Loving the community and clubs! This app is so pretty, I can see so much potential here. It can be a little quiet at times, but when these people throw a party it is so much fun! I had no idea I could "go out" from home and meet new people and hear great music. It's like a festival in your living room! I can't wait to see what's next.
By far BEST NIGHT-CLUBS for stand-alone. The environments are crazy looking good. I never felt more immersed standing on these dance floors. You can always acces MYX but MYX really comes alive when users are gathering on set times. These gathering times you will find within the app or on there discord. Joining a event feels so real, you have to check it out if you love music, well.. who doesn’t 😊.
Awesome beginnings. Really enjoyed stumbling on this app. I have nightclub simulator (Which is more of a fun game then a nightclub experience) and hang out in some of the night clubs in Horizon Metaworlds (Which is more of a social chat experience then a nightclub). Honorouble mention VR chat which has nightclubs but is also mainly focused around chat.
MYX is the first VR app I have experienced that truly resmbles a club. With the lights and the music pumping it felt really immersive. I like the apartment and being able to design avatars that look good.
From the apartment you can sign up for a free account on the Television or a free DJ account if you use Trip app. There is a VIP signup which is on a reduction at time of writing. The events are listed on the screen, one doming up in November and some kind of New Years event based in ancient Egypt.
I’m looking forward to dropping into some of the events for some clubbing vibes.
I use another app called Multiverse where I have an apartment, it would be great if this app teamed up with Multiverse so the residents of the Infiniverse can go clubbing. I also sometimes serve coffee in the Soapstone Comedy Club. I wouldnt mind being a coat attendent, bar tender or something like that in one of the clubs, even the dude in the restroom that sells colognes, lol its all fun but I would totally sit there in VR and have a little job.
Anyway enough said, keep up the good work, looking forward to watching this app grow.
Visionary Magic. This is simply epic entertainment. From full city nightlife to tranquil moments on the beach, this one has it all. Clubs with fantastic music and laser light shows, plus much much more. Mere words can not describe this amazing experience. Did I mention lasers and driving hovercraft? You must give this one a try. Look for me in there, I am on often, tell me if I am right!
Seriously?. Stop hiring people for fake five star reviews! I have a lot of experience in VR and have tried hundreds of games and apps and I can say that this app is pure garbage and anyone who tries it can confirm it. There are no words to describe how far it is from being acceptable and it is presented as "the best looking app on the quest"?! Can it legally be done?! It seems more like a scam designed to try to sell VIP subscriptions on the basis of nothing by inserting the word metaverse to dupe the less experienced. HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED
A nightlife city district for adults 👍. A great place to hang out and explore. There are nightclub venues here that feature amazing DJ's streamed in live from Tribe XR in partnership with Pioneer and VIP yacht cruises that really give you a sense of presence within VR. I have met several people that hang out in MYX that I also spend time with on the MYX discord server to talk about upcoming DJ events, hang-out events, and other related and non related discussions. If your looking to make friends in VR or DJ and get noticed, this is a great place for you. I really enjoy the uncompromising adult vibe here.
early stages but very promising!!! The graphics/ visual and sound effects in this game are mind blowing!!! With headphones on it just feels like you're in a real club. The developer is very open minded and is always open for suggestions and ideas. Here and there you can sometimes find a small bug but with the frequent updates it's very rapidly resolved😎. Recent updates have also added the "Holo" Dj sets so it looks like there are real people/DJ's performing in the clubs💯.
I'm fascinated by what a single programmer has already accomplished!
The clubs and surroundings look fantastic, the controls are very self-explanatory and kept simple. The game looks technically very good! (the NPCs could look a bit better xd)
I think the idea is great and the implementation of well-known DJs too!
unfortunately my experience could not start as desired
I was greeted with performance problems when I started the game, but they went away after a restart.
When entering the first club I was amazed and wanted to look around. When buying a beer bottle, 4 bottles came out and suddenly shot through the whole club (these are definitely bugs that will be fixed in the future)
When I was rocking along with the music while exploring the club, everything was suddenly quiet. After leaving the club and going back into the club, the music started all over again and the same thing happened again. I've had that experience at every club I've entered. in a period of 5 minutes the music just disappeared out of nowhere. This also happened after 3 restarts of the app. at the third time my entire game sound was gone after about 10 minutes.
On the last try, however, everything went great and I had no performance problems, bugs, laggs or sound problems. everything went perfectly and I was able to enjoy Tita's set.
I was very engrossed in MYX and also had a lot of fun.
Overall I think MYX still has a way to go! however, it can already provide a good insight into the virtual club scene!
Something I would love to see:
Live streaming implementation! Meaning: That u are able to input a Livestream URL for example Twitch ore Youtube so that you can host events with people djing live at the exact moment.
Lights that react to music. one thing that would be really nice, is if the lights would match the sets or the music.
e.g. at a part of the set the music was very quiet and slow but the lights flashed like crazy.
Wow. Would love to visit the clubs with friends. Should get a battery pack for my quest to stay longer.
Based on all the previous feedback and dev comments I'm hyped for the next update.

Edit: Created this review a long time ago, just after my first visit to MYX and it's only getting better. The community is great and the devs are lovers of the scene themselves and are nice to meet on discord and inside MYX.
Highly recommend this experience to meet like-minded people, enjoy the Holo dj sets or just load up a browser with your favorite livesets and enjoy them in virtual clubs.

From the moment I put on my headset and enter MYX, I feel a sense of calm wash over me. This app has a visceral quality to it that truly sets it apart from any other app or game on VR or even on a desktop. MYX has a "feel" to it that makes me feel like I'm really there.
One of my favorite things about MYX is the ability to use it as a relaxing getaway. I love hanging out in my virtual apartment, reading, surfing the internet, or just chilling out on the leather couch. It's the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of my everyday life.
But MYX is not just a place to relax, it's also a vibrant social hub. I love catching up with old friends and meeting new ones at the virtual bars and clubs. And when I'm not in MYX, I find that it continues to impact and improve my life outside of VR as well. It adds depth and color to my life, with countless laughs and amazing people.
And when I'm having one of those days, MYX is the perfect place to escape. My virtual apartment is my safe haven where I can go to be alone and unwind. It is the place I wander when I’m all alone, and nobody knows it but me.
Was good, but needs more love. i used to love mix as it was progressing, but now with in your face as soon as your drop in VIP paid content, and the HORRIBLE Lag and lack of optimization anywhere, and half baked maps with no content or polish, i cant say i can suggest it anymore without some real work, re-thought and love put into it, Everyone want to nickel and dime you to death these days, but if the product isn't good i can't if i was i could see but , as it stands now, just no.

Seriously?. These app reviewers must be family members or on Ecstasy because it's a joke. This app is an example of what happens when a Clubber For Life meets a 3D Designer college graduate and throws him free drugs to build a VR app - convincing him and others who are easily influenced that his own personality and his vision for a VR club will take over the internet.
Terrible UI, lots of fake avatars all over the place to make it seem social, you have to walk everywhere, and so much more is wrong with this app. The only thing right was the ecstasy on the bathroom sink - I got dizzy and quit the game. Never felt better.
The Future of Clubbing and Entertainment. I discovered this amazing app when it first came out, and it continues to evolve and blow my mind! The realism of the experience is absolutely top notch, unrivaled by any other social app.
