What an amazing surprise. I've seen puzzling places in the app store and didn't really find it interesting for VR. Then a friend of mine was talking about the haunted house that just came out and after seeing it was on sale, I went and purchased it. Was I surprised how amazing puzzling in VR really is. Not in a million years did I think I would love it as much as I do. I think within a few days, I spend hours on putting the puzzles together. So amazing to look inside after buildings are finished and seeing all the little details the Dev. put into these. Already got my husband hucked on it also. All I can say is BUY it and you will LOVE it too. Super relaxing and exciting at the same time
Possibly My Favorite VR App. I love puzzles, but I didn't think much of doing them in VR. When I saw the free trial, I thought I'd give it a shot. I immediately purchased the app, and I've been hooked ever since. It is so satisfying! The base app comes with plenty of puzzles, but I purchased all the extra puzzle packs during a sale. Even without the extras, Puzzling Places has plenty of puzzles in an assortment of categories.
I recommend Puzzling Places for all levels of players.
Really, really good. Without intending to, this has been the VR application in which we have invested the most time and the one we have enjoyed the most, and I say we, because my wife and I are always competing to see who assembles the model in less time, it is the only app with which we have drained the quest battery completely.
Best. I am disabled and I have chronic pain, so this is the highest compliment I can give any app. It is beyond gorgeous and building a puzzle in three dimensions uses almost every part of my brain so there’s nothing left to feel stressed or worried or even pain I can lose myself completely and building these gorgeous world heritage sites, this app is a must have it is relaxing and it almost lets you feel like a real tourist in an Alice in wonderland sort of way where you can look and see everything from all directions bravo to the app developers. This is what vr should be.
Unexpectedly my favorite game. I love this game way more than I expected. I have chronic pain, depression and anxiety. This game makes it easy to forget all that with the ambient sounds and satisfying clicking of the pieces when you put them together. My favorite puzzles are the buildings with hidden rooms inside. I can easily spend hours which is great (and not so great) as time seems to pass quickly while I'm playing. New puzzles are added monthly but I still worry that I will run out of puzzles... even though I am solving puzzles at the 400 pieces level. Maybe we need an option for an even higher piece level...or add a daily puzzle. I would gladly pay extra for this option. My least favorite puzzles? The everyday objects. I'm definitely addicted.
I love it! Include African sites. I've been doing this for a few months and my ONLY complaint is there are NO African sites or artifacts (okay, one listed a Poland) and that is a shame.
I'm definitely a puzzle nerd so I wasn't sure how I would feel about puzzling in VR but I am thrilled. I use the "simple" 40 for most of them after trying the 25 and 50 piece to start. I really enjoy the audio and the "click" when you put pieces together is so satisfying. I didn't find the tutorial very helpful but I figured out all of the tools. It is pretty intuitive once you get the 3d nature of it. I love the challenges and I take great pride in putting the puzzles together without looking at the images. Definitely recommended.
BUYER BEWARE. BEWARE!! This game is a HUGE time suck! Seriously, I have so much sh*t I need to do, but every single second that there’s not something I HAVE to do, all I’m thinking is, “maybe I can get a few more pieces placed.” Admittedly, I’m only on my third 400 piecer, so maybe the allure will wear off, but…I hope not. Honestly, if you like puzzles and your oculus, this game is a must.
Who need Therapy when u can use this app. The best thing since sliced bread. There really is no words to describe what this app does for the pyshicy of an individual. Not only is this app awesome, full of detail in both visual and sound but it is sooo destressing. A wonderful end to a hard day or any day for that matter. MUST HAVE
Absorbing. It took ages for me to finally buy this game. I don't think I've done a jigsaw since I was about 8, so I wasn't sure if I'd like this or not.
After completing Red Matter and the Room I was starting to get bored with VR... Puzzling Places is pretty much my sole reason for donning the headset now.
It's very immersive, the ambient sounds are great and the pieces clicking together is strangely satisfying.
I would love the developers to release a 'wonders of the world' pack... Or Egyptian pack I.e. pyramids, sphinx etc
Great use of VR technology. This is my top played app for VR. It's incredibly relaxing and beautiful. It's a great use of VR technology allowing us to solve puzzles that's only possible through VR. Each puzzle has a selection of piece amounts, so you can choose your difficulty for each one, and they are constantly adding new packs to keep things fresh. Love it!
Best App ever! Wow! This is the coolest app I’ve ever used! The graphics are fantastic and makes you feel like you’re right in there. There is so much detail in many of these puzzles…especially the ones that have inside spaces. So lifelike! And, the option of being able to select how many puzzle pieces you’re working with provides an opportunity to compete with yourself by starting out slow working only 25 pieces and gradually working up to 400 pieces! Very cool!
And, having multiple profiles is great and allows multiple users the ability to work at their own pace. My husband and I are retired and are always looking for things to do together, so we each have our own profile and then we have a profile that we work together. The “team profile” allows us to share this activity-it gives us something to do together. We select a 400 simple piece puzzle, which gives us 25 pieces at a time, and we each do 25 pieces, trading the headset after each 25 pieces so we each spend about 15-30 minutes working our own pieces without one person spending several hours on one puzzle. Seeing it grow and come alive after each 25 pieces is exciting! The finished 400 piece puzzle is typically huge and it’s so satisfying to see the very real, very detailed end result! We love it and find its a great way to spend a free afternoon!
I would love to see an option for submitting my own pictures, having the developers consider them for new puzzles!
Awesome app. I'll keep this review short. When I was a kid someone made a 3d puzzle. I love a good puzzle so the thought of 3d was exciting. The final product was a bit of a letdown to me. This game is what I imagined a 3d puzzle would kook and feel. It's a great game huge potential should they grab some licenses. If I could make a suggestion. Please do a pyramid pack. The 3d puzzle letdown of the giza pyramids is what started this for me. Great product guys. I'll be buying packs forever.
So satisfying ! I have been waiting a long time for this to come out, and it is as wonderful as I remember. The puzzles are beautiful, and the pieces snap together so well. The fact that we can choose how many puzzle pieces to play with is an added bonus. It’s a perfect wind down at the end of the day. Update: Finished all the puzzles available. Need more!!!!
Just purchased the January set of puzzles, but it won’t download for some reason. Any ideas why?
I am a huge fan of these puzzles and have purchased every package. I do find I am missing having the more complicated puzzles that have an inside and outside, or vast city scapes. Some of these are starting to get a little easy.
Relaxing puzzles in 3D. VR is all about action and blasting your way through levels...sometimes you just want to escape the chaotic real world. This comes with many free 3d puzzles where you can adjust the number of pieces depending on how much of a challenge you want. There is also the option to purchase a monthly pack if you are flying through them all quickly and desire more.

もう一つは、PvPモードです。同じ部屋にいる2人のプレイヤーが、BeatSaber Multi Modeのように、同じパズルを並列に解くことができます。早い者勝ちです。
私のささやかな、しかし熱烈な希望にご賛同ください!

Great! Wish for Multiplayer. Firstly, I really really enjoy this app. All my family have their own quest head sets and we play together in the same place or on-line. When I play puzzling place, I hope to share my great experience with my family. So I like to suggest some idea about multi-play mode.
One is co-op mode. Host makes a room with some code and the others are engage as observers. Only the host can do solving puzzle. Observers can only see, talk and make some pointing like laser pointer. The host can transfer host function to an observer at any time.
The other is PvP mode. Two players on same room can do solve the same puzzle each in parallel position like BeatSaber Multi Mode. The faster player wins.
Puzzles are better in VR. I do not enjoy puzzles in real life. I had to try this game because it was on sale and the amazing reviews. It truly is amazing and perfect for VR. Very polished and well done. The puzzles are great and you get so many. The sound is really good and relaxing. You can hear noises of pictures as you put them together. There’s something very satisfying about connecting every piece and not just the last piece. You get to pick how many pieces for each puzzle. I started with less and worked my way up. They have added many new free puzzles since I’ve own this. Thank you for that :)
Great game! I love this game and have subscribed to the monthly updates. One of my favorite parts of the game is the ambient sounds. I find that as I keep playing, the sounds get better and better and are unique to the locations. This game is super relaxing, and I play to help unwind after a busy day. I look forward to each monthly update. This is a go-to game for me. Thanks for making quality content!
One of the best relaxing experiences.25%. Puzzling places is one of the most relaxing experiences you can have in VR. Each puzzle even has sound and music from its scenery. If you like puzzles, then you will love it. 3D puzzles that you will hold in your hand and rotate freely. You can tackle puzzles from easy 25 or 50 pieces up to 200 and 400. There is an option to make the bigger one easier with 200 or 400 split into 50 pieces. You can use my code for 25% off, just remove the space:
Great App but one request. Fantastic way to stimulate your brain and have fun doing it. Great for putting in an hour or two of time on a lazy part of a day. One request: Add more puzzles that allow you to explore the interiors after you complete it. By far the most interesting puzzles are the ones by Finsterwalder/Balabanian/Rizzo who designed ones such as Tatev monastery or Khor Virap monastery. After completing the puzzle you can go inside the cathedral to see the altar or explore the catacombs and nooks and crannies to see what's in there and where they go. Superb. Some entrances are so narrow you have to close one eye to “get through” them. Very cool. I find myself going back to these long ago completed puzzles just to have another look around. Highly recommended!
