Game, not a workout. Fun and immersive as a game. Not a good calorie burner game for me. The targets appear very quickly in succession, meaning i can't move my arms in a way to burn more calories.
Better than the very favorite of masses. Great experience, a lot of possibilities, tons of fun with enough cardio to benefit your health... and free! What else do you want?
Need it !! Ok let me just say this demo is packed with replay ability in just this demo you get like 10 songs and plenty of options to increase the Difficult one song feels like you just came out of a boxing match.. in a club haha the game is really fun and imo way better then beat saber definitely on my list to buy asap I wish more games had demos like this not everything but enough to have a blast and want more this demo definitely sold me big props to the devs
Plenty of fun for a Demo. I'm very new with the Oculus, not even 2 weeks at the time of this review, but by now is the game we've played the most with my girlfriend, and I'm sure it will be for some time. After playing the Beat Saber Demo on our first day with the Oculus, we were blown away and search for other games of that kind. And then I found this gem. The Beat Saber demo only has one song and one difficulty. But this demo has 6 o 7 songs and various combinations of difficulties, modes, so in the long term it's more enjoyable than the other. And I'm sure, when I finish paying tmy debts, I will be buying the full version, not only because I liked but also as a way of say thanks for so many hours of fun. One advise, have a towel near, because it will make you sweat a lot. Every time I use it, I have to clean the Oculus after 3 or 4 songs. One thing I'd love in this demo, would be to save the records, at least locally, to compete with others or at least have an Idea of how we did before. Other than that, no complaints.
amazing!!! not only is this the best rhythm game on oculus- period- but they know how to do a demo the right way! i was immediately hooked, as well as convinced to buy the full version! i couldn't stop playing even though i was getting the workout of the century, and that alone has me SOLD! But it's sooooo much fun and has the option for custom songs? absolutely yes. thank you for creating this masterpiece!
Great demo but no discount. I enjoyed this more than Audio Trip - more dancy less work-outy. And when I saw in the demo that Synth Rider is currently 40% off I rushed to the store to get it... only it isn't. It's 40% off on Steam, but this is an Oculus Quest demo and it's not 40% off for the Quest.
My only complaint has to do with the rails. When I ride a rail even if im not on target it glows and I get tactile feedback. This breaks immersion somewhat. Feedback, audio queues and glow should only activate while on the rail. Not a deal breaker but it does take me out of the moment sometimes. 4.5 stars overall and very close to perfect.
Having a demo for a game = awesome. Just wanted to mention how nice it is to have a demo with full gameplay (difficulties and genres), so you can try to see if you want the game. Let's remind develops that we like this option! And also - oculus, it will be great to remove/archive games/demos, so they don't show in your main app list.

Best demo. Shows all difficulties like in full game and has a good play through
Better than Beat Saber. Absolutely phenomenal, with brilliant music and with four types of spheres versus Beat Saber's two cubes. My only complaint is that the settings option to switch to left-handed menu navigation is a bit unnecessarily buried, but otherwise this is truly the best music rhythm game for the OQ2!
Free demo with real content. Get a feel of synth riders with a variety of songs and all difficulties; very meaty demo. If you like it get the game a and near endless songs worth custom beatmaps.
Best music game for Quest. I keep playing the demo on my Quest 1. (sadly not enough money to buy the full game... yet). Very well done. Like the many demo songs to play, especially the Cyberpunk and Electroswing ones). So, heres 5 stars for Synth Riders.
