Swordsman is a physics-based medieval combat game designed for virtual reality. The game features advanced weapon handling, dismemberment, realistic armor physics, factions and boss fights, RPG elements and player progression.
Great start! The physics are pretty good, Bjorn was a real pain though. I've only beat it on easy so far. I'd like to see better anatomical realism. A leg wound= limping/ unable to walk. Mind you it's really well done as is. Also armor penetration. I realize those are very intricate to write. In short more realistic which would make it far more difficult. But all in all considering this is on a small headset... I'm blown away. A Lot of work went into that experience!
Great gameplay and AI. The game runs very smoothly, and the enemy AI is highly responsive and realistic. The graphics are excellent as well. However, I believe that the limit on skills should be adjustable and increase as the player progresses through the levels. Overall, it's a great game!
Best Combat Title in VR. Most titles have endless tutorials and take way too long to feel a payoff. Swordsman is a blast from the first minute and you‘ll get several hours of epic fun out of it. The teams incredible in continually adding new content. From adding new bosses, to adding the hazards and training ground recently, the title keeps getting better. Hyped to one day have PvP!!
Realistic sword fighting. This game is an amazing game for anyone looking for a - progression system - fun campaign - Good weapons - Tough enemies It has some fun game modes like horde, arena and pirate levels Nice starting area And TRAINING GROUNDS This is a must have for a person looking for a great sword fighting experience NOTE FOR DEV / recommendations : - Please add a horse in training grounds - Please add more scenery in horde mode - make zombies faster - zombies get armor and weapons in hard mode like hellsplit arena!
Fun swordplay. It’s limited by available technology, but a helluva lot of fun. Opponent AI should improve down the road, and some odd but expected issues with swords and shields winging around, but all and all it shows a promising future for immersive swordplay. I’m most familiar with 2 handed combat (longsword) but find that awkward without a controller to mimic the grip.
Great game. Back in the day, Playstation had a online game, which was based off of the Starz show "Spartacus " characters from the show, storylines...etc. This reminds me of that game. This game is awesome. Good control, good graphics, you can build your player the way your want. Good skill levels, All that it's missing is a PVP mode like "Creed" hopefully that's coming. A must have for your library.
How to get 100% completion?. Your completion percentage will go up as you compete levels of the game. The normal levels don’t give too much completion percentage, it’s mainly the boss and extra levels. The final boss is the last level in the story. Some people will beat the level, and wonder why their game isn’t 100% completed. If you’re one of these people, let me explain. There is a button in the top right corner of the lobby/main area. Clicking it will reveal what is currently 3 bonus sections. The first is Claus, a winter/christmas themed boss that is easily defeated. The second is The Caribbean, a section with 6 levels, 5 are waves of easily defeated enemies. The last 6th level, however, has the pirate king, Brownbeard. He is a pretty tough boss, having a very strong sword that both swings and shoots. He also has high health, some people believe he is more difficult than any other boss, including the final. The last, but not least, is Hel, the only female boss in the game, but don’t underestimate her. Hel wields two daggers, the Reapers, she will teleport around and try to get the jump on you, but she doesn’t have the best protection, and not that much health. So if you know what you’re doing, she is an easy kill. However, after defeating Hel, the huge gate opens, prompting you to go inside. Once you do, you’ll be met by a giant. There are 4 crystals around the room that you’ll have to destroy while being chased. Make sure to only attack the glowing ones, this indicates the one you are supposed to attack. After destroying all 4 crystals, the giant will fall, and you can finish him off. After that, however, Hel attacks again. It is the same as the first attack, so the same tactics apply. Hel is honestly one of the longest taking, hardest bosses to beat. But hopefully I explained why after completing the story is still isn’t 100%. Have a good rest of your day!
This game is amazing. This game is so good I told my friend about it and we both like it we occasionally play it a lot. This game should have a 5 star rating for how realistic and how fun the game is to play because the devs add in different things kinda secrets. This game is amazing would recommend playing.
