Heroism in battle is traditionally celebrated with a statue. Every day, the staff at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital witness extraordinary bravery from kids battling cancer and other life-threatening diseases. Yet these unsung heroes haven’t been celebrated at the scale they deserve. Now, thanks to virtual reality, we’ve changed that. The St. Jude Hall of Heroes is a celebration to the inspiring strength of its young patients – by turning them into 60 feet tall statues. The Hall of Heroes is a magical world consisting of floating islands connected by portals. Each island contains statues that represents a story, a battle, a team, and at the center a young patient. You can wander freely among the statues, jump up for a closer look, and hear the inspirational stories behind each one, narrated by those closest to them.
Lacking content. This experience only has statues with limited motion and a horrible sitting experience. There was no stories or experiences involved only statues to view.
To the development team, please add content and stories to go with the visualizations so they don’t go wasted on those who download the app. Personally I would love to download this app and be moved. Although currently, I downloaded the app and just felt lost in why it was created in the first place. Please ask for more funding if that is what is stopping the team from making something compelling because there is so much potential surprisingly with this experience.

It makes me sad. The app is very good and heartwarming. Thank you.
Bad design. the stories are REALLY good but the design is terrible there is no way of moving while sitting down your hands dont have much movement, i hate teleportation you can slide move, i was having troubles just starting it, and so many other things that is wrong with it. Thats the only reason why it gets 2 star is because of the design the stories again, really good but not the design it makes it hard to even stay
So Moving And Is A Must Have. My Grandma Had Cancer (She’s Cured Now) So It’s Close To My Heart, And This Is A Must Experience, I’m So Proud Of St Jude And All They’re Doing
"No, YOU are crying!". Technically not that interesting, but listening to the stories was very moving and I had to listen to them all. Afterwards I went to their homepage and donated money. Yep. That moving :)
Inspiring. Very well executed but much more than that it inspires and restores hope. Countless stories I found myself fighting back tears. I’m not typically a big softy but it touched my heart to hear the story of these children and their battles, but more importantly their victories. I personally feel we at least owe both them and ourselves a moment to hear their tales. To the developers, you’ve done a stellar job on the execution and breath taking environment.
Inspirational Journey! Congrats to all creators involved in making this experince and showing us how vittual reality can make us closer to stories we coudn't know about...keep them coming!
Very Humbling. This is one of the sweetest, most poignant apps I have seen in VR yet. I dare any parent to listen to these stories and not get emotional. I like to imagine these kids’ reactions when they get to see a statue of themselves as heroes and hear their own story. Great job (again) St. Jude’s!
