Awesome concept but…. To work 100% it needs to open pdf files attached to the classes. You click on those files and nothing happens, frustrating and disappointing. How they can put the files on classes and never checked if it opens.
I am loving the experience they’ve built. Personally I learn better in a focused setting and this really allows you to feel like you are getting 1:1 training. Plus the fidelity of the new headset really highlights what classroom learning can be for anyone. Can’t wait to continue my learning journey in VR/AR.
I’d suggest expanding the window wide before starting your learning sessions so it fills your view.
Excited to see how they expand their headset experiences.
Can’t take notes. I was so excited to get this app so I could finish my social media marketing course through Meta. But you can’t copy notes easily, so that really sucks and makes this app useless to me. I would have given it a 5 had it been able to do that.
Needs keyboard support!! The app needs keyboard support, as most courses require you to type responses. It's really a pain to have to use the Quest controllers to slowly type out text. Quest has keyboard and mouse support (I have both and are compatible and work with other Quest apps) so it should be rather easy to add. If that gets added I would change my rating to 5-stars.
Brilliant MR (save money link below 🤑). I cannot say it louder. Not perfect, but definitely in the right direction to experience VR/MR masterpieces fir learning while doing stuff at home! Feels like the developers aim for the best user experience 😊
It’s a bookmark, not an app. I’m sick and tired of bookmarks to websites being touted as VR apps. Coursera is no different, which is why the app’s trailer has nothing VR specific.
