The Virtual Work Experience allows high-school students to explore a range of technical and conceptual skills in a short VR-based training. The skill set includes technical understanding, logical & spatial thinking, dexterity etc.
Students can actively try out machines from the metalworking and glass industry, e.g. a hydraulic press, a CNC milling and a welding machine as well as machines for processing hollow and flat glass. So far the Virtual Work Experience has been used in the Bavarian general educational system.
