Love the game. I don’t know what’s wrong but, I bought the ball holder but they won’t open for reactor 4. I also bought ball speed but, I can’t use it because they’re coming too fast because my back holder’s not working and not I don’t have enough money to slow the balls down. I don’t have any more task to complete for money, so I’m just stuck
Top-ten Match-3 Puzzler. This game is underrated. Rainbow Reactor: Fusion offers a cozy and accessible VR experience in a single-player campaign puzzler. Keep the reactor from exploding and have a bunch of fun while doing it. 5/5 in my opinion - this game is wholesome, quirky, and worthy of a spot in your library.
Very good surprise !!! I 've got so much game with my Quest, i 've never pay attention for this game. But today 21/12/2022 I decided to try it, what a great surprise, i really love it. I Hope devs don't give up this game and still update it
Loving this game, have a question. Where in gods name do you find the water for the steam gun? I have been looking for days and I know it’s so simple because she tells me I should know where it is and I don’t. So can somebody please help me
Simple Laid Back Fun. I really enjoyed this game, it felt like playing bust-a-move/Puzzle Bobble but better. The later levels offer more challenge meaning you won't breeze through them on your first try, probably. If you get frustrated and want to walk away from a level for a bit there are areas that need cleaning which sounds boring and probably is to a lot of people but I found upgrading to the better equipment to be a fun distraction from the main objective of the game. I've played 80+ games on the Q2 since getting it about eight months ago and I would place this game in my top ten, definitely recommend it to anyone.
Underrated game. Very good, but underrated game. I enjoy the well made story, the environment, the puzzles and the match 3 game with throwing balls. It deserves more attention.
Pretty good game. Good game! It's a bit complicated and confusing tho, probably just me lol the balls are really fun to throw and I really like the story so far "Pretty good. For a human" 😂. I really like the way Dottie is, it's amazing lol
Motion sickness 🤮. I really should read the negative reviews sometimes cos now it turns out I wasn’t the only player feeling the effects of motion sickness. I’ll try again later using the suggestions made by the developer, but for right now I need a bucket and a bed. Hopefully I’ll be able to move around easily like in “The Room vr”. From what I could play, the game started off well. I managed to solve one or two problems in story mode without difficulty, but having to search and find items caused me to move around a lot and that’s what done me in. But I’ll be back to try again.

Simple and satisfying. Rainbow Reactor is a mashup of match-3 style games, and real life “tossing” games like cornhole or bocce ball, or even beer pong. The game is a very simple concept, but the challenge ramps up as new elements are added in slowly.
Colored balls come down slides, and you need to pick them up and toss them into the arena to match 3. But you can combine multiple colors to create new ones. The story mode is fun, but there’s also an arcade mode to get right into the action.
Tossing the balls feels better than it has any right to. I recommend trying this game.
Enjoying it. This is the 1st VR game that I've played that has movement. I just got the VR set a few days ago. Not gonna lie made me feel a bit queasy when I 1st moved and I was standing I quickly sat down, it was that or I was going to fall on the floor😂. I didn't make it very far as I was balancing out moving in game and not falling in real life. I love this game already. It truly feels like you're in the game, even the movement that made my brain and legs disconnect😂. That said I docked a star because when I went to play it the other night, my progression wasn't saved so it started me off from the beginning. I had just gotten off a 15 hr shift at work and just wanted to enjoy a few minutes of the game. Couldn't bring myself to start over even though I wasn't very far in. Waiting for my next day off to try it again.
I wish it worked correctly. First off, there is zero instructions on how to play. So after 15 min of random button pressing I went to the lab. Nothings powered on. Not even a tutorial? Wtf? Ok to the arcade. I grab a fuse. It’s an important piece. It’s on my belt. I can’t grab it anymore? I have no access to it. Can’t pick it up. Ball throwing is broken. I can grab with my left hand but it won’t let me throw it. I can drop it tho, resulting in strikes. That sucks. I have to play right handed. Ok I throw righty so that fine untill the second round you have to catch the balls rolling down the chute. I can catch it with my left hand but can’t throw it. Major glitch. Once the round ends it says “go to the store for sone power ups” Great? Nope! No idea where the “store “ is. The game just kinda stops and your left feeling helpless. Pushing the red start button just resets the gane. Did the game end on round 4 after I used all my strikes? You would think VR developers would try to help you in this brand new world of gaming. Nope not here. Your totally on your own. And THAT SUCKS. I’m on the fence of refunding.
Addicting! I love that the game lets me set my own pace! I can play the story mode, explore the building, and do some tasks like smashing boxes, cleaning up or do some puzzles and then when I'm in the mood I can throw some balls. But I can simply fire up Arcade Mode too and get right into the game. The accurate throwing mechanics really give a new dimension to match-3, literally. Whichever way, it's a fun, relaxing experience, that I can make as challenging or as easy as I like with the modifiers. I'm also glad the devs added a teleport mode in the watch menu for my girlfriend.
Atmosphere and challenging together. It has a great atmosphere an is challenging in one row. Great german and english synchro with funny videos on the start and tutorial stations im curios in what direction it goes next time i play
Great timekiller! Such a cool game with great throw feel / mechanics. In many ways it hits the sweetspot of VR gaming. Story mode is just a perfect blend of exploration and humor. Figures Dottie made me clean floors on a saturday afternoon.. Most played game in our family, and to be honest I returned one of the top seller games (Pop1), this was a superior experience. Now if I could just get some extras from dancemoves done while throwing the chromaballs.. maybe in the next update?
Lovely Game. If you are into match 3 games and want to experience it in vr you will really enjoy it. Nice and crisp graphics and a well balanced learning curve. Its getting quite challenging from reactor 5 on. Dottie is a nice cute but sarcastic teacher :D If you are into puzzling games its a steal for the money :)
Can recommend in good conscience. Rainbow Reactor: Fusion has kept all aspects which made its predecessor enjoyable and expanded upon them. I had previously had performance-related issues when using the Rift S, though now using the Quest 2 it runs superbly well. Not once have I had a loss of performance that would detract from the experience.
Unlike perhaps some other reviewers here, I do not have extensive experience with broadly puzzle-type games. However, I can therefore say that the game mechanics are intuitive to learn. That is to say, the game is very forgiving to entering without knowing about said mechanics and a learning-by-doing approach.
The design of the game, where one must through « chromatic balls » into a reactor, which has a nearer and a farther section works well, as it allows more confident players to achieve complex « reactions » further away and players with less motor fine skills such as myself to focus their efforts in the section in front of them.
In Fusion, it is now possible to « walk » whereas one was previously restricted to teleportation-type movements. This, along with the manually controlled elevator leads to a greater sense of immersion in the powerplant, which now feels quite vast. In fact, the combination of a hazy industrial town background of the early twentieth century with having to work « shifts » leads to an enjoyable sense of melancholy.
The spoken lines by the player's micromanaging superior, Dottie, are well done. They are occasionally funny, mostly matter-of-fact and occasionally annoyed about some circumstance. This builds an atmosphere allowing the player to leave a sense of solitude as they go about their work otherwise.
I would recommend purchasing and playing Rainbow Reactor: Fusion. It is an enjoyable and unique experience. What issues may arise can easily be brought to the developer's attention through their social media channels where they are very responsive.
Great, relaxing game. Great mixture of "match 3" with a twist and puzzle adventure gameplay. Has absolutely the best throwing mechanics I witnessed in any VR game so far (and I have played quite a lot). The visuals are quite simple but look great nonetheless. The sense of height inside the building is really fun and exciting. I also loved the German voice of Dotti by GamingLadyNici! ;-) As so often, I wish the story mode was a bit longer, but there are still some "side missions" to do, like finding all the fuses etc. Played on "normal" difficulty and found it relatively easy, yet relaxing - which is a plus for me!
Love the game but is glitching at the mo. Used to play it on Steam and was so happy that it came to Quest. I love the game, very addictive but will need some work done. When playing level 5 or 6, the game glitches, either I don't get any more balls or Dotty thinks the game is still going when I finished the round already. Hopefully an update will fix this, then I would easily give it 5 stars.
