One of the best touring apps. I really enjoyed the storytelling aspect. My favourite was experiencing the elephants up close. Good balance of education and entertainment.
Amazing VR experience. This quickly became one of my favorite apps on Quest. Very high quality, beautiful, informative, with many emotionally moving stories from around the world. You really feel like you are transported to the location with the immersive 360 videos. Highly recommend and a must have in your Quest collection.

Beautifull game. I love this game its so calm and relieving my parents also love it😂
Awesome !!!! Truly love this! If I didn’t have responsibilities in life I might just live in the ocean or Africa 24/7! Haha. Can’t get enough of this. FYI I’m a 55 yr old gma that likes to lose at beat saber against her gson lol. Love it on my own. Going back to the ocean now!
Disappointed. I couldn't even start to watch it, as soon as l got in, it was awash with new age , woke propaganda. Climate change dogma and poverty porn for champagne socialists.
Not working. Downloads every time you log in, and the downloads take a really long time even with my fast wifi. The videos themselves don't load after the download, even if it's a faster download. It's broken app
Not impressed. I downloaded this app thinking it would be great but it won't even fully download 😕 and it also keeps trying to download even after you cancel causing me not to be able to download any other games. How do I delete this app from my device?
The idea is innovative. The apps got potential because it is more beautiful than some YouTube videos and it is in one place - easy to find.
However, the resolution is not good enough, and sometimes it is too close to your eyes that gives some unpleasant visions, and sometimes it is like view things via a mist.
Truly wonderful app. This is truly a wonderful app covering various places on Earth and its social impact. Whether it be Elephants in Kenya, the Sea of Islands, Marine life in Raja Ampat, plus many others.
There are up to five short videos per location and whilst the majority are in 180 degrees, there are a couple in 2D and one in 360 degrees but regardless of the format, the cinematography is crystal clear with great sounding audio.
My favourite, in which I have watched many times, is Raja Ampat section. As a baby, I could actually swim before I could walk and even today in my 50’s, I take to the Sea in my Kayak, just to be at one with the Ocean/Sea.
As for Raja Ampat, the Marine life with the various species of fish that are schooling, shoaling and Coral is tremendous as the camera’s take you beneath the waves. It’s just a beautiful sight watching thousands of fish swim about and then, you have the Giant Oceanic Manta Rays that come real close to the camera.
The Marine reserve, is a protected site located in Misool, where the Misool Foundation is rebuilding the Coral and fish species after severe overfishing.
A truly amazing set of videos, that is a must for all those that are interested in our wonderful Planet.
Absolutely stunning. Fantastic app and it is free. It is like National Geographic made for VR. I hope it releases more content down the line because the storytelling and the video immersion is fantastic. Good job.
Installed but…. This app is installed, but it keeps downloading every time I try to launch it. It’s like it never installed in the first place. I give this app negative stars. Not worth the time of day.
Fantastic! More please! I've watched all the videos and I love them all. It's wonderful and refreshing to hear the voices of the locals instead of some white dude sharing about how he achieved peace. Note however that this is a feel good app - all the videos have an optimistic message behind. This makes it great for children but may be insufficient for those who wish to learn more. There is also no mention or details on how some of the problems have roots in colonialism or are caused by high consumerism. The videos state the problem (e.g. dead coral reefs) and then showcase a solution that is working (e.g. protected region). Although to be fair there is also honesty the challenges that are still ongoing. Overall, I would highly recommend it to everyone. I have certainly grown an interest in learning about Colombia and immediately researched further after watching the videos. The locations were also great and it felt like I was right there watching the sunset. I will eagerly wait for the next video!
Free 180 degree 3D wildlife documentarie. Yes my headline is overly simplistic, but in a nutshell, that is what Ecosphere offers - 180 degrees of rotation, 3D documentaries on wildlife and remote areas of the world, such as jungles, deserts and oceans, all for free and without commercials. Documentaries can be streamed in-app or downloaded for offline viewing. Yes there is a strong underlying message of environmental protection and conservation, but if this does not trigger you then there are some mighty breathtaking views to behold, some of my favourites being the observation of elephants in Africa and exploring the underwater coral reefs of southeast Asia. New content is also planned for the future, so definitely 'one to watch'
Excellent content. A tip for those Oculus Quest 2 users having trouble downloading content - when I installed the app from the in-headset store there was no buttons to download anything, so I uninstall it. I subsequently tried downloading the app using the Oculus app on my phone, and this time I could now see previews of each episode, and download them to watch the full episode. So if you're having trouble downloading content, try that. You will notice there are 3 or 4 episodes for each of the (currently) 5 locations, and each episode must be downloaded individually. The film content is excellent, but it's a shame you have to download it all instead of being able to stream it.
