Very addictive game. This is my favorite game that combined adventure, creative problem solving skills , fantasy and magical worlds all in one. I actually wish there was more to explore this game is so addicting I’m sad I finished it. It’s definitely got a pretty long game play but I found myself playing it in any free time that I had and couldn’t wait to get back to it.
One of the Best Games I’ve Ever Played. I love puzzle/adventure/role play games, but it’s surprisingly difficult to find some where nothing scares you and you don’t have to worry about dying and starting at your last checkpoint so this game is a win for me, (sometimes I just want to chill and explore without worrying about falling off a cliff lol). The story plays like an old parable with the exciting twist of exploring different lands to collect nature’s treasures and using them to create your next mask/portal. The game is very responsive to your actions and the immersion is seamless and beautiful. It satisfies the want for exploration, creativity, and a good story line to go with it. And honestly just the whole concept is so unique, I love it. I’ve played it through multiple times and will play it many more.
Stuck in a hole! Totally love this game. I’m playing it for the second time.
I got myself in a pickle. I'm 3/4 done only have the Magenta masks (grouped with the Red masks). On the first mask I got the wheel for the gates. Took the wheel up and opened one side while the previous side (which had the wheel) closed. Here's my pickle... I accidentally step backwards and feel into that section that had had the wheel. There is no way out, I'm stuck there. Anyone have any hints or am I trapped forever there.
Help. It's a great game (no graphical enhancement on Quest 3), but at the very end of the gsme after the tunnel, there is a corridor with mirrors and the game almost freezes the whole Quest 3. After restart and reload the same happening again. Seems like a game breaking bug, can't finish it :(
Wonderfully creative. I loved the creativity and puzzles in this visually dynamic game, I would play this again and again just to experience the wonderful worlds in the masks. I love it and would recommend it to anyone looking for an escape with beautiful environments, music and an interesting storyline. I hope there will be a second game!!!
Pick it up. Put it down. Pick it up. This game is fascinating in how your able to make masks to move between levels. My kids (8 & 10)and I had a lot of fun in the mask making lab and finding what new mask we would need to make to move forward. We would play it and move on to another game and then come back to it again. Mask making and putting on and taking off masks is a pretty fascinating way to move about!
Know thyself, to escape oblivion. An interesting game full with fortune cookie wisdom. Dye the mask, put on the shells, and disguise yourself with truth! Though do note that, contrary to some other reviews, you CAN turn off subtitles, but only from the main menu.
Nice entry level puzzle game. With a picture book style enriched with some good voice acting, a short, but decent story and a fun building mechanic. This title is a good introduction to Puzzle VR games. If you're a more seasoned player I would avoid this game, you won’t find a challenge here, unless you need a relaxing title.
Exploration gaming at it's finest. If you like to occasionally relax from all the frantic high energy VR games out there, and love exploration as much as I do then this is the game for you! Love all of the world's, and making masks is strangely very relaxing.
I got softlocked. I won’t lie it’s an amazing game and it’s very fun but in burlap swamp there is a reoccurring glitch where when u activate the second statue it won’t register at the tower so I can’t enter the tower or re-activate the statue and I’ve reset twice but the same thing happens, it says I activated the statue but it doesn’t say that at the tower, but still an amazing game
Recommend to easy story/puzzle vibe. I very much enjoy the game the visuals are amazing the mechanics are solid the story is interesting the music is very nice the voice acting is on point so overall I will recommend it if you like a nice story with a very nice puzzle system
5 stars if I can turn off subtitles. An excellent, creative VR puzzle game that would be five stars if they gave you the ability to turn off the incredibly intrusive, distracting and immersion breaking subtitles. I’m not sure how this was released without that option.

健全なVRパズルの4騎のうちの1人。 他の3つは、私にとっては、Fisherman's Tale(同じ開発者)、the last clockwinder、Shadow Pointです。
1 of 4 horsemen of wholesome VR puzzlers. The other 3, for me, are Fisherman's Tale (same dev), the last clockwinder and Shadow Point. If you like one of these, I think there is a good chance you will like the other 3. Exotic and beautiful other words with their own physics. A plot full of emotion and humanity. Puzzles that are sometimes challenging but never feel unfair.
Maskmaker is a very poetic game that keeps you engaged even though it can be a bit repetitive. Yet, you keep going forward, wanting to find new "ingredients" for your masks. Making the masks could seem tedious, but it is in fact one of the highlights of the game. Relaxing and contemplative. The various worlds you visit are beautiful and diverse. And the story is nice, a bit predictable in some respects but with a nice twist as regards the relation between you and the King.
a wholesome narrative puzzler. I enjoyed this one throughout, despite being quite lightweight in actual puzzles or extensive exploration. There's a sense of wonder in the locations, there's the masked spectacle in itself, the polished mechanics and interactions. The inspiration may have been Marcel Marceau, but it really reminds me much of Shadow Point (harder) and The Dreamhold (not VR). A good 7 hours or so without rushing...
enchanting, only minor nuisance is any lack of achievements.
