Design interiors, buildings, virtual spaces and more with Arkio on Meta Quest and Meta Quest Pro. Try new design ideas and collaborate with others using VR, desktop and mobile to make better design decisions faster.
With room import and passthrough you can design, mix and share realities like never before. Move freely around large spaces or entire floors with the new boundaryless mode. Place virtual furniture in your living room, sketch an extension on your home, carve a virtual window into a wall or remove entire walls! View 3D models as scale models or experience them at true scale in the real world. Color passthrough on Meta Quest 3 & Pro brings mixed reality in Arkio vividly to life.
Arkio features a unique volumetric modeling kernel that allows you to intuitively create and modify shapes, carve openings and design with parametric components as if working with physical building blocks.
Easily upload and download images, and large 3D models directly to and from Meta Quest using Arkio Cloud. Import/export from Unity, Revit, Rhino, SketchUp, LiDAR apps and more.
Fantastic potential. As a theatrical designer, I have begun to use this app for set design. It is an incredibly helpful tool for design as well as communicating my designs to the rest of the production team. While there are still some limitations, it has been become an important tool in my workflow and I'm excited to see how this app grows with each update. The folks at Arkio are also very helpful and prompt with replies, showing interest in suggestions by users to improve and add features. All in all, I have been very please with Arkio!

good. Very good, but could use a bit more flexibility.
A Game-Changer for Student Collaboration. This VR app for collaborative 3D design is a transformative tool for students. Its intuitive interface, allowing easy 3D model import and creation, sets the stage for a truly remarkable collaborative experience. Working alongside classmates in the same virtual space, manipulating and crafting 3D objects in real-time, brings teamwork to new heights. The comprehensive set of design tools, immersive VR experience, and compatibility with various headsets cater to students of all skill levels. This app redefines how students collaborate and design in 3D, making it an invaluable addition to any educational toolkit, particularly for those in design, architecture, or related fields. It's a five-star game-changer.

Great for study purposes. Great collaboration with Arkio, app allows our students in Rezekne Academy of Technologies to work in design study programs, great new possibilities for working in VR in collaboration and also importing student designs. The support and communication was great and we recommend the app to education institutions who are starting to work with VR.
Effectively Inefficient at its One Job. 6 plank-sized boxes created using the clone command fail to align when in the shape of a cabinet. I have no other words in this path. While it is good as the only free software to provide a meters-into-feet standardization, that boon falls flat when it blatantly fails to have an intuitive snap system that changes the size of the item when aligning and changes the physics when snapped to the ground.
Unfortunately horribe controls. It is the truth, the controls are horrible. I was not able to get rid of the camera tool without pushing back to the menu, there is no "back" or "quit"- buttons. And this is just one example.. could it be so hard to program an easy construction app for testing furniture in XR?
This is clearly just for walkthrough... It's veeery difficult to build a precise building. The snapping is really bad, grouping objects together also doesn't work properly (couldn't figure out how to ungroup objects as well) - in such case I'm unable to create multi level building. The building process in VR is just awful, same with painting/ texturing/ placing objects. I guess there are some issues with raycasting, sometimes it just hits random objects all over the map.
However I believe this might be a cool app for presenting already built buildings and this app already has it. All you need to do is to upload your asset (image, fbx or obj) and download it directly in the app. But I don't recommend editing anything through the app. Also UI is horribly bad! 1.5/5 just for the "walkthrough" feature!
I like the latest update but ... This app has great potential but it needs improvements, walls become invisible when you approach them in MR. But the important thing is the virtual objects don't stay in their MR place when you reconnect and load the scene. Figmin XR for example you can view scene objects in the same saved places.
Great Collaborative Learning. Arkio allows our students at Suffolk New College to bring their own 3D designs into an easy to use collaborative space, and to plan and model building and construction designs as a group. The fact you can transfer Autodesk Revit designs to Arkio along with BIM information is fantastic.
The support has been great and we highly recommend the software to any educational institution looking to take their learning to a more sustainable and current level.
Nope. I couldn't figure out if I was supposed to use the green platform on my floor to use to edit ON or to use it to edit in my passthrough. I skipped the tutorial bcuz It didn't help at all-so In all formed in conclusion I didn't get it I got so frustrated I woke up my house (3:00) but if I wasn't so frustrated I could have got it I also didn't get the overestimulating amount of mechanics this is not to blame the game its to blame me (½)
Seriously messed up controls. I was so excited installing it over a year ago, was fairly smooth, but basic. Which is fine.
Now it’s a mess, impossible to use. Would make sense polishing controls before you go into experimentation with gestures. Using it is so frustrating I gave up in a few hours of a project.
