Amazing environments. This app has a lot of functionality for businesses and education. The portal doors can go off to other apps, the games can be played by HR and teams, the whiteboard and sticky notes are wonderful for chatting, and the conference room can have 3-D objects uploaded to examine while in a presentation. If you have not checked out this app you must do so. This needs to be in the main oculus store right now.
Remio has it all. Remio is the perfect social space to supplement the education programming we provide in VR. It is perfect for hosting business meetings, team building events, classes, or just having fun doing Paintball or other fun activities. I have been using this app for over a year and it just keeps getting better.
Great mix of work and play! The environments are beautifully rendered, and there is the perfect amount of interactivity. It's the perfect balance of work and play as you have tools for presenting slides or assets, and after meetings, you are free to do team building activities by connecting to native experiences or external apps.
So far the best. For me Remio is one of the best collaboration spaces I have tested so far. Despite the wonderful little games the behavior of the whiteboards, the possibility to share files, the privacy areas or creating notes makes this app a real collaboration space that is actually usable. Thanks for that!
Here are some bugs we found: - Clicking a button (e.g. terms and conditions) is not always possible (I almost deleted the app, as I was not able to get beyond the privacy screen) - The aeroplane in the Remio Public Server is shown three times one in the other (clipping or model copied) - Created whiteboards can not be moved around the z-axis - In Paintball the winner's podium does not appear for all players - Picking up items like the bow, feels clumsy
But these issues are al minor. The app is great and I will definitely keep it!
Great Experience. This app is wonderful and sets the bar for smooth and easy social interaction. Ive used Remio for both professional and casual meetings with great outcomes. Additionally they have some really fun team building activities that will no doubt leave everyone closer!

Remio has it all. As an educator trying to design VR experiences for a variety of different audiences and content areas, I can say that Remio is pretty great. It's an inviting platform with spaces to accommodate social interaction as well as more formal presentations, lectures, or input sessions. I also find that unlike some other platforms, it is very easy to navigate and figure out where the heck you're going. The icing on the cake for me is that ability to access through both desktop and headset. I think this is critical for soliciting more newbies (educators and otherwise) into VR spaces.
Collaborate and hangout with coworkers. Remio is an interesting app to use for VR meetings and creating shared workspaces. It allows for sharing slides, vids, 3D objects. What's fun about it is it also allows for just hanging out and playing games together in a more social way. Could be useful for team building especially if you visited the escape room and other islands offering team games (like the wacky hide and seek one... couldn't stop laughing in there). I liked the idea of the feedback photo booth they had in there too, where you could share ideas, comments with the Remio team. Looking forward to the development of other (non-shooting) related activities to do with colleagues and improvement of the avatars to allow for more diversity and inclusion.
So much fun! The app offers a cool social space to meet, do presentations and do different fun team building activities. It's easy to navigate and offers a lot of interactive options.
So a adult version of recroom. Soooo all I got from this is its a better version of recroom better building tools and such better graphics and no legs or arms just like recroom in other words a version of recroom not meant for kids and if it is for kids why would i get it if all ill be hearing is kids whining about what they didnt get for christmas no thanks
Team building in VR. Remio helps address a issue compounded by the pandemic. How do you continue to build team relationships and dynamics when you can't physically get together easily or safely. And how do you introduce VR to the workplace and start experimenting with collaboration and productivity without a huge investment? Well here is your answer. And the team at Remio continues to develop and expand features. Really great platform, fun games and lite meeting and productivity features make this a unique platform to explore.
