VFC is more brutal, and more free-formed than traditional boxing simulators.
With PVP at its core, VFC seeks to explore a realm of possibility enabled by VR's unshackling of real-life restraints, and it strives to become the 'Street Fighter' in VR. We've implemented many fighting mechanics that can't be comprehended in a simple article. Please visit vfcgame.com for details.
If sparring while chatting with your opponent isn't your thing, VFC also has a lighthearted single-player campaign. Our AI is tactful and fights with diverse styles.
Players can choose to queue into a PvP game while playing offline modes.
Outside of 1v1 fighting, VFC boasts a wide range of fitness training modes that let player practice their striking, endurance, stamina, defence awareness and combat readiness; it even hosts a running competition inside the game!
a must have for any fighting game lovers. if you’re still waiting for totf pvp and didn’t know about this game. you’re missing out big time. this game is much more ‘hardcore’ than it looks. while this is advertised as a street fighter style fighting game, but the in built mechanics are all grounded in realistic dynamics. and i’ve been nothing but impressed with what i have experienced so far. and the discord community is very lively so finding a fight isn’t hard at all consider this game still have a relatively small player pool (which is why i want to share this game with more people)
Pretty fun. It's a good game. The endless robots mode is by far the most fun as there's not too much going on in your face. The auto-matchmaking is not good, but that's fine since the game is in alpha testing. Great potential, and great gameplay. One major complaint is that the hands are a little laggy and if you swing too fast the punch doesn't register or registers late, and the snap turn can sometimes mess you up if you swing and accidentally touch the right joystick. Maybe make an option to disable snap turn? Maybe there is an option I haven't found. Overall, one of the best VR fighting games available. Well worth the price and it's in early stages to if the developers stick with the game, I'm positive this game will get even better
Encouraging devs here, but... Coming from Thrill I was excited to try this.
I was trying to be careful about my boundaries but very soon punched a picture on the wall very hard and broke it. If there is no option to play in a fixed space (and keep the opponent in the same space so I don't reach out of it!) I just can't use this. I move too much with my feet and do not want to use the joystick.
Cool idea and animations / sound tho. I didn't get a great read on framerate but it seemed just a little stuttery. I would do everything to optimize framerate in a game like this. Or any game for that matter.. smooth fps makes an important impression on people.
The best pvp game out there. Trust me when I say this this is the best arcadey pvp game there is on vr, like there are mechanics to it, fun gameplay, a hell of a stamina test, and if you want fast fights and a lot of knock outs you can force that! This is the best game ever
On par with the greatest, includes PvP. VFC leaves a good impression at first sight. Pretty visuals, good controls, very active game... It is something you easily get into and start having fun without a long learning curve to get you started.
Offering a good first fighting game like creed and thrill of the fight, the game add on top of that a PvP mode.
With various game modes like fighting waves of enemies, fighting a campaign mode that offers a ladder style tournament (similar to mortal kombat) where you pick a character and try to take on the best fighters (AI ones) till you reach the top! The PvP addition is very welcomed. Fight your friends inside of the cage and see who is the better fighter!
You don't want to miss that game. Grab the game, a sweat band and show your friends what you're made of!
The best fighting game hands down. Simply amazing. I think this is raised the bar for the whole fighting game genre in VR previously held by totf. Alot of innovative solution to the hard problems in fighting games.
Now, is this a better totf? Well this is not a boxing game, so it's like comparing UFC to Street fighter, but the game offer almost the same if not more nuanced fighting mechanics and give the realism to fighting. (VFC looks gamey but only in visual style, the game core itself is very realistic)
This game has a very different but equally solid single player compared to totf and at the same time the PvP is simply amazing, had ton of fun playing with my bro from a world away and we fought at 200ms, but the game still feels super smooth at this latency which is voodoo magic to me. I cant imagine how fun the game would be if the pings are at a normal level.
The game is super responsive to detecting your swing, the damage output is shown to you so you know precisely how much damage you dealt, it visibility rewards swing speed and form. So wiggling is by nature not encouraged.
The game's mechanics against spamming punches (creed had the silly stamina system) is it's stun system. If you get hit hard, you get stunned, and there is a broken screen effect signalling this effect in action. During this stun period your own bits are rendered useless, so you are naturally incentivise to stop attacks and start defending, I find this solution very elegant and should be the standard for other games to follow.
Also watched the devlog and notice the head roll system they implemented, so it take into account your head movement when you get hit, and if your are rolling away from the lunch, you receive less damage, this is remarkable level of attention to detail, unmatched by any other fighting games on the market.
Best fighting PVP game in VR. I've been playing this game with my kid for a while now on steam. 3 rounds get your drenched in sweat and the action feels right. Now the single player is out with awesome style, locations and mechanics! The characters got that street fighter feel, and the single player can be challenging. You can't just aimlessly throw punches or swing your arms, as the AI will block and adapt. Been waiting for a while for this game to come to quest and very happy it's finally here!
Virtual Fighting Championship. The game is fun and everything I like the characters I hope it's more characters you can play with I'm not sure if they got any powers or anything but what I don't like is on the main menu and you do your selection on the quest it starts glitching or when you first get to the main menu once I'd be good stop getting on popup RV switch to a training and all that stuff section it was glitch and be blurry for a minute did clear up please fix that but all so far the game is fun I just started playing but we will get a workout promise you that
Get that stress relief! VFC has been around for a while on PC, but this port to quest is just fantastic. It's definitely more arcade style fighting but sometimes that'll scratch the itch better than anything else.
Are you a fan of boxing? What about street fighter? If you said yes to either, you should ask yourself why this isn't in your library yet.
Deception. For the price it is not worth more than 1 stars. Sincerely, you sell dreams with your trailer but the game is quite different, quite empty in content (and apparently according to another comment, it will not evolve). The training could be good, especially with the robots, but why not have him attack? the adventure mode is so messy that in the end we type in all directions since we have no visibility due to the popups that are permanently displayed on the opponent when we touch him, so we see nothing (why not displaying them at the top of the screen without disrupting the fight or the visuals. This is nonsense). and finally you have to create an account to save some of these progress, why? including a save in the game is too much to ask? certainly as you mention, it's not toft but be consistent with your trailer and give us a real arcade game like others do like creed or knockout league which combines arcade and boxing very well. But toft remains the best, and yes I compare this game to toft because when I buy a game called Vitual Fighting Championship, I expect to fight opponents in the arena with a minimum of realism and not the other way around
