A whirlwind of fun and chaos. Pros: - The magic system in this game is the most flexible I've ever seen. You can make almost any spell you can think of. - This game respects your intelligence and doesn't hold your hand. But books and clues can be found to aid you. - Due to player's dependence on each other for knowledge and assistance connections are formed more easily and earlier.
Cons: - Magic is a real challenge and if you want to speed cast many many spells, button mashing can take a physical toll on your hands. - Certain aspects seem non intuitive or unfinished. For example it seems push to talk button bind can't be changed or disabled - Most players are friendly. But there are some incredibly toxic players who spawn kill regularly. It may take time for the community to learn to police itself. But in the meantime you can risk it or play on private servers.
This game is amazing! As a first purchase this game was well worth it with an amazing combat system and has amazing potential to grow. Whilst the graphics may not be the best the gameplay makes up for it. Most people are nice but if new it’s best to play in a private server due to a few toxic players but overall an amazing game!
A backers honest review. I backed the game after pre alpha originally launched on sidequest where you had to pay the game dev 15£ through PayPal. I played it a lot during the sidequest days getting close to level 100. Came back in January when applab launched got to level 25 and stopped. I recently came back hit 40 and am working on getting alpha magic. The game has extremely fleshed out systems for being this early in development and only having 1 dev. 9/10
this game, holy sh--t the detail!!! every quest filled with detail, house entered, and tree chopped this world is always changing and everything feels smooth this game is going to pop off PLEASE IM BEGGING YOU NEVER GIVE THIS UP THIS GAME WILL POP OFF SOON I BELIVE
Best Game I Have Ever Played. I’ve been playing for 2 days now and am already addicted to this game ,this game is amazing the magic is so robust and can be used in almost any way and unlocking new items and leveling up feels so rewarding.The only downside that I can see is the graphics but when you get used to it this game feels so nice to look at. In general it’s an amazing experience and for its price is extremely good.
