It does what it says. I am also giving this a 5 star, not because it's perfect, but because it works very well for what I imagined and expected. This is not the metaverse in its entirety and never promised that. But if you want to meet and share screens and an emersive environment, getting work done... this does the job well. And it can only get better from here.
It's usable. I’m gonna rate it 5 stars not because it’s perfect but because a lot of people are making ridiculous reviews. This is one of the best softwares that solves both personal and group working and works most time pretty well. It could indeed be better with higher refresh rate and higher resolution, or more sort of customizable things, but it’s generally only a matter of time.
Potentially best app to work in VR. It is the most user friendly and best looking app of the other similar multi screen apps (Immersed, vSpatial). It has its issues but I believe that it will get improved in future updates. Pros: -Multi screen -Pretty and very esthetic (office room, desk, clocks, calendar, etc) -Simple user interface Cons: -Can't resize the screens (changing distance) -Sometimes laggy.
Known bugs make it useless. After days and days of back and forth with Meta customer service, it was finally revealed there is a known bug that causes an endless cycle of signing in with Meta and then getting signed out. The solution? Just keep deleting and reinstalling the app to see if it starts working. No real help. No real explanation what the issue is. Just keep doing the same things over and over again and hope it works? *eye roll* Anyway, it works with my old Windows 10 computer, but that computer is too slow to do much with. The Windos 11 computer I bought it doesn't work with. Immersed works--it's a bit laggy--but there is an alternative if you need a VR workspace.
Stuck at connecting loop. Can't connect to my desktop pc, gets stuck on connecting. Looks like it connects for a brief instant, then back to connecting until finally it displays a disconnected message 🤷 Restarted, reinstalled, firewall properly setup..

何もない。何もかもつまらないし、話すこともない。作業することもない。息子たち(友達)には、作業部屋を作るためにオキュラスを買うように言ったんだけど、無意味だし、デスクトップを接続することもできない。"OOPS THIS SITE IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH YOUR DEVICE TRY AGAIN WITH A DIFFRENT ONE🤪"って表示されるんだ。

Nothing. Everything’s boring no talking I do not have anything to work on I told my boys ( friends ) to buy an oculus so we can do workrooms it is just pointless and I cannot hook my desktop at all it says “OOPS THIS SITE IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH YOUR DEVICE TRY AGAIN WITH A DIFFRENT ONE🤪”
Garbage that needs fixed! The first three times that I installed this app, I immediately uninstalled it because it was frustrating being forced to use hand tracking gestures and I thought that it only worked with hand tracking. But I tried it a fourth time and was happy to see that the hand tracking is only required during the setup at the beginning and after that you can use your controllers.
But after getting past that unpleasant experience, I ran into a huge deal breaker. My laptop supports 1920x1080, but I always have it set to my preferred 1600x900. Even when I extend my laptop screen to my TV, I have the TV also set to 1600x900. But as soon as I connect Horizon Workrooms to my computer, it changes my screen resolution to 1920x1080 and does the same for each additional screen that I add. There isn't a way to change the resolution from the Quest Horizon Workrooms app and there isn't a way to change the resolution with the Meta Quest Remote Desktop App. So the only way left is to change it on my laptop, but as soon as I change it from 1920x1080 to 1600x900, the Horizon Workrooms app disconnects from my computer. Then I have two choices. I can peek under my headset at the laptop and select "Keep Changes" (as in keep 1600x900) or I can wait for Horizon Workrooms to reconnect to the computer and then select "Keep Changes" but either way results in my changes not being kept and it still forces back to the 1920x1080 resolution. I even tried using my laptop NVIDIA Control Panel to change the resolution to 1600x900 and that didn't work.
So that's why this app is worthless junk that needs fixed. If I can't get my desired resolution, then I can't use this app. Even if I can get my desired resolution, it shouldn't be this hard to change the resolution. There should be an easy way to set up each screen's resolution, either from inside the Horizon Workrooms app itself or using the Metal Quest Remote Desktop App.
Garbage. Garbage. Garbage. Fix your junk and then maybe we could appreciate it!
Not usable at launch of quest 3. Got my quest 3 figured I'd hook it up and play a flat screen game on my PC through it. Wouldn't let me adjust the height of my desk. Got it connected to my computer but it couldn't run any apps. My physical monitor would show the opened app and my headset would just stay on the desktop. Sticking with virtual desktop for now
