Digital and participatory museum-forum is an independent project that aims to map the culture of abandonment and reproduce a historical narrative of the phenomenon of child abandonment in Romania. It is the first digital museum institution in Romania that offers the public a virtual museum that presents the story of the Hospital-Home for Unrecoverable Deficiency Juveniles from Sighet. Exploratory experience is created in a three-dimensional and interactive format that borrows specific languages of new media, video games and virtual reality. The virtual museum content uses mixed methods of documentation (archival research, interviews, testimonies, photo-video documentation, 360 photography and 3D scanning).
