Great work out. When I first played this drum game I did not realize how intense it truly is as I progressed thru the extensive list. The lower levels are a good warm up to prepare for the level 10 songs. The cardio reaches an intense point especially doing a level 10 , 12 minute long piece by Gloryhamner. Wow. Get ready to sweat. But one tip when you play this game don’t just swing your arms. Move back and forth use your hips and legs making it a total workout. You will work your core muscles to burn more calories. I am waiting for more selections I hope.
Best rhythm game so far. In my opinion, this is without a doubt the best rhythm game on Meta Quest 2. Nice graphics, a great set of songs, extremely addictive gameplay! And great multiplayer. I have only one problem with the leftmost drum, I can’t manage to set a comfortable height, such that the hammer does not fall in and at the same time it is comfortable to play. But perhaps this is just my subjective feature. The rest of the game is just great! I have tried almost every other popular rhythm game in VR, there are many good ones, but it is Ragnarock that I want to return to. Many thanks to the developers for the game and for regular updates! You are making a great product. I hope you continue to support it for a long time.
Beautiful Game For All Levels. This game is awesome! The gameplay ranges from complete beginner to I'll never be able to pass this with a gold medal even if I play for 30 years. The song lyrics are hilarious but not recommended for young children. This is my second favorite game on the Quest and I recommend it for everyone.
Best arcade game for me. Do you enjoy a thrilling adventure through the seas of music? Well this is for you. Captain a Viking ship using war drums & the Who Ra from your men-in-arms. Fast paced exiting adrenaline high from these songs that will tire you but make you always come back for more. Definitely recommend if you enjoy other arcade music games like beat saber or pistol whip. Definitely my favorite in this category. Maybe perhaps my dyslexia makes beat saber more difficult or the intense movement of pistol whip & HoloPoint build more of a sweat but this game takes focus to another level. Hope you enjoy, good luck
I love the game, however. this is a wonderful game, I have spent hours playing it cause it is addicting to slam those drums to the beats of some heavy metal tunes. I have run into an issue though, that or I may have misunderstood the assignment, the my precious achievement for getting all gold medals for volume 1 hasn't been acquired despite doing exactly that. I beat every volume 1 song on the hardest possible difficulty with gold on each, shall I have to beat every difficulty on every song with gold to earn the achievement? hopefully you take this info gracefully, the game is wonderful despite the issue, I would just like to see the rewards of my hard effort since this game is still very difficult, best to the devs and to you guy who reads the reviews
Awesome game, but not perfect. Being at the drums, on a ship full of vikings is awesome and the song library is really diverse. Drumming to songs about the sea or calls to battle makes you feel like you are truly part of battle hardened warrior party.
What doesn't make you feel like one is the fact that the game cannot log in, and when it does after restarting the Wifi connection and the game and clicking the login button several times, in multiplayer the game decides that the connection has timed out and you are kicked out of the song. I didn't notice issues with my internet connection with any other game or application I have, except for this, and pretty much every time I play this game.
If the networking would be put in place, I'd give it 5 stars, but right now, I'd say it's a 3.5 - 4.
It's great but . . . The latest Sabaton raid is overpriced. There are only 6 3+ minutes songs of which only two are bangers. With the Gloryhammer dlc there are only six, but at least one is over 10 minutes which adds a fun challenge. And it costs like 3 dollars less.
The new ship design is nice, but the new level design is. . . brown. Nothing against the color, just maybe a lackluster choice.
Anywho, I'm sure it's worth it if you get it in a bundle.
A new love in my VR journey. I recently started my journey in VR, I have tried sabers, zombies, pistols, powers of all kinds and Ragnarock has been by far one of my best experiences, you feel powerful guiding your fleet with the rumble of drums to the beat of the best soundtrack, this is simply sensational. I wish I wasn't so lazy to create a drum set (albeit out of cardboard boxes) to hit something real while playing and increase immersion.
This game rocks 💥💥💥. If you like music and VR, this game is must have. You will feel like leader of the boat and you can practice your drum skills on solo or multiplayer. Also if you want save some money , add me to friend and ask for it, or go to my insta
Cardio but actually fun. Like my title suggests: this game is awesome fun for those who love heavy metal, viking ships, beating some drums, or all of the above. After just a song or two, I can feel my heart race.
The only thing I'd ask for is some Power Wolf, but I recognize they don't necessarily fit the theme.
Khocolate. I have a bone to pick. This latest update touts playing your own custom music. You show directions on how to add your music in the folders. What you DON’T Say is all the computer work that has to be down before adding your music. It’s very misleading. A PC novice would have no idea on what has to be done as far as mapping and downloading tools. This should be stated before showing someone how to add music to their folders and thinking now you are ready to play your own music. Unfair and I’m not happy about this at all.
Unplayable due to latency. The game is unplayable over a 400+mbps wireless connection. You play a song at a low difficulty level with latency at 0 and none of the hits are in sync. At the end of the song, it tells you that your latency is -45. So you're instructed to go into the settings and set the latency to 45.
You do that and then play the same song over again and it still feels out of sync. The runes are not in line with the beats in the song. At the end of that song, it says your latency is -29. Is that on top of the 45 that you put in last time since "your" 45 is 0? Or do you throw out the 45 and change it to 29? No clue.
Backed all the way out once again and put 45 + 29 and that didn't help. I tried just 29 and that didn't help either. I get a new double digit negative number every time I play and no matter what I put in the latency box, it's still all out of sync. Ruins the game. And you don't get a latency number unless you play an entire song. I wasted all my gaming time today trying to get this in sync and it was no use.
This game needs a calibration system like Rock Band had. You clicked Calibrate and then you hit a drum for about 15 seconds in time with a metronome. This gave you your own latency setting, the game used that for the songs and there were zero latency issues.
In this game you're in a perpetual state of having to play the same song over again, backing all the way out to the settings, putting in numbers, going back, trying again, getting new numbers and repeating the process over and over with no good result. Very frustrating. There is no help for this on their Discord. Someone asked about this issue lately but no one replied.
This is my favorite game! I haven't played for a while, but I put the headset on a few nights ago because I missed this game, and I was flailing around saying, "Why are there chickens here!??" and laughing and poking them. It was hilarious...to me lol. Seriously, though, this game is the best of all the drumming games. The music is so fantastic, the challenge is fun, the workout is great. This old lady is happy. I am going to buy some extra packs, but just as it is, this game is worth it. Thank you, Devs!
Amazing. I thought this game was going to be a cheap knock off of like beat saber or something like that and it is 1 million times better! Especially if biking and pirate rock is more your style! It is so fun! You can play solo or race against other people. It’s super interactive and you can change almost everything from your avatar to your ship. You have tons of options for your character and can earn different hammers. There are 3 levels to choose from on each song. The included some packs are actually really good! And then you can purchase additional ones for a good price. Hands down best music game I’ve ever played
