Take a bow and kill hordes of orcs in the epic castle defense game. You can play alone or unite with other assassins in online co-op mode. PS. Be careful to avoid massive axes thrown at you by orc warriors.
Great Sibling Bonding!! I purchased this game for the strict purpose of logging on with my 2 older brothers...to shoot them with arrows. Lol. And have had a blast with them (and on my own) killing orcs and dragons, making strategic execution plans and just having fun! Not to mention the competition on who has the better gear....
very enjoyable game for you & 3 friends. Can you have your grandson with the USAF in Watertown NY play a game with you in Salt Lake City, Utah. Why not! A family game night with people you enjoy being with. Another thing shooting bad creatures who are trying to kill innocent civilians isn’t what assassins do. So we just call it Elven Archer. No matter what you call it, it is a fine way to spend game time with anyone, no matter where they live. I do wish there was a chance to win and save the people instead of knowing you can’t win no matter what you do. Another thing what can I do with my 20,375 gold pieces when there is nothing to buy? In spite of these short comings we have enjoyed almost countless hours of fun social time playing this special game.
My favorite game from day one! Elven Assassin has been my go-to Oculus game since October 2020, and it has consistently delivered an excellent co-op, multiplayer experience. Playing with friends and family has been an absolute blast, and the game’s immersive world adds to the enjoyment.
However, my only wish is for a dedicated single-player theme tailored for solo players. While the co-op aspect is fantastic, having a solo mode would add versatility to the game and provide an equally engaging experience for those times when solo gaming is preferred.
Otlichno!🙂 Everything has worked!!! Earned multiplayer. I love this game and archery. Like both team mode and duel mode 🙂👍 Develop the game further. Supported - bought DLC 😉
Love it. Love this game so much! First time playing it was in Seattle and had a blast. Please add more fun boards to this game. We need a save option on it too so we can save our wave. The quest doesn’t last long.
Love This Game! I absolutely love this game. We play it everyday! I don’t suffer from motion sickness playing this game which is great. I hope the developers come out with even more maps!
Good replayability. I really like to play the archery mini-game in “The Lab”, which is not available on the Quest, so I was looking for an alternative. Elven Assassin does a great job delivering. While archery in The Lab has a certain cartoony charm, Elven Assassin is a more fun and feature-rich game. Multiplayer mode is particularly fun. While Elvin Assassin does have some flaws, I do recommend it if you like archery games.
The developers seem to be good about making regular updates. I like that the armor and bows you can buy now provide special modifiers and actually protect you. I also appreciate that you can now disallow those archers who use the cheat to shoot ridiculously fast.
The new “Rise of Darkness” DLC adds 5 new spells which goes a long way to resolving a lot of issues I had with the game not letting you feel you can meaningfully advance once you reached level 60 or so. Now it feels like there is a bit more strategy to picking spells.
This game should have a tutorial for teaching new players the basics and how to use magic. Protecting the Dwarves and escorting the elf princess provide fun environments that are sort of like a campaign though it seems like it would be straightforward to string all the different environments into a more fun bigger adventure or even let the user pick for themselves which environments to string together. I might want just want 2-3 environments if I want a shorter game or all of them if I want a long campaign. Like I might want to start at the village and if you get to level 80 you get to go to the next environment and eventually get to the level where you repel their ships off at the coast and win, but if you don’t make it to level 80 you go back to the previous environment.
An earlier update did make it possible to skip the first 30 “introductory” attack waves to start a multiplayer game at a harder starting point which was a big improvement. I wish you could also skip the first 30 levels in single-player mode as well.
I find it frustrating that when you bring up the menu while you are playing that you are not shown more about how well each player is doing. You only get such feedback when the game ends. Details like who are the best players, how many points you need to get to achieve the next level or how much money each player has won in the current game would be nice to see while playing.
It seems odd that ogres only throw an axe at you after you hit them with an arrow. They never throw an axe on their own initiative. Also odd that the snowy world does not show a single fire anywhere to keep anybody warm. In all locations, the shadows oddly never seem to jive with where the sun is located. Why don’t you ever see the villagers? You would think they would cheer the players on from time to time, say thanks or at least say something other than “They’re breaking in” in an accent that just feels out of place. But these are nitpicks.

Elven Assassin is an awesome VR game that keeps you entertained for hours! Whether you're playing alone or with friends it truly is a blast! The game has spells and levelling up, so there's always something new to discover. I like that they thought about difficulty levels - you can start at an easy level or play without spells if you want and it's infinitely replayable. I haven't had any problems with bugs or crashes. Players are nice and helpful, making it a great place for tips and just hanging out. Overall, I totally recommend Elven Assassin for a fun and engaging VR game, whether you're a regular gamer or new to virtual reality, you won't be disappointed!
Never Gets Old. Your shoulders get a great workout with this game. My husband and I have always enjoyed this game. Great to dip in and out of. Oldie but goodie.
Incredibly fun. You buy it for the archery, you stay for the community. Every time I log on I end up having a blast with random people from around the world, talking, laughing, singing. 10/10 great value for money
Ps. I’d recommend that the devs have a look at making more dlc content. Particularly more spells/arrow types, so that there’s more ways to mix up your playstyle. For example, I’d love to see poison arrows, ricochet arrows, arrows focused on short/long distance, more traps, etc.
One of my favorites. Not that fun solo but super fun with friends or online. Played this years ago on my Vive but just got a Quest and am happy to see the variety of new boards and improvements to existing boards since I last played. I’d like more variety to the sound effects or background music, as I don’t think that has changed at all, and after a long period of playing it gets a little too repetitive. But, it’s still fun to say “they’re breaking in!”
My Top Pick on the Quest2. I thoroughly enjoyed the game; it's the title I find myself playing the most on my Oculus Quest 2. Whenever I put on my gear, it's usually Elven Assassin that I dive into first.
Black screen quest 1. After installing update, I just get a black screen. I can hear the music playing, but can’t see anything. I tried restarting, but didn’t change. Other games still play fine. Please fix, thanks.
Elven Assasin. Love this game! There are different maps within it and it’s especially fun with other players and enjoyable as a single player as well. Let’s play!
Very good game … but. Recently a bug has been introduced on the handling of the bow for left hand users. The bow does not follow the angle of the hand during aim.
