Race for fun is an arcade game in time attack mode. Enjoy the ride, upgrade your driving skills, fight with users for the best lap time. Each car has its own characteristics. Unique trails have different levels of difficulty.
Brilliant game! Just got this game today and wow it's very good, the problem people say about the steering is not a problem if you drive one handed and have the other hand ready to change gear I've just played it for 1hr 30mins no problem. It would to nice to change volume between engine sound and music, also racing other cars but maybe it's to much for the quest to do, anyway I'm playing a racing game in VR on the quest brilliant! Ps only £4.49.
Game is fun, but needs a few tweaks. 1. The automatic cars do not downshift soon enough when you let go of the throttle and turn, causing the car to have low acceleration once you engage the throttle again.
2. Needs an options menu to tweak sound effect volume and music volume.
3. Sometimes you don't get coins when completing a time-attack race.
Other than that, I love the game and love the handling model.
Great Concept - Bad Follow Thru. I enjoyed the look of the game, the choices one can make and the different cars you can choose from, BUT... This is 2022 and no one born after 1975 has learned how to drive a stick shift and YOU give NO instructions on how to. I'm pushing 60 and NEVER in my life did I have to learn or even want/need to learn how to drive a manual car.
The majority of your game players are going to be under the age of 25 and might not have ever seen a manual transmission!
I know there are a few automatic transmissions but you first have to actually earn money driving the cars to get that cash, and that can take a LONG time to get up to the money needed for an automatic.
I fought with the first car you get for a while but was able to buy the Corvette. The first car I had NO trouble handling and keeping it on the road. Once I got it up to full speed I never let off the gas and topped it out at 210 mph and never crashed, I Did the track in 1:11:00 That may not sound great but for a guy who has NO idea how to drive a stick, I am proud.
I got in the Corvette and the second I touched the gas the car was OFF the road. It had NO control as the first car did. Ended up on a guard rail shortly into the run and was struck.
No matter where you are in the world, you should have been able to hear me swear!
I think you should allow automatic cars right from the beginning and not have to earn 7 grand or more to buy one. I wasted 4 grand on a corvette so getting up to 7 grand again will take a lot of time and anger.
Overall good, but could be improved. The mechanics and everything is fine, but like most people said, the shifter isn't very intuitive, doesn't have any feedback and slides around a lot, making you look at the gear shifter and crash. Other than that an awesome game, would be infinitely better and a definite hit if it included multi-player

Good. Very good, grind for money for the cars... terrible
Great. In my opinion this is the best racing game for Quest. The only complaint: the manual transmission is not very handy because unlike a real car you can't fumble blindly. It's worth thinking about making the gearshift to buttons or adding an automatic transmission.
Love it. Really simple and enjoyable. I look forward to updates. One trouble, I'm right handed and I can't change gear in car accelerate at same time (layout says left hand accelerate but it's right in reality). Any chance of off road or rally option? I'd pay !! Keep up good work Devs !!

great updates. this is still one of the best racing games out there!! your most recent update is incredible! keep up the great work! thanks for more cars too! sincenyou followed up on the WILLY'S idea, how about that 1965 shellby cobra? the damage is a nice touch too. i do think that the difference in price from the Porsche to the lambo is pretty high, but i thank ya for the opportunity to drive them. i am telling others to check this game out, so keep the updates coming!
Great Experience for the Price! This is an amazing experience. The car interior is realistic and you have multiple vehicles to drive, plus multiple enviroments
I didn't know how to drive stick until I got this game. Now I'm somewhat of a pro
I'd love to see a automatic transmission in the future...
But Overall I'm super satisfied with this game!!!

Great game. This game is super good for its price. Graphics are amazing and it's really fun. I think the devs should add another mode where you could race other cars. It would make it even better!
Great game with lots of potential. I really like this game and the price is great if u are considering getting it I totally recommend it but I do have a few suggestions for the devs
Keep in mind i will be only taking abt the not so good parts of this game so don’t take this next part as what u can expect from the game
So far the game is great but I feel like it could be even better with some different modes like where u could race against bots or a mode where u could get a car that’s good for drifting and a race on a drifting map. At the moment when u join the game u only get 1 car that u have to use until u buy a better car, with that first car I don’t think it’s physically possible to get more than 1 star in any of the maps and with that 1 slow car u have to grind for so long just to get ur next car and u find ur self driving around the last map that gets u the best amount of money for ur time and every lap just feels the same like occasionally u might crash and that would be the only different thing that would happen to u in about 5 laps of the map, once u get a faster car it’s a little better but I just feel like the replay ability is there it’s just not as fun as it could be which I feel could be fixed with other game modes or like a good if u really wanna stick to the time attack modes u could add a drifting mode or something Also please just make the start of the game a little less challenging and grindy
Also some settings would be nice like if u could add some settings to adjust the background music or change the binds or something

No automatic. Really cool, most realistic driving sim I’ve seen on the quest by far graphic-wise. Handling? Not so much. First off, I don’t like driving manually, there should be an option to drive automatic, and if you’re gonna force us to drive manually, at the very least, give more feedback on switching of gears, whether it be your controller vibrating or being able to see which gear you’re in at the corner of the window so you don’t have to constantly keep looking down. Steering wheel doesn’t work like a real steering wheel should, always stays in the same position you let go of it in. Can’t really complain too much though because it isn’t the full release, which is why I’m giving it 4/5 stars. It’s alright for the price I guess, but for now all I can do is wait for the game to be fully released, and I know it’s going to be good. A lotttt of potential in this game and I’m excited to see the end result.
Great Game with Great Price! For the driving experience, it’s my favorite racing game on quest 2 so far. You may find other racing simulator game on Quest 2. I like this most because no one like this game. It really gives me a lot of fun for driving and smooth driving experience. I was wondering if this game is good enough to me. After checking the review, I decide to give it a try. All I is need is a simple race game! And it really satisfied me.
With 5.99 USD, it’s fair to not to expect to get complete super high level game. No competitors, no car tuning options, no upgrade options. I can only paint the car and drive the car. But this game really focus on the driving and racing. To me, it’s the key of the driving game! Great racing wheel design ( I know how hard to design it for the VR controller), the great manual gear (it gives the game the unique control experience that other same level games never give it.) Both makes this game more special!
Looking for the future update! Thank you for making a good racing game to people who have no PCVR. Great job! 5 stars for the price and the gaming experience. I love it.

Great. A perfect basis for a top game. Maybe some little ideas. Show technical data in the windshield, No music during the race, it drowns out the beautiful racing sounds. I can't wait to see how the game will grow. Good luck!
