Ancient Dungeon is the best and most unique roguelike in VR. It has a classic, fresh voxel pixel art style. The way how this game works literally can only be done in VR. You can interact with ANYTHING, from cutting blades of grass, breaking items to loot, and climbing ladders. The head tracking and physics is done so well to dodge attacks, climb up to areas, push enemies away, and more. It has all the proper roguelike elements like random rooms, enemies, relics to make you stronger, and even bosses (only in The Overgrown Gatehouse). Did I mention this game is hard? Because it is a normal thing to die in a roguelike, especially like this one with a huge learning curve. That is why there is something special called insight-unlocked by general things like entering new areas, killing enemies, buying things from the shop, getting new relics, ect. Insight will help each run get permanently easier, the more upgrade you get the better. The cheapest of those upgrades is necessary for progression as it allows you to collect journal pages, which is lore from other delvers just like you. One of these particular delvers will help you unlock a new weapon set. After beating the game there are more permanent upgrades-this time for your weapons, and if you beat the game three times, you unlock two new modes. There is even a console in settings you can use to make a sandbox experience and run customization (the dice in the corner where you start the game). And surprisingly, this game still has so much more content. There are 55 achievements to unlock with some unlocking new relics that you have a chance seeing on your next run and adding it to the board after picking it up. Overall, this game could take a good 40-50 hours to fully wrap up, if you go mainly for objectives. That is better value than some 30-40$ games. And multiplayer is currently out. I just tried it with a friend and it was absolutely amazing. You have to join the discord to find out how to play it. (It’s somewhat buggy, but it’s in beta) The interactions and the mutual support system make this an absolute classic for you and your friends even though I was already experienced.

Favorite VR Game. By far my favorite vr title so far! I love the art style and how the game is easy to understand but difficult to master. The randomly generated dungeons make gameplay way more fun and make every experience different enough to still feel exciting. Even after beating the game, there is plenty of post content and I’m still discovering things for the first time! Absolutely recommend to everyone, even though i have had some who’ve played it and have had motion sickness.
My experience in this game is just wow. My experience in this game is just wow. never thought items to the rooms and active items to the creatures laying in the dungeon it’s all perfect to some enemies being the size of me in person, it feels like your just there One of my favourite parts is that replayability you could even have a boring run or a one, but it’s completely wack and chaotic, i’ll never thought I would say about this for a game but just buy it buy now,
it’s my favourite retro style game play is easy to learn hard to master with simple mechanics feeling complex at the first few runs
Multiplayer. If any of the developers or people who work on this game read this, can you tell me when multiplayer will come out for quest 2, because I want to play it with my friend, but I can’t because multiplayer isn’t on quest 2
