★5 - #ゴルフゲームの中でNo.1です。
Golf+はパッティンググリーンの物理演算はすごいけど、それ以外はちょっと......スライスの連続とか。ゴルフ5のスイングフィジックスは、特にhcpモードでは、よりポイントになるようですが、当時（数週間前）、私はパッティンググリーン（矢印付き）が不足していると感じました。ゴルフ＋は、ミニゴルフにゴルフのメカニックを足したような感じですが、こちらは実際のゴルフを中心に一から作り上げたような感じです。ゴルフ＋には3～4コース（1コースは有料）あるのに対し、ゴルフ5には無料で遊べるコースが2つあります（これは時間とともに増えていくとしか思えません）。ゴルフ＋にはトップゴルフなどの追加モードがありますが......よく言われるように、量より質ですね。 ゴルフ5のグラフィックはかなり良くなっていて、コースにいるような感覚を味わえます。ゴルフ5を強くお勧めします 5*

I've had this and Golf+ for well over 6 months now and I can honestly say that I've always preferred golf5. Golf+ imo had amazing putting green physics but everything else just seemed off.......constant slicing etc. Whereas Golf5 swing physics seem way more on point especially in hcp mode but at the time (few weeks back) I found the putting greens (with arrows) lacking BUT now that Golf 5 has updated greens with topography lines (similar to golf+) it's just a lot lot lot better now. Golf + feels like a mini golf game with golf mechanics tacked on whereas this feels like it's been built from the ground around actual golf. Golf+ has 3 maybe 4 courses (1 paid) whereas Golf5 has 2 courses for free (can only assume this will increase over time). Golf+ has extra modes like top golf.......but you know what they say, quality over quantity. I'm not trying to discredit Golf+ as I think the devs have worked hard but my continued support will be fully put into Golf5 in all instances........oh and Golf5 has MUCH better graphics and you truly do feel like your on the course. A good game for people who understand the game of golf, but not great for people new to golf or for people who never intend to play golf in real life.
I understand writing a review with suggestings on how to improve a game may become frustrating to developers. It can be almost insulting to have people point out things that developers have almost always already thought of and if they could add it to the game easily they would have. As we all know the reality is that creating games and continuing to add or change them takes so much time, money, and effort. But hopefully the developers understand that if players are asking for improvement its because we LOVE the game already and want to see it become even better.
So here are more of those annoying suggestions to the developers we love so much:
If this game could help coach or show tips on how a player can improve within the game it would help bring players new to golf back for more. Not knowing what you are doing wrong within a game like golf can cause people to become frustrated and quit.
-Club Suggestions: Being new to golf I struggle to know which clubs should be used for every situation.
-Tips on Swings: Being able to calculate a players realtime swing and telling the players what they could improve on would make a huge difference on not repeating the same errors.
-Stance: Suggestions on where to stand in conjunction with the ball.
I'm not asking for a coaching device to coach and improve real life golf, but a coaching device to show how to improve within this game would be perfect.
Also, if courses are going to roll out slowly it might be easier to simple allow time of day changes to keep the same courses feeling fresh. Adding fun things like golfing at night with golf balls that light-up/glow, golfing at dawn or dusk, etc.
An updated and fresh menu system would be a welcome change as well. The current menu makes the game feel dated already.投稿者：Broox33

このゲームが大好きです。ゴルフ+を試したが、返金してもらった。ゴルフをやって育ったので、プロではないのですが、調子が悪いとわかるんです。VRでスポーツシムは無理だと諦めていましたが、このゲームはセール中で、リアルシム物理学を謳っており、そのレビューに裏付けされた主張です。

OPクラブセットをゲーム内で購入することもできますが、良いプレーをしてハンディキャップを下げることで、付属のクラブセットを獲得しなければならないところが気に入っています。よりリアルな体験ができます。
クラブパワーを1:1のトゥルースイングに調整でき、本当に本物のような挙動をします。それはしかしクラブの重量なしで少し厄介です、従って適当なクラブコントローラーの付属品を見つけるまでクラブ力を上げる必要があったら悪く感じないで下さい。
クラブアクセサリーといえば、このゲームをさらにレベルアップさせてくれそうな気がするので、ぜひとも自分のものを探したいと思っています。

Love this game. Tried Golf+ and had it refunded. I grew up playing golf and while I'm no pro, I know when things are off... I had about given up on sports sims in VR but this was on sale and boasted its real-sim physics--a claim backed up by its reviews.
This game feels like real golf. There are some quirks here and there, but it is far and above the arcade-y feel of Golf+.
There are in game purchases for OP clubsets, but I like how you have to earn the included clubsets by playing well and bringing down your handicap. Makes the experience so much more authentic.
You can adjust the club power to 1:1 true swing, and it really does behave like the real thing. It is a bit awkward though without the weight of a club, so don't feel bad if you need to up the club power until you can find a decent club controller accessory.
Speaking of club accessories, I feel like that will take this game to the next level and am eagerly hunting for one of my own.
Great job on this, devs! Now I can play a quick round and blow of some steam after every workshift or whenever I want without breaking the bank!!投稿者：onidraug

I played real golf as a younger man, in high school and in college. I have always loved the sport, but as an adult, I have had very little time to play. I was resigned that I would have to wait until retirement to get back in to the game.
Because of Golf 5 eClub, I no longer have to wait. The physics, the immersion, the "feel" of the game is dead-on for me.
I have played Golf+ and exVRience Golf, and both of those titles fall short in some fairly substantial ways, but Golf 5 eClub does not. This is a first class game, and it has brought me much joy playing with my friends who live in far flung areas. II use an extender, which I recommend to any player, for the control and "feel" of it. There are a few options for this, from making one at home, to the $30 AMVR "staff", or the Esimen 2-in-1 VR Golf Club all the way up to the (now) $100 DeadEyeVR DriVR. I feel an extender is almost a necessity. The game works fine without one, but the feel of the weight distribution provided by a "stick" is really nice, and you are able to put a lot more power and control behind your shots.
I am constantly amazed that this game has not yet been picked up by even more sponsors. I am very excited to see the development of the league and championships. This is EXACTLY what a sports VR game should be.
This game is native to the Quest 2, and level of graphics and sophistication that the developers have achieved on that platform is remarkable. It would be great if this were available as a PCVR based game as well through Steam or the Oculus store so that I could use the power of my gaming pc to achieve an even more beautiful and immersive experience. Super game. Graphics amazing. The 2 courses are wonderful to play and the mini course is fun too. Excellent value for money.
Any improvements which for me would enhance the experience are pretty much cosmetic as everything is fine as it is; but here are my suggestions anyways:
I find when putting, the crowd begins to roar but seems to end abruptly. I'd love a more authentic crowd reaction. The commentary is pretty basic, a bit more excitement from him would be appreciated. As always with golf games more courses are welcome as isxadditional content in the mini golf such as obstacles and courses.
I know the extra time and money is a factor so I certainly wouldn't mind paying for such extras.

They say practice makes prefect. Within the driving range there is a swing analyzer. I believe most of the metrics are from algorithms that use the motion you control while swinging the "golf club". The developers have done a great job making this a very realistic experience. My scores in the VR world are similar to what i get in the real world of golf. Swing to hard, come over the top, leave the club face open and you get the same results in the" simulation".投稿者：gmanuel56

To make this game more realistic you need to move the pins to different locations on the greens and move the Teebox also. I know from memory I can step up to a certain par three and say 4-iron every single time I play the hole. The wind direction you installed in the game does make it a little more difficult but not enough wind to really change a ball flight at 4 mph. So move the pins around up back metal or have different tea boxes. Love the game play it 3 to 4 times a week just looking for minor improvements. グリップトリガーを押してホールまでの距離を見るとき、ホールの標高と風を追加してほしい（他のゴルフゲームと同じように）。
また、ボールのライが表示され、ラフや1番カット、砂地にどれだけ埋まっているかがわかるといい（他のゴルフゲームのように小さな写真付きでもいい）。
また、グリーンのカーブももう少し詳しく見れると嬉しいです。
フォレストでのバックナインが楽しみです :)

I now have 4 golf games on the Quest 1/2 and Rift. I bought this to play with friends one of which only has a Quest 1, I am using my Quest 2. I as well as my friends play real golf and my one friend shoots in the 70s. I am 58 years old and buddy is 74, we played a round yesterday and another today and had a blast. The game worked very well, looked great and played great, congrats and thanks to the developers. If I was to ask for any features or changes they would be....
When pressing the grip trigger to see the distance to the hole, adding the elevation the hole is and maybe the wind would be nice (just like other golf games)
Also, showing the ball's lie, so you can see how buried you are in the rough, 1st cut or sand (maybe with a little pic just like other golf games) would be nice and maybe a little more detailed look at the curve of the green.
I don't want to make it sound like it's bad because the game is great but if adding things, please consider these requests.
Looking forward to the back nine at Forest :)

これは必携のゲームであり、これまでOculusで断トツに最高のゲームです。シングルプレイヤー・モードも素晴らしいですが、マルチプレイヤーは全ての期待を超えています。家から出ずに友人や家族とチャットしながらゴルフができるなんて、最高です。
今後もゲームの改良、特に新しいコースの追加を期待するばかりです。

APRIL UPDATE: The new Forest maps look great, these are probably your best maps yet and they feel super immersive, also the stick feels amazing with the new physics system, this is definitely the closest gaming experience to real golf I've ever tried. Keep it up!

This is a must have game and up to now, the best on Oculus by far. Single player modes are great but multiplayer exceeds all expectations. Golfing while chatting with friends or family without leaving your house is amazing.
I only hope they continue to improve the game especially with new courses.
EDIT: Just tried the new forest course and loved it. It's really immersive how you can now play from the rough in both courses as well. Also the new physics are just brilliant. Thank you and keep it up ❤️投稿者：Alburgerto

I have both this game and the Top Golf+ game and like them both, but they are a bit different. The thing I like most about this game is like in real golf you have to choose your club for each shot, the game doesn't do it for you. The driving range is more like a real range at many golf courses, great for warmup, practice and getting the feel and distances on your clubs. The WIPP game (wood, iron, pitch, putt) in this is also fun when you want to try something different.
Some things I don't like about this game are the fairways are a bit narrow, which would be OK, but the game doesn't allow you to hit your ball from the "Lateral Hazards" sand that surround the fairways even when the ball barely rolls into the hazard areas. You are assessed a penalty stroke and required to drop your ball on the fairway. In real golf you CAN hit shots from hazard areas without a penalty. Lateral hazards are not the same as Out of Bounds, but in this game the Devs got it wrong and need to fix it. As many others have said the greens are way too fast with no way to choose the speed. OK, I can adjust my putting stroke to compensate for it, but pitch and chip shots are ridiculously difficult and unrealistic because of it. When I swing with the speed that would send a real golf ball 5 yards, in this game my shot goes 20 to 30 yards with the ball rolling off the opposite side of the green, almost always. They really need to slow the greens down and have a slower more forgiving speed setting for novice players. This would really help with the "short game" (chip/pitch shots) especially, and maybe they should adjust the strength of short shots so they don't travel quite so far. These are some things that would make the game more realistic and more enjoyable. This game is great for playing with others after you get the hang of it, including random people you haven't met, up to a foursome like at a real course. The game offers an excellent experience for real life golfers. But if you don't have experience it's also a great way to discover golf. You will enjoy it anyways.
The developer is offering constant support with regular updates. After the last update I'm sure the game will keep growing and improving for a long time!

I like alot of things about Golf 5 eClub. But the one thing that makes or breaks it was HPC. It's no GCQuad but from observing ballflight it's a fairly reasonable approx. Kudos on that. Quite remarkable actually. With HPC on the one thing I noticed about the 7i, it flies low with low spin. Still has decent distance but most of it from roll. 20yd rolls on my 7i. Not ideal. I normally deliver 7i with some shaft lean and dyn loft of 25-27°. That should produce a decent amt of backspin (5000+) and 100+ft height. With HPC, irons tend to favor a high dynamic loft so anything that's low will result in a non ideal ballflight in the game (3k spin,70ft height). In golf, you want to avoid 'scooping' or 'flipping' but this game rewards you for that. Instead of a shot that goes too high and loses distance, in the game it results in good ballflight. In Golf+, my results are fine but what I dont like about Golf+ is the results are good regardless of how I swing. I'd make a bad swing but Golf+ thinks I hit it good. Maybe that's why so many love it. I prefer eClub's approach. A bad swing should result in a less optimal shot. HPC just needs some tweaking. It seems like it's not taking into account the ground+ball at impact -it ignores compression. So when you have a negative attack angle(swinging down), creating compression, HPC ignores it...your ball gets very low spin when in reality it should launch the ball at a decent speed and reach 100-110ft vs 70ft with the 7i. My best shots were when I scoop/flip, not something I want to do on a golf course. Strange thing is with HPC off, the results were better with irons. With the driver on HPC, the issue plaguing irons doesn't seem to affect it. With HPC off driver wasnt as good. My guess is it's on a tee and you're supposed to hit up on the driver - the one thing HPC seems to favor. I hope HPC gets better because there's a ton of potential here. If you want arcade golf there's Golf+ but this can be 5* VR golf with some tweaks.投稿者：forerighty

Couple critical takes from a very avid golfer.
1. The par threes shouldn’t be 260-325 yards, make that realistic like 130-200 yards.
2. Putting is horrendous. Maybe allow an assist function or easier view of contouring.
3. Allow the length of clubs to adjust in view. Currently when I adjust club length it “pushes” the view further away but doesn’t affect the viewable length of the club, which is where feel comes from.

I really like this game, A friend of mine who knows I love golf gave it to me on my birthday, I have play it a lot, the graphics are amazing, the details on the grass and the trees. Just one problem, the physics are not that accurate, using an 8 club near the green just to approach will send the ball a hundred yards away. If you use the right clubs with the right force, this game is good, but if you want to improvise as you do on the field, it will be a nightmare. Hope they fix that and include more courses, the way the handle the handicap is horrible too, you have to buy coins in order to play other tournaments. I change to the other app and really even the graphics are not as good as this one, it worth every dollar. I will be back in the near future to see if the problems has been fixed. Meanwhile the other app is much more precise and feel more real. Love U guys. Fix this little problems and you will beat the competition.投稿者：hader.antivar

I own both golf 5 and golf+, they're both great games, but golf 5 physics actually translate out to realworld golf. What I mean is, if you experiment different swings in the game to fix your draw or slice for example, then take the same swings on a real range/course, the ballflight results are actually the same! Can't say that about golf+, it doesn't calculate ballflight given swingpath and face angle at impact, like golf 5 does.
There's only 1 change that would make this game perfect. For driver,woods and long irons, please adjust the carry and roll distances to more accurately reflect realworld numbers!投稿者：winst2shn

Coming from an avid golfer, this is is amazing. I have both this on abs Golf + and this one is y far more realistic. The swinging and hitting feels so fluid, it almost feels as if you’re hitting a real ball. The driving range is also a great feature. The only reason I gave it 4/5 stars is because the HCP needs a little work, and I wish that putting gave you a putt preview of some sort. Own both this and Golf+, both great games æ, tho I prefer this one 99 prosent of the times, looking forward to more courses.
And would love to see a "range/putting place" where you can watch videos etc. That would make this game even better.
And some more types of clubs, like a 60 degree etc, and then the ability to pick what clubs to have in the bag.
And one thing I don't like about this game is the role on the ball, when you hit the ball 170 meters and the ball stops at 270 that feels kinda weird.

どちらのゴルフゲームも持っていますが、こちらの方が断然リアルです。グラフィックが良く、全体的にリアルなゲームプレイ。画面の中央を移動する方法があればいいのですが。方法があるのかどうか、まだ分かっていません。それと、デッドアイを装着しているのですが、ハンドルがあるとよりリアルに感じられるので、キャリブレーションがあればいいなと思います。この2点が改善されれば、間違いなく星5つです。

I have both golf games, this one is definitely more realistic. Better graphics and overall realistic game play. I wish there was a way to re center the screen. I haven’t figured it out if there is a way. That and I have a dead eye attachment which I wish they had a calibration for as the handle makes the experience feel more real. 唯一の不満は、HelloRealやDeadEye VRなどのコントローラアドオンがネイティブにサポートされていないことです。

I am not a golfer by any means but I do like to play the game. Hoping to get out in person to play at least once. I like the realism they have put into this game so much so that I am using it to practice before actually playing a real round with some friends. The visuals are so much better than that of the others as well. I don't feel like a cartoon character.
My only complaint is the lack of native support for controller add ons like HelloReal, DeadEye VR, etc.

このコースは、緑が多く、砂がない。ラフに入ったボールが何発もあり、通常ならアウトオブバウンズとして扱われるが、そのボールが落ちたところからプレーできるのはかまわないが、やはりアウトオブバウンズは必要だ。
ラフに入った場合、通常、1～2クラブアップして計算します。ただ、これはこのゲームでは関係ないようです。
今回はゲームプレイをより楽しめたので、星を1つ増やしましたが、ゲーム全体としてはまだまだ改善の余地があります。
ゴルフゲームは苦手だが、ゴルフのように遊べるゲームがしたい。

はあまりプレイしていません。やってみて、結構まともだと思った。スイングの反応も良さそうでした。グリーンのスピードが速すぎる（グリーンスピードを変えるオプションがあると良い）、でもロングパットも簡単に打てそう。他の方もおっしゃっているようにOBが多く、あまり歓迎されない。
コースはというと、私的には非常に淡泊な印象です。新しいコースを出すときは、もっと変化に富んだデザインにして、木々や池、平坦なだけでなく、丘などの景色もあるといいかもしれませんね。
このゲームを買ってから、あまり戻っていない。コースが1つしかない別のゴルフゲームを持っていて、もう1つ欲しくなったので購入しました。
もう1つ持っているバージョンはとても気に入っています。コースはあなたのものよりずっといい感じです。コースは、あなたのものと同じように、愚かなOBはありませんが、ゴルフのためのパーとしてまだそれの中に果たしている。 グリーンスピードも調整可能で、目の前に巨大なボードがあるわけでもない。コース上空を飛ぶこともできるし、ショットの視界を確保するために体を起こすこともできる。
また、アップデートがあればチェックします。

でも、このゲームは、私の不満とは裏腹に、ちゃんとしたゲームだし、クラブの反応も、私には、ちょうどいい感じだったので、また、アップデートされたら、来ようと思っています。
トーナメントでのグリーンスピードについては理解していますし、他のゲームと同じようにそれに合わせるのが私のためでしょう。
しかし、グリーンの速さを変えてプレイできることで、ゲームプレイのバリエーションが広がります。大きな木がある曲がりくねったコースでは、短く打ってフェアウェイに残るか、スライスしてラウンドするかを選択できるのと同じです。
アップデートを楽しみにしています。

Will hand it to you devs, the last 9 nines holes coming make the course a lot better then the first. Will probably start playing this more when i get the time. Feels real nice playing it. You obviously worked hard on it looks fantastic.
How you done any adjustments on the power of the shots?. Shots like say 50 yards using a 80 yard. You have to adjust the speed you hit it. Before I had it down pretty good, now when I try the ball goes a lot less then it used to.
That's not a complaint though. I will learn to adjust better over time.

Gave it another try with updates.
The new course looks better then the first one, lot more greenery and no sand.
It is nice to see the stupid out of bounds has gone, but maybe gone too far with it. I have hit some awful balls that has veered so far into the rough that it would be classed as out of bounds normally, although I don't mind being able to play from where it landed, you still have to have some out of bounds.
When in the rough, it will normally take a club or two up to account for it. But this just seems to not matter in this game.
Enjoyed the gameplay more this time and thus have put an extra star on the game, but still room for improvement in the game as a whole.
I am not great at golf games, but want to play a game that plays like golf does.

haven't played a lot. I tried it and thought it was quite decent. The swing seemed good and responsive. Greens ran way too quick(option to change green speed would be good) but also seemed too easy to put long putts on them. Like others have said the OB is silly and not welcome.
As for the course, it is very bland in my view. Maybe when you put out a new course, you could have a more varied design and trees, lakes and some sort of scenery, hills, not just flat.
I haven't really gone back to the game since I bought it. I got it, as I have another golf game with one course and wanted another one.
I love the other version I have. The course looks so much better then yours. It plays as good as yours, no silly OB,but still in it as par for golf. Adjustable green speeds and no silly giant board in front of you. You can flyover the course or just raise yourself to get a better view of the shot to make.
Will check it again when updates comes as I've read they are.

I forgot being able to change clubs via button press would be better. But that's just a preference for me.
I will come back when it updates because it is a decent game dispite my moans and felt the response of the clubs where just about spot on for me.
I understand about the green speed via tournament and like all games it would be for me to adapt to that as such.
However having the ability to play with different speeds of green makes more variation of gameplay. Same with having a bendy course with large trees, where you have the choice of laying it shorter to stay on the fairway or trying to slice it round.
