Amazing fun game. Amazing fun game A very original use for VR. There is nothing else quite like it. Fun for kids and adults alike. The only thing that could make it better is to add passthrough mode when playing in a diorama.
Need improvement to be 5 stars for all. Listen to me. this is MUST improvement. to be THE MOST SELLING game
this game has POTENTIAL.
1. locomotion on menu - just add teleport. please stick to market standard when it comes to locomotion. idea is good but it is just annoying. add teleport and abandon current locomotion.
2. Realtime scale adjustment just like demeo and bam. - adjust scale only on menu is not clever. if want to keep this method just add “lock scale option” with realtime scale adjustment.
3. add endless roguelike mode and this need to be main mode not the story mode. it is very important that how you have the people actually feel about play time. as long as story mode is main, people will think the contents and playtime is not enough for the price. BUT, if roguelike mode is MAIN, people will think the game has infinite playtime and many contents. and the game is well designed for roguelike. I think it is really easy to add. be clever.
4. remove pulling trigger when select menu. this is joke. if you worry about mis-touch or something like that just adjust depth of touch with haptic feedback.
5. add mixed reality mode. and this will make your game +2 times more popular. I swear. this is the game for MR. this will be one of the best MR supported game. because game design is just perfect for MR. trust me.
if you improve these 5 things as soon as possible, crumbling will be one of the most popular game in META Store. I know it is not that easy but It is not that difficult too.
just do what you MUST do ASAP before other good games come out. be clever and act quickly.
and you will grab money. some times be quick is more important than quality as long as game is playable without BIG problem. small bugs are okay for a while.
sorry for being rude but, I am sure that this will help you.
Thanks
* I know there are arrows l, but it is not the best as long as player should approach to the arrows to move to another side. please delete unnascessary actions. it is okay if you really want to stick to that method. but you should turn off adjustment of play place which is turned on by default. grab button is very easy push by mistake. it is not cool at all. updated stars but before fix these, it is still not 5stars in my mind.
VR Uniqueness. This is a very unique idea and could only work in VR. It may not be your style game but it is a must try. I love when Developers go wild with creative ideas. Some hit and a lot miss the mark. Even if this is not for you it is good for VR to allow this expressive thinking and design. Great job Devs and never let industry standards cloud your artistic style.👍👍👍👏👏👍👍👍
Comics and Amiibo Come to Life. Crumbling is like no other game I have played; a game that would never be possible outside of VR, a game that seamlessly integrates you into its world as both puppet and puppeteer. For those of you old enough to remember when we actually “opened our toys and played with them” rather than just collecting them, you will instantly fall in love with the charming atmosphere the Crumbles hobby and craft store offers the moment you step in. And once you start playing this delightful rogue-like action game, you might just start having flashbacks to those days of smashing your own action figures together in simulated combat.
Pretty cool. I’ve only finished the tutorial and first level, but I’m digging it so far. The graphics/environments are top notch, really well done. Very crisp. I’ll update the review with more details after I put more time in. It’s at least worth a go in my opinion. You can always return it if you don’t enjoy. You’ll know within the first 30 mins if it’s for you or not.
Why is this game not more covered ?. I couldn’t find much about this game but saw plenty of positive reviews and asked my VR community what they thought.
Overwhelming positive.
So I grabbed it.
Having a ton of fun with it:
1. It’s a rouge lite, no idea by the description.
You hold your character in your right hand and slash through levels.
You have a main attack, a special, and moving your character at a high speed does damage.
Each time you clear an area you get a choice of power ups ( think hades)
Adding to your run.
2. Your home base is the magical toy shop where you can buy and display toy environments / add ons to get boosts in your dungeons.
3. You use magic that you collect from defeating enemies to purchase upgrades, toy environment boons etc.
4. Enemy variety is good in the levels I’ve played.
Music is whimsical “ think Anastásiya music box* and narrator is straight Santa clause reading.
Basically, if you like comics, toys, music box lullabies and rogue lites you’ll enjoy this.
Plays well stationary, has a zoom scale feature and graphics look great playing on meta quest 3.
Art style is unique.
This is my first meta review and I have 61 games.
I’m leaving a review because this game stands out, should be getting more love and buys and is an excellent VR game especially for the price.
I’ve definitely spent more and been unhappier or felt it was too gimmicky.
For ppl who enjoyed looking around the environments of pixel ripped 1995 you’ll dig the toy shop.
Def pick it up if you like 3rd person rogue lites.
Great game. I love this game and it’s concept 10/10. But it’s pretty short currently. I finished it the same day I bought it. Still glad I got it though. Are y’all planning to add more levels and crumblings? May I suggest a child’s play room or toy chest for a level?
Pretty fun. This game is pretty fun. If you want to make toys come to life and then have it go through an adventure then this is the game for you. Kind of reminds me between Demeo (being toy based) and Small Soldiers the movie. You mix those together and you get this. You control the toy in your hand and you attack things and do stuff to continue with the comic books. So far I only played the tutorial and the 1st level so far. It is pretty fun just from that. I would say give it a go.
