What a game! Feels good! I played this game in the demo, did not think it would be all that, but boy was I wrong! The mechanics & Physics are very good, and having to get the gear changing and clutch control down to perform stunts can be daunting at first, but once you get it down you will be hooked! Lots of different environments to ride in awesome game so much fun to be had!!This game is something special and in my opinion leaps and bounds ahead of Moto X which does not compare to this one little bit and this is EARLY ACCESS so much more coming to it from what I hear! And boy when you pull off the superman stunt it’s so satisfying ! Grab this now while it’s early access the game is going to fly!!The feeling from this game is the most rewarding
Easy to learn, tough to master. I've tried several offroad, dirt-bike or pedal-bike type games and this one really does a good job of making you feel like you're actually riding an offroad motorcycle. The control scheme is intuitive as well as the shifting and breaking. Learning all of the various in-air tricks will take some time to master but it's still easy enough if you practice one a few times before moving on to the next. The comfort rating for the game is "intense" and that is definitely true! If you're not good with handling motion sickness, I would not recommend. I don't handle motion sickness very well but was able to go for small spurts before needing to pause. Though I would say the one track with all the bumps and grooves was really rough on my head and stomach (from the virtual bouncing)! But all this motion sickness is on me, not the game. That said, the gameplay is fun riding around and trying to do some epic jumps. You can tell it's still early access so I hope they're able to add AI and multiplayer competitors. The only other recommendation is that getting the bike into neutral seemed touchy.
Realistic dirt bike controls!!! This is my review for it's current condition in early access and still under development by a very small indie team, which started as a hobby and has the potential to become a goldmine.I am a big fan of watching Motocross races and stunts on television. There's no way I could do that in real life. If I was young again, I'd go for it. But I can do it now in VR. What makes SXM different from MotoX: SXM is all about stunts and riding the bike like a real bike by using the break, clutch, shifting, and applying the throttle.........did I say, "like a real dirt bike?" I have experience riding motorcycles and dirt bikes and this feels the most realistic. There is a noob mode for those who are just starting out where it'll shift automatically so you can focus on nailing the stunts. Now the stunts! At the moment, you can attempt wheelies, stoppies (endos), backflips, front flips, superman, cliffhanger, lazy boy, and heel clicker, and more to come. Some of these stunts will require practice and skill, especially the flips. I successfully performed the lazy boy and cliffhanger on my first try. It felt awesome. I haven't landed the flips yet but still trying to do a double flip without seriously injuring myself lol.Right now, there are quite a few maps (arenas) to explore in freeroam. We can expect career, story, and co-op modes later this year. But to do this, this very small team needs our support. The game is only $7.99 and quite the experience. At this price, you'll get more game later on with no additional costs.
Good dirt bike fun! If you're looking for a dirt bike game with some realistic controls they got you covered or if you just wanna hit the gas and do stunts while catching air they got simplified controls for you as well. It's just fun to hop on and ride around at fast speeds
A SPEED FEST OF FUN. I was lucky enough to play an early version of this game and at every step the dev has improved the game and listened to feedback, Auto gears were added for noobs like me, the speed is insane, the jumps are incredible.More courses have been added 8 so far now with more to come, this is proving to be a great addition to my collection especially if you like fast speed games.I’m still learning my jumps but just riding around is so realistic A definite must for fans of motorcycles mayhem.
