Won’t work. Logged in but it just comes up error every time. Gutted I was looking forward to this and it’s ruined the meta experience for me. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling but still the same error when launched. I’m in the UK and have an expensive Netflix subscription so this is a kick in the teeth and no one can explain why it won’t work so think I’ll have to take the quest 3 back for a refund
My eyes are tearing. What's with the resolution? YouTube is crisp and clear on my Quest 3, but this app only streams like i have a subscription below basic. I pay premium price for the lowest quality?
Worst App in 2024. How is this app so bad, I thought prime is outdated but than I started the Netflix app, holy cow … I am enjoying watching movies on my quest 3 but this app is just crap, no fun at all … better watch Netflix on your mobile device …
Can’t access my account. Everytime I login, I select my profile and then…nothing. Can’t access the library or watch something. Tried the links in app to change settings and authorize the device but can’t click on anything…nothing’s working.
Got to test it once before bugging and was nice. Not great but still good. Can’t figure out a way to warch my netflix on quest 3 at the moment…
A poor effort from Netflix. Netflix is a BIG player in the video streaming world, so I cannot understand why they would create such a poor video app for the Meta Quest 3 which has amazing capabilities for 4K and 3D video, yet Netflix has completely ignored this. If I owned Netflix I would want to impress my subscribers and be the BEST! I would want to raise the bar and show my competitors just how good we are, but no, Netflix has seriously let itself and its subscribers down.
Users want to see a feature packed app that offers amazing video quality and features....like the BigScreen app. They want to make use of the Meta Quest 3's hardware capabilities, such as UHD 4K video and 3D video.
So come on Netflix, show users your full capabilities and expertise of the video streaming world, create a decent app for 2024 and get your GOOD reputation back!
NOTE: A Netflix customer service advisor has confirmed that the Meta Quest 3 Netflix app can display movies at a MAXIMUM resolution of 480p, this is an appalling resolution! Especially when compared to the YouTube VR app.
Awful outdated app! Terrible outdated app with awful resolution. How come YouTube VR can look so good & this so crap! Sort it out Netflix & Meta & while you’re at it sort out the resolution for Prime & Disney + too! Come on, we pay for this!!
Update required - Very old interface. The interface has been hardly updated since I started using the app 2 years ago. Some suggestions for the update: (1) add hand tracking (not just controllers), (2) Add more options for the virtual scene around the screen, (3) Add pass-through mode so that we can watch movies and still see our surroundings, (4) Update the interface to take advantage of the VR space.
Low effort, ancient app. There are so many better video players than this, which feels like it was made for the Oculus Go 5 years ago and never was updated since. I guess Netflix has zero incentive to make this any better if Meta isn't paying them. At least it's better than the Amazon Prime Video app that doesn't even work anymore.
