me hit a ball in one screen & I had to keep starting over till it fixed itselfActual game is greatMaybe add a YouTube screen or something for the ones who want to watch music videos etc, the locomotion could be easier as I had a hard time getting the table in position for some shots. All in all very good Edit* I managed to put my hand anywhere on the table, don’t ask me how , is it a cheat mode? Idk it’s not a setting I could find in the optionsEdit* it would be great to have a arcade option where u can put your hand anywhere on the table unlike sim mode edit* be good to have a discord for a wish list/improvements but as we haven’t I’ll say it here, we need a practice setting for different ball lineups so we don’t need to move every ball every time in a line, a top down screen to plan your next shot & maybe some nice environments. Anything else I can think of I’ll leave it here hopefully to be read by the makers
Just updated my review from 2 stars to 4. Just tried this, and all I can say is it looks great, the scale is spot on but the mechanics are terrible, moving around the table is so labored and so time consuming it takes away from what could be a great game, the aiming with your bridge hand is really bad, irl life the bridge hand is used primarily to steady the cue all the aiming is done with the back hand so when playing this game it's really hard to aim with the bridge hand I found I was all over the place with it, it really is such a pity as this could have been amazing, but I'll keep the game in the hope that they (the devs) sort it out, so I'm afraid it's a two stars but it they sort out the aiming it probably be a five 👍I've just had to update my review from 2 stars to 4 stars, after the Devs latest patch the game is so so much improved, fully deserves 4 stars maybe even more, there are a couple of things I'd like to see altered like the side/english power but all in all a brilliant snooker sim now, very well done Devs 💯👍
Snooker at its best. Snooker games are very rare in vr, But this game proves it can be done and this game is absolutely outstanding. From the size of the table to the physics and sounds, This is as good as playing the real thing. 2 things are needed, When the ball is near a cushion it's difficult to get your hand to go where you want it to, And there is no AI game mode available. But everything else is perfect, A must buy game.
Peter A. I am a regular snooker player, I have had the Oculus 2 for some time always hopping a good snooker game would come along at some point. So I was very pleased to see this game launched, It looks amazing but it seems impossible to actually play, having tried for a couple hours to get a grip on the cue I could not get the hang of it. So I am not sure what the problem is Maybe it's not ideal for the Oculus 2. I can only give it a 1 star for now I will persevere a while longer and review again.
Perfect. I’m genuinely impressed. The gameplay is excellent — smooth, immersive, and surprisingly realistic, right down to the angle you hold the cue.It takes a little time to get fully used to the controls, but once you do, it feels incredibly natural. The graphics are almost top-notch for a quest game, and the snap turning works well, though there’s still a bit of room for refinement in future updates. What really stood out to me was discovering features I initially thought were missing, only to find out they were actually there all along. That kind of depth and attention to detail really impressed me.For a first release, this game is remarkably polished. It already delivers a strong experience and clearly has huge potential as it continues to evolve. Highly recommended for any snooker fan or VR sports enthusiast.
