I love the zone. I really love the twilight zone. Rod serling is a hero of mine. I love the weird, off beat feel this game has. It feels like the classic series meets modern technology. I have really loved replaying, and the dlc for Halloween was really appreciated. A very unique game, for a very unique show. I hope their is a part 2 or maybe even more dlc would be appreciated. I'm sure Mr, Serling would have been intrigued and delighted by this game

The 80s Movie Was Better. I don’t know what it is with franchise VR games but they never actually capture the essence of the franchise they’re supposed to be portraying. This one for example. The first “episode” is… eh… something. It’s honestly the best one in the game because it’s actually about a bad person who get their comeuppance. But the gameplay is annoying and repetitive and completely lacks any heart. It’s just a basic ai chasing you around a musty building for 30 minutes.
The second and third episodes can be summed up by “there was a normal person…and then something WEIRD happened…and they did something about it…”
The 2nd episode is just a crappy shooter with an even crappier storyline. They were trying for psychological horror but it quickly devolves into the cheesiest thing I’ve ever seen.
The 3rd episode is just “Into The Radius” if it was made by someone hitting a computer with a wrench and calling it a game.
It’s barely fun to play so if it ever goes on sale for less than $10 it’s worth it, but otherwise PLEASE don’t waste your money.
Lazy; Complete Misunderstanding of Show. Like many, I'm a huge fan of The Twilight Zone, however this game is nothing like it. The only resemblances are the use of its name and theme in the introduction, along with using Rod Serling's opening monologue.
Outside of that, this game is a really lazy set of 3 survival horror games (really bad ones). The first chapter is like a terrible browser game version of Alien Isolation but with terrible AI and annoying respawn points for the enemy. It uses a gimmick of using your own voice to taunt you but it gets old instantly. The 2nd chapter is a bad shooter where you use something like a potato gun that's extremely tedious to play and you die and start over if you miss. Didn't even bother with the other 3rd but reviews show or say it's more of the same lazy shooting and stealth mechanics.
The controls and options are also terrible in this game. You walk insanely slow and can't change your walking speed in the settings. You can sprint but only for a short period of time before running out of breath. This makes this game even more tedious to get through. Also no other gameplay options so this bad gameplay can't even be made easier to get through the story. Expect slogging through miserable gameplay just to experience the story.
The stories themselves are also trite and completely out of touch with the show and anything Rod Serling wrote. There's nothing "mind-bending" about any of it, it's typical tropes like alien abductions, post apocalypse, lawnmower man nonsense. The Twilight Zone is not generic horror (which is what this game relies on) and the game should've been more of an interactive episode of the show, not lazy stealth and shooting mechanics.
This is an easy skip and sadly wasted opportunity for an IP that has a lot of potential for VR experiences.
Rod Serling at its best!!! Absolutely love it. I don’t want it to end. Guns in chapter 3 are not great for long shots so having hard time, but I’m just gonna have to use stealth and get closer. You have to keep in mind it’s Twilight Zone. Cannot stress this enough. This game is fantastic. Don’t hesitate…buy it!
The runtime was really short. I really love the voice actor, Rod Sterling and the first chapter, but the rest was really boring, and the runtime was 1 hour and 33 minutes, and there's no extra chapters or expansions.
Twilight Zone. It’s not often I buy a game that I can’t find at least some entertainment value but I finally reached that pinnacle when I bought The Twilight Zone. Being old enough to remember the TV show , I was expecting something that resembled it. I was wrong. After about 4 tries to understand what I was supposed to do in the game, I started to progress, but not very far. Out of frustration, I deleted the game.
I tried to like it. I’m a fan of the show and I’m open minded to many games. I can’t recommend this one as it seemed like they came up with some good stories for the chapters, but didn’t know how to execute those into fun gameplay.
The monsters in chapter 2 seem like someone just learned how to make enemies in a game. Granted the big ones that appear out of the ground can give a jumpscare.
Chapter 3 had a cool premise, but it was really short. The house part was kind of cool.
This game made me have motion sickness which does not happen often to me in VR. I changed all of the options to adjust the comfort level, but still didn’t find a way to fix it.
I did beat the game just to get it over with and tried to get some enjoyment out of it.
Good luck with future games that you make as I’m sure you will improve.

A chore to get through. Update: After my initial review below, I'm lowering my score to a mere two stars. The first episode was so-so. The second one was a chore. Remember Ground Hog Day? Bill Murray's weatherman re-living each day hundreds -- maybe thousands -- of times with slight variations? You'll get a sense of what he went through when you play this game... and it's not fun at all. Scenes play the same way over and over until you find the right combination of button mashing and moves to advance the story forward. There are glitches... in the second ep one scene kept repeating the same few seconds over and over and nothing I did would kill the creatures, nor advance the scene. In another glitch the phantom girl I was chasing was frozen at the top of a ladder. The 'twist' ending was underwhelming. The graphics are sometimes okay, but mostly well below standard for an 'escape room' type game. I've started the third story just to get my money's worth, but it seems as repetitive as the first two. The least interesting game I've played on my Quest.
My initial impressions... Good intro which calls back to the original series. Lots of murky visuals meant to enhance the atmosphere, but also serve to somewhat disguise the cartoon-y visuals. The control system is the biggest frustration. It's simple enough to learn, but it stops working randomly. While the creature is elsewhere, I'll stand and sprint using the joystick as directed. It works... until it doesn't. I'll suddenly stop running and be pinned in place, unable to do anything til the creature sees me and gets me. Is the game glitchy? Wating for graphics to load? Does the game deliberately slow the gameplay down to artificially extend overall gameplay? Who knows?

まあまあだ。それなりに楽しめるし、VRホラーの入門編としてはいいゲームだ。

It's alright. It's enjoyable for what it is, and it's a good entry-level game for VR horror.
It's alright. While the game is pretty fun ngl, it doesn't feel replayable at all. This may have changed due to the fact that I got the game when it first came out and haven't played it since I finished, but from my memory it wasn't as good as I had imagined
