2020年のパンデミックが人命や医療システムに与える影響を抑えるために、科学者たちがどのように戦略を立てたのか、不思議に思ったことはありませんか？Prisms社のPandemicは、指数関数の永続的な流暢性を構築し、代数的思考を今日の最も重要な問題の1つである世界的なパンデミックに適用することができる代数学習ゲームです。パンデミックの背景にある科学を扱うわけではありませんが、重要な公衆衛生問題について十分な情報を得た上で意思決定を行う方法を理解するための基礎的な代数スキルを身につけることを目的としています。
今回のPandemicのベータ版は、最終版のリリースと9月のPrismsのAlgebraライブラリのリリースに向けて、フィードバックを集め、認知度を高めることを目的としています。Algebraコースには、線形関数、四則演算、指数（Pandemic）、方程式系、統計の5つのモジュールが含まれています。
Have you ever wondered how scientists developed strategies to limit the impact of the 2020 pandemic on human lives and health systems? Pandemic by Prisms is an algebra learning game that builds lasting fluency with exponential functions and allows you to apply algebraic thinking to one of the most important problems today - the global pandemic. While it does not deal with the science behind pandemics, it is designed to equip you with foundational algebra skills to understand how to make informed decisions about a critical public health issue.
The purpose of this beta launch of Pandemic is to gather feedback and spread awareness of its final release and of Prisms' full Algebra library launch in September. The complete Algebra course will include 5 multi-part modules on the topics of linear functions, quadratics, exponentials (Pandemic), systems of equations, and statistics.

- 素晴らしい教育的作品。
本当に楽しかったです。実社会の問題、インタラクティブな要素、素晴らしいビジュアライゼーションにより、このアプリは数学をより消化しやすく、楽しいものにしています。少し短いので、もっと欲しい気もしますが、それでもお勧めします!

Great educational piece.

Seriously impressive piece of software!
The tools that are developed are simple to operate, very intuitive. The integration of video and narration is really well done. I see great future for it. It's a really solid base to expand on.
Needs a bit more work on polish and being mindfull of playspace limitations.
But seriously I'm impressed. Usually those types of apps are incredibly dull. Doubly so if I already understand it. But there is a joy of discovery here. I really hope that at some point I'll be able to use it to learn new things myself.投稿者：Przemo-c

Solving the Pandemic.
I bought Pandemic to add some math education to my son's VR screen time during the lock-down and it was a hit. He was intrigued by the game's "mission" which was to develop pandemic containment models using exponential functions to stop the spread. The experience was relevant and "real" and the game play got progressively harder which kept my son engaged. He's pretty critical of "learning games" but this experience was different. He completed the modules, mastered the algebra functions and successfully contained the spread!投稿者：Gambanimal413

先週、この体験版をプレイしましたが、個人的にはペースが少し遅く感じましたが（説明されている概念をすでに理解していたこともあります）、指数関数がどのように機能するかを把握する必要がある学生に、抽象的な数学的概念を教えるための非常に価値のあるツールであることが想像できます。

Teaching tool with a lot of potential.
I played through this experience last week - and although the pacing felt a bit slow for me personally (in part because I already understood the concept that was being explained), I can imagine this being a very valuable tool to teach abstract mathematical concepts to students who still need to grasp how exponential functions work.

My son struggles with Algebra.
I’ve been looking for a tool to help him. He loves games and this looked good for a reasonable price. I was nervous that he would not try it.
It took only about 3 min and he was lost in the experience. He went back in the next day and is still talking about it. His friends are in it now too.
