Travelling While Black. This app has been down for time, I would like to know what's the problem.
Definitely worth the time and download. If you are familiar with the movie Green Book, this 360 degree 3D documentary tells the accounts of those who lived segregation and who faced the challenges of finding food, lodging and other services in an America that was still very much catering primarily to (and often exclusively to) caucasians. Definitely worth the time and download.
A great download! Like you are in the documentary! Goes through tough stuff to talk about though.

Great Visuals & Storytelling. Story is told by real peoples stories by the people themselves and it’s done with mostly real footage and some virtual components. Though the story is short it gets straight to the point and is told very well. Couldn’t have been done better!

A must see film,. Traveling While Black (TWB) is an EXCELLENT way to showcase VR as a tool of empathy and understanding. During all my demos, I showcased TWB when is time to initiate a dialogue about race. This is a great way to be present during a difficult topic, without feeling like you are intruding in conversations. Every bit we experience helps to bring equity. TWB is a must for everyone... VR with a purpose.
The app right now it just directs the user to open Web Browser in VR and search for the film. This is not conductive to a functional (and wondrous) VR experience.
Send an email to the good people at Felix & Paul Studios, expressing your opinion. Maybe we can revitalize the app. customer_support@felixandpaul.com
@Felix & Paul Studios We were fine downloading a few GBs of film to the Quest, to maximize quality. I understand that the mechanics of keeping the app current may be a burden, but we are loosing great treasures due lack of updates.
The same thing happened to your film "The People's House". The only way to get this tour of the White House is in my OculusGO (the only reason why I keep that old horse around). With the release of Quest 3, we will have a new influx of new users. They will be engaged in new games, mixed reality, hand and body tracking... yet all these gems that showcase different parts of the world, culture, and allow us to experience the trials and tribulations that other endure are disappearing.
Suggestion: Why don't you update the Felix & Paul Studios app (in the Quest Store) as a player for all your productions. I understand that some films were not free (that is OK), but the productions that were financed by grants to be freely accessible still need a home.

This games suffers like all 3D video experiences from the not so ideal quality of the 3D cameras and the problem off 3D videos beeing not perfectly allined with your eyes resulting in headaches.
So take it slowly to enjoy the experience.
For the Developers take a look at ana franks house they used 3D renderings of the location and voice recordings to still get you at the relevant scenes and at the same time get the story and emotions accross. This seems to be the way to make storrytelling in VR as long as the camera Tech is not advanced enough.
Fix the problem. I want to be black and I want to be a black man and I want to play but it’s not working

Shame on you. Please hurry up and fix the bugs it’s bad enough that there aren’t enough VR’s that show people of color this is a beautiful Documentary sad I can’t show my young grandkids and great grandchildren that nana is hip enough to still teach them a thing or two
Educational. Love the sharing from real folks. It was educational with important messages. The old timey environments were cool.
My only complaint is that like most of the free apps from F&P Studios that I've tried, the FOV seems too wide and it is very nauseating for.. well, anyone with 2 eyes. It gets worse when I turn and look around. I wonder if the developers actually tested the app before releasing it.
