Meta Quest 「Backhoe Safety and Operation」

　バックホーは‏、‎さまざまな産業用途でその多用途性と機動性で知られる作業機械だ。
　掘削や重い瓦礫の移動に使用できるため、しばしばスイスアーミーナイフに例えられる。
　こ‏の‎車両はトラクター、ローダー、バックホーのアタッチメントで構成されていま‏す‎。
　こ‏の‎ローダーのユニークな特徴のひとつは‏、‎オペレーターが運転中に前方を向き、その後キャブ内で180度回転して掘削コントロールを管理することである。
　参加者はダンプトラックを操作し‏、‎現役の作業現場でさまざまな作業をこなす。
　概要と活動： 参加者はまず、概要を説明し‏、‎車外と車内の主要部品と構成要素、安全のヒント、重機を使用する前に行う歩行点検の基本を確認しま‏す‎。
　参加者は‏、‎並べ替えとマッチングを行い、車両内の重要な制御装置とその位置を確認する。
　その後、VR環境で車両の操作に慣れるため、1つの作業を行うよう求められる。
　シミュレーション こ‏の‎インタラクティブなシミュレーションにより、参加者は安全かつ現実的な形式でバックホウの操作方法を探り、学び、練習することができる。
　参加者は‏、‎個人用保護具（PPE）を着用し‏、‎車両の操作前点検を行い、車両の操作に慣れるために1つの作業を完了しなければならない。
　参加者は‏、‎壁の解体や瓦礫の撤去など、現役の作業現場での作業に挑戦する。
　

The backhoe is a workhorse known for its versatility and maneuverability in a variety of industrial purposes. They are often compared to a Swiss army knife as they can be used for excavation and moving heavy debris. This vehicle consists of a tractor, loader, and backhoe attachment. One unique feature of this loader is that the operator faces forward while operating it, but then rotates 180 degrees inside the cab to manage the excavating controls. Participants will operate a dump truck and complete various tasks on an active worksite.

Overview & Activities:
Participants begin with an overview that provides context and helps identify key parts and components outside and inside the vehicle, safety tips, and the basics of a walk-around inspection performed before using any heavy machinery. Participants engage in a sort-and-match activity to reinforce essential controls and their location inside the vehicle. They are then asked to perform a single task to become familiar with operating the vehicle in a VR environment.

Simulation:
The interactive simulation allows participants to explore, learn, and practice operating a backhoe in a safe and realistic format. Participants must wear personal protective equipment (PPE), conduct a pre-operation inspection of the vehicle, and complete one task to familiarize themselves with the operation of the vehicle. Participants are challenged to complete tasks at an active worksite, including the demolition of a wall and the removal of debris.
