Prisms is a new world spatial learning platform that enables learners to grasp abstract math concepts in a delightful, meaningful, and efficacious way. In Prisms’ learning modules, students gain a deeper understanding of important (and fun!) problems in our world today, while accelerating proficiencies in core concepts across Middle School Math, Geometry, and Algebra I/II courses. Your students will never ask the question again: how is math applicable to my life?
Unable to use. I have two headsets under the same meta account. One for my daughter and for myself. I purchased the subscription on one. I am unable to buy a new subscription on another, nor I am able to continue without. I wanted to create a multi-player session to help if needed.
could be simpler and more efficient. I really like this app, but sometimes I feel like there is too much talking before getting to the math part. The truth is that, given a choice, my kids would play on their Nintendo rather than spend an hour on this app. The only way they'll do any real work and won't give up when the game part ends and the math part begins is if I supervise them, and I don't have time to listen to a lengthy story about a farmer and his flies, then start all over again with the other kid. Either we play, or we study. Either we eat broccoli or we eat chocolate. The chocolate-covered broccoli edutainment approach ends being painful for all parties involved. What I liked the best is the manipulation of terms from one side on an equation to the other and the manipulation of graphed functions. This kind of VR simulation of mental operations is really helpful, kids found it intuitive, and I would have liked to see a bunch of drills to help kids master mathematical skills. We do the drills, master the math, and 30 min later everybody is free to go. Finally, I don't like the subscription model, although it's not that expensive. I'd rather buy the modules I need.
Education as it should be. Amazing! The days of giving someone a VR headset and have them learn any topic in the coolest possible classroom in the world are here, starting with 8-12 grade Math. Each lesson has been beautifully built up by starting with a real-life problem (why do I need this? Something that's often missing in the "real school") and then learning the topic in small manageable peaces, with lots of interaction. There are 21 modules at launch, plus a few multiplayer spaces. It's $24 for an annual subscription, with free content and further improvements surely coming. Great job, I can't wait for more, and will recommend it excitedly to everyone learning Math! 👏

I am not able to use it. I subscribed but I cannot use the game. I wish I could get a refund.
Math like I always wanted it to be! My kiddo learns viscerally - while she is good at math - Prisms VR gave her an understanding that stuck, deepening her knowledge and giving her the confidence to tackle Algebra II.
I cannot recommend Prisms enough. Also, now I don't feel guilty about buying that VR headset. It's getting used for more than Beat Saber. #education #educationforthewin
Wow! Math comes alive! As a community college librarian who utilizes VR with faculty and students, I've been searching for a math app to make that connection with instructors. I'd spoken with someone with Prisms in the fall of 2022 about content that may be coming in early 2023 -- I'm so excited the app has launched!
I've only completed the Fractions section(s) thus far, but I am amazed at how interactive, functional, and concrete the sections were. I've already reached out to my math faculty asking them to stop by and try the different sections since they are the content experts -- I really see this as a game changer for math education.
If I get instructor feedback that changes my rating I'll update my review, but after trying Pandemic (Exponential Functions) in the App Lab and Fractions in the full app, I can't imagine the other sections will be anything short of excellent.
Please keep making more educational content like this!

Great first start at Math in VR. It's exciting to see a math game in VR that is fully experiential and allows you to see practical use cases for complex math upfront. I jumped to advanced algebra and got to travel underwater to determine how to create an optimized underwater cabling system for transmitting data. I can't say I did that in school!
Overall, I think the application has a lot of potential to grow, and this is just the beginning. I hope the developers, over time, continue to refine the overall user experience starting with teleportation. I would love to see a laser pointer for selecting or pressing buttons versus always having to teleport and physically push my hand in certain instances. I also think implementing a gamification/rewards system would greatly incentivize players to keep going on their math journey.
Studied math at university but no clue. ... how to play and what to do at Basic algebra. There are 2 options: I am a total idiot or people who created game mechanic are autistic.
One of the best ways to learn Math! As a former Physics teacher I really could have used this with my students! Vectors are a very difficult topic and difficult to teach in a "traditional" manner. Prisms changes that completely! You are immersed in a VR world and presented with a practical application to using vectors. Then being able to interact with the graph, the guidance by an "instructor", the ability to use a virtual calculator... after 5 minutes you forget you are sitting in your living room!! I cannot wait to try the other advanced modules. I will also get this for my grandaughters... they will learn Algebra before entering the 8th grade!! AWESOME!!

A slope to growth! I had a chance to work with the algebra > linear functions simulation which brought immersion, interactivity, and a quiet space to think things through. The simulation complimented Module 4, Lesson 2 & 3 of the McGraw-HIll Reveal Integrated Math 1 curriculum.
Breath of Fresh Air. Learning Math in VR seems daunting at first just coz it’s math but it’s easier to understand the lessons since it is tied to real world applications, and not just looking at numbers in a piece of paper. I can definitely see how this can be adapted in a classroom setting and beyond. Wish I had this when I was in middle school, high school.
Though the 3D models and textures could be further improved. The topics were well communicated visually.
In-app purchase not working. If you do not accept payment cards that Meta accepts (and that works fine in store) add another payment method or repair in-app purchase system to accept secure payments.
Not really free. We need an option for zero stars. The description said free, so I figured I'd give it a try. In-app purchase isn't supposed to mean the app doesn't do anything other than prompting to start a subscription. It doesn't even have a playable demo. Now I'm stuck with another unwanted title in my library. I deleted this app immediately after launching it for the first time.
No trial, total paywall. Please give people an opportunity to try the app before subscribing. Meta has a wonderful trial system. This shows that you don’t have confidence that people will subscribe or purcahse after trying. Dark UX tactic on full display here.
Math for Understanding not Memorization! I’m so excited to be using Prisms with our local school districts! Finally students can leverage technology to experience best teaching practices in math - learning with real world problems in a spatial & visual way. The scaffolding for students to transfer knowledge from concrete to abstract is hard to find with any other math program. I’ve yet to come across a math teacher who hasn’t been thrilled after trying out one of the Prisms modules, not mention how engaging it is for students to use VR to learn foundational math concepts! Love it!!!

disappoint. It can only be accessed after payment, a disappointment. I prefer to pay for the application
False and misleading advertising. Those 3 5 stars review are fakers they must be family to the developers or close friends because i dont see any one wanting to pay a monthly charge for this app, Yall developers are slimey people, yall advertice the game for free, so I download it into my library and come to find out that all that is free is a download to get to the subscription page, not even 1 mathematical equation to solve before getting hit with a subscription charge, Yall do know this is illigal, I mean false and misleading means yall made think it was free so I download it only to find out i have to pay so I was mislead , am I right here ? Now since I Uninstalled ur game I'm still stuck with it in my library so now it's causing me unimaginable stress to see it there knowing I was scamed into downloading and it's not like the others that I have actually played and not liked. no , this one I never got the chance to play it , I'm gonna speak with a lawyer because this should not happen on this platform if ur advertising it for free it should be free not have end up paying monthly for that it should have Said it on the download menu , this is not right at all ,
