Cosmic Flow is a relaxing visual experience, an audio-visual massage for the mind, a kaleidoscopic meditation.
Cosmic Flow was developed by an artist as a first part of a series of VR experiences encouraging connection and personal expression. A relaxed mind is better able to understand and express itself. Cosmic Flow hopes to instill this feeling of relaxation so that, when the headset comes off, the feeling continues.

Cosmic Experience. After a very draining shift at work, I drank some butterfly pea tea and went up up and away. It was so relaxing I fell asleep with my headset on! Love this, look forward to watching it expand.
Won't install; jammed up headset. Install failed, and uninstall doesn't seem to be working, which means I can't update any of my current apps or download any new ones. Awesome. When are the clowns at Meta going to figure out a better system? It's pure garbage.
Library of Realities.com review:. Cosmic Flow is a skillfully crafted meditation app that only does one thing but does it very well, placing you inside a 360 degree visual abstraction that gently explodes and drifts around you.
A kaleidoscope of ethereal strands and small particles radiate out of a distant point, gradually cycling through multicolored permutations accompanied by a relaxing ambient soundtrack. Settings allow you to adjust the speed of the experience, your distance from the point of radiance and the intensity of the particles that surround you. It's also easy to reset your view in the headset, including any reclining angle and lying flat.
This is one of our favorite virtual reality meditation experiences. Possibly it could have benefited from a more diverse cycle of shapes and colors to increase the visual stimuli, though it's also possible that that could distract the viewer from this captivating experience.
The soundtrack is very pleasant, and of course you can also mute this in your device and use headphones to provide your own alternative soundscape.
We found three versions of Cosmic Flow offering slightly differing experiences. The Quest app and Viveport PCVR version have similar visuals, though the Quest version also includes an alternative soundtrack and the ability to draw some particles (called "tiny galaxies") around you. For the life of us we couldn't find a way to open up the settings in the Steam PCVR version so assume that's not available, also that PCVR version has a noticeably different visual pattern to the experience.

Great potential. Is great for what it is - and potential to be so much more.
Incredible! As a high school senior it's been stressful and tiring. Opened this app I've felt at peace and relaxed. Being able to control everything in this app, including creating galaxies with your controller, while you're mind is at peace feels breath taking, and it's all FREE!!! I highly recommend this for people that's stressed!
So relaxed I can hardly type this review. This is almost as good for my blood pressure as petting a puppy. One of my favorite areas is where the waves converge and the colors flow in all directions. I only have two wishlist items: 1. I'd like to be able to my own music tracks - harp or panpipes would be awesome with this experience. 2. I'd like to be able to adjust the colors, for instance pick a range of the spectrum or just one color in different shades, and also to use only deeper or brighter tones, depending on my mood. For me those two additions would push the app past perfection.
So simple and relaxing. This is the best app I've seen on Quest 2 for zoning out and relaxing! I immediately am fascinated and almost hypnotized by watching the shapes and colors. The fact that it is free is also wonderful. Thanks so much!
