Great VR exp. Checks all the marks. Had fun trying this game out. Think it checks most the marks you want to see in a VR game. Get good movement from having to dodge incoming attacks, get to test your aim on pop up targets looking to take you out. Have to dodge and aim at the same time to take out your targets and continue through the map. You are rushing in holding W and taking out all the foes. Makes you look in all directions to find your targets, high and low. Some things I’d like to see in future possibly would be see some more weapon options like a sword that can slice through some incoming projectiles or boomerang that can take out a line of enemies like a lightning wand, cooldown would be shortly after it comes back to you. Some Breakable structures that can be shot down to drop on enemies. Speed rail of some sort to dodge and shoot degree flying out at you quickly. Maybe modes where instead of the circle target to aim at, the enemies might just have glowing weak spots. Had fun with it and would recommend to anyone, even to just get some good movement and excercise in, good visuals and fight some dragons at the time time.
Great fantasy shooter 😁. The graphics are really well done, the gameplay was super entertaining, and I really liked the effort put into the character designs. I especially loved how challenging yet exciting the boss fight was with aggani. Love this game, hope more people hear about it 👍
BookTok! Your training montage awaits! Have you ever read a fantasy book or watched a movie and thought 'I could do that!'? Elysium is here to prove you wrong. You get to live out your magical badassery, balancing accurate shooting with not getting killed. It's fast paced, and if you get into it (which its hard not to) it ends up being the coolest workout ever.
You have to wield your crossbow and staff of lightning effectively, reacting quickly to not only dispatch the enemies, but to dodge your head out the way of their powerful attacks. There is an easy mode if you want it a bit less intense, but honestly it's amazing. In the first 5 minutes you get pulled into an immersive world where you're fighting for your life with little to no reprieve. It's like the training montage all great Heroines go through, and I felt like Aelin Galathynius or Feyre Archeron.
This definitely qualifies as Valkyrie training, and I am so here for it. If you're an acotar girlie, grab this game and prepare for battle.
Awesome workout and best soundtrack ever. Yes, that title might seem like it's for the wrong game - it's not! This is not your typical rails-style shooter game. This was a whole experience and the visuals were unreal. This is one of the most challenging games I've ever played and you will not advance quickly. On trainee mode with my shield on (which reduces 75% of the impact of incoming hits), I still never beat the dragon on ANY trial I entered. Same for my husband. This feels like older games in which you had to work hard for the achievements. We were never frustrated. The soundtrack really amps you and keeps you trying. I highly recommend this game to shooter-style genre lovers as well as music lovers and anyone looking for a great workout. You have to shoot (target guidance is provided as needed in the settings), dodge, duck, and ... well, survive. Personally, I enjoyed it a lot and my husband did too. If your skill level is high enough to switch to warrior mode, then you can earn essences (translate: points) to upgrade the skins on your arrow and lightning rods (which are your weapons). You can unlock new trials/levels to play the more points you earn. Warrior mode also lets you participate in leaderboard competition. This is not just another rails-style shooter game. From the graphics to the gameplay to the challenge levels, this was definitely a game made by VR fans for VR fans. You won't regret it, but your arms might. Hahahaha.

Forget games like Pistol Whip, this is the shooter to rule all shooters!, it stands out from the crowd too as it's fantasy and not the usual sci-fi gun type games we are all used to. Elysium offers something fresh and new and it does it incredibly well.
The environments are beautiful, Elysium is a very immersive VR game that transports you to a fantasy world complimented by a heavy metal soundtrack which when combined really adds to the intensity of the whole experience. And if thats not enough! Man it's hard! Like old school hard. When you finally place on a leader board you feel pretty accomplished getting there! This game demands skill, speed and precision!
I like that the devs have added a 'bullet proof' feature. This allows you to get to grips with the mechanics better without getting blasted out of the water. And how the gameplay is structured into trials giving you something to work towards each time. Again this has an old school arcade feel that i find very appealing.
For future updates i would love to see a wider variety of enemy that respond in different ways so you can switch up tactics. I feel like there's lots of potential here as the battle mechanics are so good! Its pretty obvious a lot of thought and design went into them. The game also has a lot of unlockable content, such as weapon skins and achievements which we all love.
I would 100% recommend you check out Elysium Trails, it's most definitely a worthy addition to your game collection. ❤️
Stunning & Immersive. I am in awe of how beautiful the graphics are. Everything is so vivid, you feel completely immersed. The tutorial is very clear and gameplay is simple to figure out. With a crossbow in one hand and a wand in the other, you glide through gorgeous scenes shooting and attacking enemies. I easily play sitting down, but still have to bob and dodge enemy attacks. There are easy and warriors modes, and if you are good enough you can even make the leaderboard! This game is not your average rail shooter! The developers have done a great job in creating a smooth, fully immersive fantasy game. I highly recommend picking this one up!!

its like Pistol Whip on steroids! the mechanics are superbly done, and love the fact this is not a one shot and you completed the trials! it teally makes uou work hard for your achivement! and boy when you get on that leader board you will be punching the air with joy 😅
love the fact you can change the difficulty so you take less damage and can sail through a trial so you can kinda practice yiur skills.
you can forge new stronger weapons which is really neat! there is nothing at all you can say bad about this shooter on rails! its just what the quest needed! as we have all be shouting out for a new shooter on rails!! well its here!! and in abundance with this game!! it literally has it all!
