Super fun fast paced shooter. Super fun, fast paced shooter. Mutated Virus is a fast paced fun zombie wave shooter that gets you moving right out of the gate. The weapons are cool and the different perks like time slow down that you find around the map are awesome. The heavy metal music goes perfect with the game, as well as the arena announcer who calls out all your awesome kills. Lots of fun to be had with this inexpensive horror shooter.
Great game but…. This is a great game to just kick back and relax and demolish zombies and just listen to music. This can get boring after about an hour but I always end up coming back to it. Personally I don’t like the forest map but I love the factory map. A MESSAGE TO THE DEVS “please add co-op and a new map and the ability to double hand the ar’s and could you add some grenades” P.S I love this game to just relax and I don’t need to focus and feel like a GOD 8/10
All good now. After a game crash, i send a video to the development team, they was more than helpful, the recommendations worked for me and now i can play it perfectly, thanks. Great customer service.

poop game. give me my money back it wont even let me play,
The app crashes all the time. I just pay like 6 dollar for this app and keep crashing, i opened, put my name, click in play, select the normal mode and crash, i uninstalled and reinstalled again and keeps crashing, i don't know what to do

A VR zombie wave shooter for Meta Quest is called Mutated Virus. Waves of zombie invasions must be resisted. To stay alive, move around the level, collecting health packs, weapons, and ammunition. If you own the Quest or Quest 2, the game's gorgeous, atmospheric levels make it a fantastic virtual reality (VR) game to play on Halloween. The mechanics are simple, so your main focus should be dodging the enemies and shooting them down.
I love the third level, I think the level design with the hills and the complete darkness but your torchlight makes it scary, immersive, and more exciting to play, especially in VR. Shooting feels good, and waves become more challenging as you progress.
On the downside, I felt annoyed not being able to hand-lock hold on the shotgun or assault rifle (so I played make-believe but held it with one hand for most part), and I would prefer it if there were more levels to explore and more cool powerups. Although I liked the simplified loading mechanics, I prefer it has a controller movement rather than just pressing a button with a nice sound effect.
Overall, a good wave shooter for those who don't like complex mechanics and prefer to just run and gun. It is also a good scary game to play on Halloween. Make sure to unlock the last level, it's really fun! - Enjoy.
Great for a quick getaway. This is a no frills shooter. Great music, great environments to shoot zombies in order to unwind. It does what little it does well and you feel powerfull as you gun down monsters while listening to rock music.
Mutated virus. Have to agree with the other five star reviews , the developers have made a really good game ,which is addictive and great for a quick blast .I first purchased this on itch some time ago and seeing it now on the lab store it's nice to see the continued work they have put in .At the price they are asking it's a no brainer .Keep up the good work and can't wait to see Bionic hunter next on lab store.
An impressive indie effort! This is a commendable indie effort. I applaud the devs for this game. The character models, the weapon designs, the attention paid to those details, coupled with the fact that this is an independent creation, I'm able to give it high marks out of principle alone. Playing it seated is not reccommended, as I tried that, but when standing it was a completely different and quite immersive experience. Smooth turning should be implemented by the end of October as well. Based on that info directly from the developer, I have reason to suspect there may be other updates to come as well. So, for the price tag and what's offered, plus what's to come, Mutated Virus gets two thumbs up from me.
