Now revamped and retooled with the Resurgence update!
EVERSLAUGHT Invasion is the ultimate VR action game! Choose from three unique classes, team up with a friend online and take on a never-ending onslaught of enemies. Run, dash, jump, and grapple your way through sprawling levels. Upgrade your skills and gear on the fly and wield a wide variety of melee and ranged weapons. Unique character abilities and physics-based combat means every battle in EVERSLAUGHT Invasion is a thrill!
The Resurgence Update breathes new life! With the new Resurgence update, it all makes sense now. This is one solid hack and slash, Roguelite styled game now!
New update made this game addictive! The new update brought a lot of needed changes: - Quest 3 shiny update with better textures and overall graphics -The fighting and finishing enemies is meaty and fleshy with great feeling -The upgrades that you get after each wave are really influencing the gameplay. All these changes make the game very addictive, with many unlockables and modes of play. Also grappling hook is a great way of finishing enemies and also moving quickly.
I only wish for a bow in this game, as I just love bows in every VR game so far. Other than that the game deserves a second chance. Wish for even more updates.

Excellent update. The constant waves of enemies are great, very impressed with the update!
Cool, but…. It’s a fun game, just not so fun that I can’t wait to get back to it. It’s just fun. If you feel like you have a limited budget for VR games, I wouldn’t recommend it, otherwise you’ll probably be happy with it.
I played a couple hours and haven’t really been interested to get back to it. I couldn’t understand what I was supposed to do with the pitch darkness of the end of the first level and it took me quite a few tries before I wussed out and just beat it on easy. Never bothered with the second campaign mission.
TBH, I was hoping I could just hack and slash with swords as a morning workout, but the devs were pretty serious about wanting you to use the ranged gauntlet so they built the game so that you strategically couldn’t beat it without using the ranged weapons.
Latest ipdate ruined it. For some unknown reason the last update made the game unplayable on my quest 2. Enemies are transparent and only a health bar is floating... No damage can be done to them. Really annoying!
DO NOT GET THIS GAME. I know it looks fun but god it gets boring quick not to mention they don’t accept refunds I got it it sucked I tried to refund they denied it Do Not. Get It
Kinda works. The spacing and depth shifting feel off, turning still takes forever at max smooth turn setting, matchmaking isn't there, only tried once. Parrying is ridiculously limited, and walking speeds dreadfully weird, but I got limiters.
EXTREMLY good game. The only issues I have with the game is the levels don’t really have are a bit repetitive because after you max the game it just the same thing over I hope they can change this by adding more maps, more enemies, more weapons and possibly make the prime difficulty a lot harder I know this is a lot but even without this the game is a 10/10
The Game-Changer. Invasion is the adrenaline shot that VR gaming needed desperately.
The true freedom of movement here is unmatched - run, jump, dash, grapple; it's your playground - and I really mean it!
The co-op feature takes it to another level. Battling endless enemies with a friend is so much fun, and the interplay between the classes (Warrior, Rogue, Vanguard) is masterfully crafted. And you can see that there was a LOT of love for details in every aspect, whether it's about the lore, upgrades or overall design.
I personally adore the Rogue - zipping around, causing havoc is incredibly satisfying :D
The progression system adds the cherry on top, offering loads of skills and weapons to unlock and upgrade. It's the kind of game that keeps you coming back for more, just to see what else you can do.
EVERSLAUGHT Invasion stands tall in the VR landscape. It's thrilling, fast-paced, and hands-down a must-play. This isn't just another VR game; it's a redefinition of the genre and the kind of game that we have been waiting for!
Thanks to the dev team which dared to take on this monster of a project to spark a change in this genre!!
Disapointing but okayish meele game. Knowing Everslaught since it's first release on Steam and knowing that has been put on hold for a Quest spin-off, that's the Invasion at the end, I was cautiosly optimistic. The PC version is a ton of fun so that version should be too, right... right?
First of all this game as no left handed support at all, like none. You can't choose your dominant hand to swap your grapple/gun glove to the opposite hand. No option to swap input sticks or action buttons. That baffled me a bit since the PC version had those options and they were really nice implemented.
Besides that the overall gameplay feels not really satisfying. You're in an arena and just hacking at wave after wave. Uninspired and yes I have to refer again to the PC version again, that has a way tighter and more fun gameplay. Even the presantation felt way more epic there. This is just your run of the mill meele hack and slay wave game.
Presentation wise you see it's on a mobile chip. They did a good job for that but with the name everSLAUGHT there needs to be way more blood when hitting and slashing enemies. Feels like a pg version where the blood was removed.
Slaughter for all. This game is not like any other, fast paced, violent, and full of surprises. Three separate classes that offer variety in gameplay, and levels that will keep you on your toes. You will break a sweat while playing this game, but you also just might break your sanity among the unrelenting hordes in this nightmare fueled world.
In all seriousness, this game is something truly special, if you enjoy high-octane melee and gunplay, this is the game for you!
Kill, Kill, Kill. Run, Run, Run. I don't usually play standalone games but for the first time I will make an exception. The game feels like those old school arcade fighting games where you buff yourself during the battle. Very good mechanics, very addictive as well. This is action packed, fast paced, you really need space to play this game, just keep your Ming dynasty vases away, there's a point that you are so immersed into the fight that you forget what's around you.
Just get the game. Best Quest game out.

Great Premise, Disappointing Combat. Everslaught Invasion looks great on paper, and the trailers had us really excited, but is essentially a disappointing experience. The shield is tricky to deploy, you cannot parry with your sword or weapons. The collision detection isn't very good, and, perhaps worst of all, wiggling your sword or axe at the enemies has just about the same effect as hacking away at full strength, giving you very little incentive to play it as a real fighter.
The maps are well designed, but the sub-missions that you have to play before you reach the end; one consisting of lighting lanterns around the level, and one consisting of destroying totems, are mind-numbingly boring interludes, and they repeat with every map, every level.
The multiplayer is somewhat broken. Sure, you can play with a friend, but the game doesn't even include any voice chat functionality, so you can't plan things together unless you're already in a Meta Party to begin with. Also, despite being marketed as a co-op experience, the game doesn't really require players to have each other's backs or cooperate in any meaningful way. You just both happen to be playing the same map together.
The grappling hook is cool, the lack of weapon parrying and the lack of weapon physicality is not. These issues, along with the disappointing multiplayer aspect makes it hard to recommend.

Whether it's clerics or the quest 2... ... they are facing certain doom but they're going down fighting. Awesome mechanics, clean graphics and addictive gameplay (was a chaos quake fan, love the grappling crossbow). I hope we get fresh settings down the line (winter, medieval Europe...) although there's more than enough on offer for now.
A huge disappointment. It's fun but I was a huge fan of the PC version and unfortunately Invasion is a spin off that feels like a significant downgrade even with the added co-op and new features.
