Great app. Love the app, bought it for my grand too . More updated contemporary furniture choices needed. Also, no way to create circular bump outs. Or glass walls used as dividers. And the bugs, that stops you from hanging lights. Ohh and being able to do outdoors too. Pool, outdoor kitchen etc. P.S Why is it so hard to place stairs, I’ve been able to build one house that allowed me to place stairs. Not the stairs I choose either. This build I can’t put them anywhere. Please do a tutorial solely on how to place the stairs. P.S sorry to keep adding to the review. But I love the game. I love the fact that we can sit in chairs and beds, sometimes the bed is solid when I sit on it, other times it’s just the outline. If everything can be solid when sitting on it. Would give it the realistic feeling of sitting on actual furniture. Also, hate to mention other games. But in house flipper VR, (don’t like the game, but some features are great) your able to turn water on and play instruments. If eventually that could be incorporated that would be great. Feb.1, 2024. The game seems to be getting worst, it always freeze , there’s no new decor for the houses. And everytime i enter, there’s a error message. So each time i have to re-enter all my information. Really had high hopes for this game.
Too Basic To Be Useful For Serious Work. I had questions about the app and customer support was horrible. They seemed very incompetent and basically just sent me to YouTube to do my own research about their product. When I persisted in getting answers, they sent me false information and sent me on a wild goose chase. I finally recorded a video of my question and sent it to them. I didn't hear anything back from them for a long time until after the return window was closed.
My question was about roof tools and how to make a shed style roof as well as how to specifically set dimensions on walls. One question was not answered regarding setting dimensions, and here was the final reply about the roof tools:
"We are sorry for confusion and delay, on the VR version of App these is no roof tool/object for now, our teams work to add more options and we hope we can add lot off new features soon, but for now no roof in VR sorry."
Please don't spend the money as I did. It's a gimmick, very few features, the user experience is just not there. Like even building a wall of a specific height is as far as I can see not possible (you need to select predefined heights). And the price is insane..

I have been looking for this for years. Finally found a super easy pick up and design/visualize in 5 minutes VR app. The only complaint I have is that the max floorplan is limited to a square design of 20m x 20m (tiles)I think. I happen to have a very narrow house with a shop space of 5m x 36m. So this was not possible to draw up and visualize. I hope the devs read this and limits the design by tiles and not by shape. Recommended app!
Good tool with aot of rough edges. The program felt amazing the first time I used it. But the more and the more seriously I want to use it, the more it makes me upset.
It starts with the layout, the minimum grid size is 0,25m, bad luck if a room is 4,4m. The UI is confusing when you want to open doors, scale or rotate objects etc. Why is there no snap feature to rotate objects by 45, 90,...whatever degrees or why can't I enter the dimensions of objects numerically? I must adjust them with the fidely vr tools.
And last but not least, with the quest 3 the graphics look underwhelming. Better lightning, shadows etc would improve the quality so much, I don't need real time shadows but maybe allow users to bake the lightning when they want to.
Fun but frustrating product. I concur with others who say that this is a well-designed product that suffers from an incomplete implementation. It has an acceptable interface that allows you to build a structure and walk through it, but it can be confusing. Once mastered, it provides the power to build, modify, and equip your construction. Unfortunately, the implementation is incomplete. One flaw is the grid system, which only supports a few scales. The set of objects is limited, as is the ability to modify their attributes. There are a few serious flaws. The UI attempts to prevent you from placing objects where they can't fit, forcing you to place them somewhere they can fit, resize them, and then move them. It would be far better if it resized the objects to fit the space. There is a rudimentary sharing system where you can publish your designs, but I couldn't find a way of deleting my published design. I found instances where the UI would not let me build a room despite the fact that there was plenty of space. Staircases are used to connect floors, but I could not resize mine to fit my actual house, so I had to build an extra room just the to hold the stairs so I could navigate between floors. The relationship of this product to other offerings from the same company is unclear. I would gladly buy the more powerful PC or mobile versions of the product if I could then render the objects I created in them in VR. The product supposedly supports the import of a jpeg to build your structure on top of a blueprint, but I couldn't figure out how to accomplish that. The product needs an expanded help system. All in all, this product has the potential to provide a useful and fun experience, but for the moment, it has significant shortcomings that can make its use quite frustrating. I hope they improve it.
Good idea ruined by awful implementation. This app just does everything to anger you from the moment you open it:
- horrible login implementation, not that I should even have to create an account. Server errors, poor field input, fb connection requires another device. Nearly gave up there.
creating a room is like pulling teeth, now have this hollow dull pain in my gut it’s so bad and frustrating. Draw walls in .5m increments? Can’t adjust roof height. Scale in one way here and a totally different worse way in the room.
select a door, can’t change handle position. Default height is 2.4m😂 can’t change colour. put a 3 pane window in, it puts a different one in.
I put a sofa in and tried to rotate it, surprise, different method again to rotate. Why can’t your scale gizmo just handle rotation too?
Sorry but this is just awful. Shame as I would love to be able to design layouts for my house, but this app is not fit for purpose.
Crashes Fixed - So far So good. Have recently come back to this after initially being unable to do anything due to bugs. Also now on Quest 3 so not sure if that's why I can actually play this now. Have only really dabbled a bit in creating a Garage conversion and it's very useful for visualising the layout of a space.
Could be a lot better with additions like wall panelling, RGB light strips/changing the colour of lights, PC monitors and cases, etc, etc. But ultimately it gets the job done and lets you vaguely see what a finished room could look like before you starting your project in the real world.
Could be great but just isn't. While it is fun to create the floorplans, many things hold back what could be an even better game. It is really neat to walk through a home you built, but the objects provided are too limited by style and color and they can't be altered enough to make them coherent together. There are also scaling issues but luckily we are allowed to correct this freely. I often fight with this game when rotating an object because it'll snap into the wrong rotation immediately and often. For the price though, it is a slightly positive experience hence the 3 stars.
Has potential, but... I bought this as I am currently in the process of designing an extension for my house. I though this would be a great way to visualise how the extension could look, and help us make some decisions on size / layout etc. However, I didn't realise the app currently doesn't let you add a roof, or cut into walls (whilst leaving a lintel). So whilst I can see the potential, it doesn't work for what I bought it for. If they could add a feature to include roofing / vaulted ceilings, then it would be great. Also that specific meaurement snapping is currently too limiting - would be good to be able to set your own custom size.
Basically useless. Not able to use exact measurements for rooms and imported projects are losing their measurements and are to large or to small. Editing wall measurements in imported projects is also not possible
Lots of Potential. There’s a lot potential for this. Nice way to channel your creative energy in 3 dimensions, in a relaxing way. Look forward to updates. Keep up the good work devs :-)
Love building. I love to create and build homes, I could spend hours doing this. I have a few suggestions. I think the ability to design landscape, flowers, trees, and water features. Add on features like farmhouse style, contemporary, boho, modern contemporary. I would pay to add some of these features.
I should have listened to the reviews. I told myself,...it can't be as bad as the reviews are making it out to be. It is,...it really is. If you buy this,...you are the beta tester. I'm guessing this game has 3 programmers at most working on it part time. Or maybe it's just a cash grab because this genre is empty in the VR space. Whatever the truth,...this thing is horrible and years away from being ready. I'm not even going to waste time listing everything wrong with it,....it's all been said in past reviews. You could make the graphics comparable to unreal engines best settings and the limitations of controls/customization would fail it. Meta is failing with adults. This crap is cool for a 9 to 12 year old,...but not an adult trying to develop something seriously. And 1000% I'm sure the 3 developers and other sarcastic people would say "what do you expect from a 12 to 20 dollar game." Which sucks because I'd pay $100 if this thing wasn't so low budget/high school senior project quality.
Great start. Needs wood beams, four poster beds, floor and table lamps that turn on, pebble texture for shower, glass shower doors, pocket doors, wainscoting, chandeliers, more stand alone tubs, indoor pool and spa with waterfall features, curved and split stairs, railings, closet organizers, and maybe an ocean view.
Good concept, hard to use. Love the idea. I wanted to put my home in VR and test some layouts for my new bathroom. This works for the most part, but the oddest things are very limiting. For example, the blueprint perspective only allows the grid to be made of squares 10" or 1'8". What's that about? Since I use feet or half feet, I have to recalculate every measurement for real world application. But I can't place walls off those grid lines.... So having a 3' hallway is impossible, I'm stuck with either 2'6" or 3'4. After a couple rooms and halls and closets, I'm very off throughout the space. Also can't build walls closer than about 30" from another, so boxing out the corner 4'x2' ductwork that runs from floor to ceiling is impossible, I have to make it nearly a foot larger (since I also have to put it in increments of 10" or 20") which throws off the hallway by quite a bit, which throws off my bathroom, etc. Or the shallow 2' closet I have, or the alcoves in my wall that are recessed 1.5', all of which is frustrating. Other limitations exist but these are such odd issues to have.
Awesome game. Can design for hours. It is so fun. Feeds my architect wired mind. Allows me to put my ideas and mental images on the vr. Thank you for this wonderful game. Hoping in the future you can purchase add ons with more options, like selections on outside envirnment, oustide landscaping, add on furniture for inside and outside etc...
A good idea. Honestly, I wanted to like this app. I was thinking of redecorating and this seemed the perfect app to play around with ideas. It took me a week to figure out the glitch where this app has two identical websites and registering at only one of them works to connect to a Quest 2. Support is non-existent and I spent a whole week unable to log into the app I purchased. Should have returned it. Controls are a bit glitchy. I started by trying to find a plain sliding window and could find nothing but fussy designs. Seems like limited objects to work with. The tutorials are a bit random and not well organized. Interface isn't bad. My star rating could go up or down after I gather enough enthusiasm to try again to create in the app, especially if I find a workaround for when the app doesn't have an object selection anything like what I want. I want to like this app.
Great but has flaws. This game really appealed to me, it was just what I was looking for. Years ago I used to play The Sims, but I was more interested in building and decorating the houses rather than letting The Sims move in, so I was happy when I saw this. I enjoy the building from the ground up, creating all the rooms, decorating and furnishing it all, tweaking it to be how I want it to be. The things I don't like are when it crashes and you have to go out of the game and back in and hope that it's OK when you go back in again. I wish there were a bigger selection of decorative items to choose from, more things to put on the walls for decoration and things to add to the rooms like kitchen items, chopping boards with food, things you can actually put inside the open view cupboards etc, more appliances like toasters, airfryers etc, in fact for every room like bedrooms, bathrooms, living rooms etc. All the things that make it look like a home and not just a show home. I would also like to be able to add finishes to the outside walls, bricks, paths, and even a bit of gardening stuff to totally give the project an added edge. The main thing that I find really annoying is when I return to my project the next day and some of my doors and windows have just vanished even though they were there the day before when I left the game having got it to how I would like it. This means that anyone in the community that I shared it to will see it and think "this person has done a room but you can't get into it, mad fool". I would like to see the glitches fixed so my projects can stay how I intended them to be. Sometimes it won't even let you put them back in again, this really annoys me after all my hard work. All in all it's a great game and definitely passes the time, but it would be even better if the glitches were rectified to stop things just disappearing into thin air.
