"Librarium is one of the rare apps on the Oculus Store that caters to new ways of learning." - Virtual Reality Times
"Librarium applies deep Game Theory principles in its design to inspire learners to return back to the application and continue their studies." - VentureBeat
Librarium is a new way to study that helps you remember more and ace that test, all while having FUN!
Broken app clearly has a long way to go. You learn how to grab an apple and teleport. You literally can't do anything else. What a waste of $10 for what? To walk around an empty library with none of the features advertised because something's clearly unfixed? I teleported literally everywhere and grabbed all the cards but no progress. Exited and returned multiple times, same thing. Octopus is dead silent and I keep getting the teleport tooltip even after using it a hundred times.
Also don't understand why an app called Librarium doesnt already have a feature to read an e-book. Save your money and buy it when it's a REAL app. They can raise their own money through liabilities or equity if they need it that badly, but save your money while it's still trash.
Great concept, no update. At the time of writing (February 2024), I can't recommend the app anymore. It has a lot of potential and I loved studying with it, but adding cards is a struggle that should have been fixed as cards creation is essential for this app. I don't think I have seen an update for a year but I still hope that a big one is coming. (If yes, I will change my review because it's a great study concept and I want it to thrive).
Buy it if you have few cards to add and manage or multiple small decks. Watch yourself being better and better at recalling stuff. Admire the beautiful study environment and discover secrets and hidden motivation words here and there which definitely helped me out during exam times.
No able to get in. I have installed and reinstalled this program. I have seen that I am not the only one with this problem. I cannot even pick a language. Nothing about this on their support webb site. To buy somethin you cannot even see sucks so I can only give one star. And yes I am still waiting for their support.

worst app. The subject says it all. You should be banned from making apps. t This needs to be removed immediately.
Only For Memorizing - And Limited. I got this for my 6th grader to memorize multiplication and maybe other simple subjects. I had to uninstall the program after the first try because there was a glitch that didn't allow us to get past the initial introduction. There's limited flip cards and subjects, and some subjects are an additional charge. I was unable to locate the 6th grade myltiplication flip cards, so this was a waste of time and money. This program is JUST based on memorizing.
Amazing app, incredible concept! This app has completely transformed the way I approach memory training. By combining the power of virtual reality with the memory palace concept, Librarium offers an unforgettable learning adventure. Stepping into virtual memory palaces feels like entering a world of magic and discovery, making studying a truly enjoyable experience. With the addition of subject-specific add-on packs in partnership with Kaplan, Librarium offers a wide range of engaging lessons that turn learning into a captivating journey. The app's potential for revolutionizing education is incredible, and its creative approach has left me amazed. If you're ready to unlock your memory potential and embark on a mind-expanding adventure, I highly recommend giving Librarium a try. Get ready to be captivated, motivated, and amazed as you explore the incredible world of memory mastery.
Doesn’t work. So I pick up the deck I want to use, throw it in the air as instructed and it disappears into a puff of smoke, nothing happens. Tried tutorial, tried my own deck, same thing, broken, don’t buy until fixed.
Wish I could just sit with the cards. I walk all over the library and the one thing that just frustrating is not being able to just sit and relax with the cards in the beautiful space. It feels like IRL I’m already rushed and moving around to the point where I can’t “enjoy” studying. I understand the concept is supposed to aide learning through association. I just would like to be able to relax in the space instead of being dragged through it for the 3 or 4th time studying, passing all the lovely quiet spaces I wish I could sit and enjoy. “Oh look there’s a nice chair to relax in, wish I could just spend time here. Oh well, better move to the next card.” Also, I agree with having some sort of narration with learning medical terms and languages. Perhaps even a way to highlight a word for a definition with punctuation.
Love it, but. But to pronounce words they really need a speaker symbol where if you hit it it will pronounce the words. For example, the medical terminology they should have a a symbol of a speaker to pronounce the word you'll be able to know how to say the words correctly as well as understand the meaning. I hope they look into that and update the app. But I love the app because it's challenging. Would have given five stars if they would have had a way to hear the word so that you can pronounce it correctly
Narrator. I am a beginner there's a chance I haven't came across the option yet however I give this app only 4⭐️'s only because i feel there should be an option that you could have cards read to you just in case you miss spoke of a word , 2ndly libraries do have assistance this could assist a person better then that octopus 🐙

Exploring Librarium is not a task, but a journey. As you work your way through the wide array of free decks, and possibly some of the paid DLC, you will discover more rooms, features and creativity. Not to mention a growing array of knowledge for you to mine. Decks can sometimes be found lying around the library, but the 'store' is by far the best place to search for specific topics. However, the app does have some shortcomings.
Even in the brief time I have been using it, I have found that certain aspects need some polish. One of the most significant was when, after finishing a new deck, I went to the Fact Blaster. Picking up the gun did not trigger the quiz mode, no matter how many times I tried. I had completed the deck - the app told me so repeatedly - so there was no reason the quiz should not have appeared. There was even the spotlight on the gun's podium to confirm that option was now available.
As an 'older person' with dodgy knees, I tend to play a lot of the VR sitting down, which made reaching for object high on shelves, and sitting on the ground, difficult to grab successfully. I even managed to knock a few items off the back of shelves and into inaccessible spaces. Most frustrating to not be able to complete a course due to an item hiding in a corner behind a chair. Perhaps a setting toggle that force-places items in the mid-range, regardless of their predefined spots. Simply a matter of overriding the Z axis co-ord +/-.
I would also like to note that if I grab a coursebook from the store and throw it in the air to activate it, before I add it to my Book, it become impossible to add it to my Book afterwards unless I 'ding the bell' and cycle through every other course until I return to the set it was in. Then it reappears and I can add it to the book. All that said, I'm loving this app and anticipate much use ahead.
Impossible to change a password. Few weeks I had given a one star rate, now I’m giving a 5 star, I had a password problem and i’m thankful to Duane CEO for fixing the problem, I do recommend Librarium, a great app for everyone that is interested in learning! It’s entertaining… and fun way to know more…..
An amazing app for studying vocabulary! I'm an educator and life long learner so I really appreciate this app. The biggest problem right now is that the android companion app has some issues. It may not let you create an account. This can be solved by setting up your account in the VR app first. Secondly please allow object stringing where you can join objects together to tell a narrative. Recent studies show that creating a narrative with your memory palace greatly aids in memorization. At the very least make more objects. There are simply too few right now. It would also be great if we could put the objects where we want to. This will more effectively trigger the loci affect for better memorization. The ability to add sound recordings and effects would also improve the app. What is here is pretty good and I hope that this app continues to be developed. Thank you for your useful app!
Fun and educational. This is one of the best ways to study or just learn new topics. All based around flash cards that u hunt down around the library. Pick the subject your want or just make your own from the phone app.
This has so much potential for learning and wish I had something like this when I was in school.
Hmm... An intriguing way to learn but as a handicap with mobility issues, retrieving flashcards on top of shelves is deemed a Herculean task. If the gameplay could be adjusted to attune disabled persons, that would be great! Thank you!
18/1 downgraded from 3★→1★ simply because of lousy customer service. My emails have been ignored 2 times in a row! Disappointed but too late to ask for a refund! If you are a handicap like me, think thrice before falling into this trap of no return.
A Novel App. Librarium is a novel app with practical use for anyone needing to learn a set of facts or increase familiarity with the basics of any subject. Gaining familiarity with the memory palace secrets and advancing through your studies earns the right to easier navigation and to add rooms to the palace.
It took several turns at using this app before I solved enough of the mysteries of the memory palace to become efficient about studying and testing. Once I did, however, I find myself working through subjects easily. I also use the Librarium Scribe app on my iphone to study courses already taken. The great thing about Scribe is the ability to create your own decks to use in Librarium.
While there are in- app purchases that can be made, there is a fairly generous free library if courses. Using the companion Scribe app to create your own decks nake this an app I will use again and again. Scott Hall
Excellent and it’s just missing…. The concept is great, it helps you develop your memory with one of many methods. Personally, I appreciate it! I think that those who don’t like it comes from the problem that he expects a game. Here it’s more productivity than he thinks. If you want to play, it’s not too indicated. If you are a student and want to develop your thesis or even a professional who has trouble remembering these presentations then do not hesitate. For developers I think it would be great if you presented a kind of sandbox a bit like other developers do in population 1 or others, to allow players to create their own palace according to their preferred environment. I’m sure that a lot would pay for this in extension. First offer a free period in beta and formalize 1 or 2 months later. And Please add french langage To have more users, or put a translated subtitle option if it’s too hard
