Wow! Buy it! Ridge racer, daytona, outrun, need for speed, horizon chase, Tokyo highway challenge... This game is sprinkled with a little of all of these and yet still remains original. A true joy to experience. Finally a full racing experience in vr! Even better on quest 3
Great Racer. I must admit this game is very good. Love the sense of speed. I love the music and Outrun vibe. I feel it gets better the more you play. Looks crisp on Quest 3.
There is a lack of racing games on store. Hope you guys make it to full release.
Engaging Retro Racer. Having played both Neodori Forever and this game, I think I can say that I enjoyed Infinity just as much as Forever if not more. It carries over much of what I liked about it and improves upon it.
As with Forever, Neodori Infinity delivers a unique blend of chill but fast gameplay that can keep you engaged. The nature of the game makes it very easy to pick up or put down at a moment's notice.
The additional music tracks help a lot with keeping the soundscape fresh, not just between games but also within Infinity itself. Vehicle having unique stats made unlocking new ones much more exciting.
Given that the steering wheel is entirely virtual (I played the game entirely in first person with the virtual wheel) it took me a while to consistently use it correctly, but eventually I was able to maintain solid muscle memory and avoid tracking-steering mishaps.
I did feel that the aesthetics were a bit downgraded from Forever (mainly the less vibrant environments/objects), but this could probably be attributed to the transition to VR and/or the capabilities of the hardware.
Overall I think it's a great experience. I haven't spent a lot of time with other VR racers but I would recommend this to anyone interested.
CREATORS PLEASE READ! This is such an amazing game so much fun, however I think it would be so much cooler if you could race people online in this game or even just racing vs ais like Mario kart basically that would be sick. Also would be amazing if you could buy boxes for certain amount of coins which contain car accessories.
80's Arcade Racer. Decent arcade racing with plenty of content and nice soundtrack. Motion control or analog steering and it looks and runs ok. Like flat game Neodori Forever you do not accelerate or brake.
The only thing that disappointed me was there is no haptic feedback in the Touch controllers at all even when impacts, collisions, drifting and boosting occur. Would love to feel subtle thuds when launching road cones into the air or big rumble when crashing into things. Good game and worth the price. UPDATE the haptics are now in the game exactly like I imagined. Thanks devs.
🏎️ Awesome arcade Racer 🚓. In my opinion this game has to be in the official store. Played it for the first time today and had more fun than I've had on the quest in a long time. A really great arcade racer. I like the graphics, driving and drifting are fun and it runs extremely smoothly. I think there is a lot to unlock. A real multiplayer would also be great, but you get more than enough for the price. Thanks
my thoughts. overall a dope game, i’ve been enjoying myself and some levels are honestly challenging. But i wish the levels had slightly more diversity. some levels have the same exact vibe as eachother with matching trees, skyboxes, etc. music is fire tho !!!
Hidden gem. This is, hands down, the best retro arcade racer on Quest. InRun is fun too, but Neodori has better controls. When it comes to racing, perfect controls are WAY more important than flashier graphics. Don’t get me wrong, this game is no slouch in the graphics department.
Finally, Neodori’s frame rate beats InRun by a mile imo. Again, high frame rates are essential for racing games, and Neodori nails it.
For $10, everyone should purchase Neodori and support these smaller developers so we continue getting hidden gems such as this.
Hey developers, I’d happily pay for some more DLC tracks and cars… wink wink, nod nod ;) keep up the great work
