Abandoned app, no longer developed. It is impossible to create an account on Quest 3 nor in the PC web browser. The error messages are generic and meaningless. An account is needed to start the application, therefor it is fundamentally 100% broken and the fact that the app is still on the Meta store is a great mystery.
Great app for Cardboard users. Before I purchased the Quest. I use this app everyday in my domintories. Is the only TV I got in my school days. It bring back my memories.
Also it's the only cinema app that can reperduce the sound effect precisely while watching movie, cuz movie are designed for theater. Like you won't not hear the deep bass or the surrounding sound if you watch it on regular phone or PC screen. Also the ambient lighting play a big part of the movie experience.
Author I am so thankful for you making this application. I wish I could earn more so that I can support you.
1)Now there are some bugs there on the android version. Like, the seat will not be changed if there is no network or poor connection. 2)Also, the app lunches with a long time of black screen. 3)The app will be frozen if the video is not supported. 4)The volume level tends to return to the original status automatic. No feature to disconnect or kick some of the prank user.
My favourite VR app!! Cinevr is my favourite vr app. I use it all time on my quest 1 for watching movies. It has best theatre environment with best surround sound and spatial audio.
It's disappointing the latest version lacks few important features from previous version such as dynamic lighting. I have to sideload a previous version 2.50 which is the best in my opinion as it has great dynamic lighting and bots.
I have some bugs and features would like to see in latest:
1. Spatial audio and surround sound doesn't seem to be working on latest version?
2. Dynamic lighting is badly needed back. It runs ok on previous versions so no doubt you can enable it again.
3. Avatar bots in 2.50 version look best as they are darker and blend into the theatre better. Current bots are too bright and stand out.
4. Offline mode be nice to be able to still watch local videos offline.
Thank you developers. It's a pain I can't give this version 5 🌟 as I love this app, but I hope you can take these changes into consideration and can get some time to work on the app again as it hasn't had any updates in awhile.
Low Sound and takes many tries to start. YOU GET ONE STAR,,, JUST ONE !!!. First of all it took many attempts after signing in to get the app to work, as it just kept crashing and putting me back in the Oculus Quest Menu. Second, after getting it to work... am now find you still have not bothered to fix the Low Sound issue. The sound is too quiet on movie playback, too quiet... TURN IT UP !!!!, Turn up the sound please. I have the app on full VOLUME, and still i cannot hear some of what is being said properly in the film, that i just turn off the film and app and use SKYBOX VR instead, as Skybox Vr has good proper decent loud volume, unlike yours that is of low quality... TURN IT UP !!!!!. Third, still no LAN, DLNA,,, we still cannot stream movies from our Pc via WiFi. C'mon guys, all the other apps have LAN, yes they do... So why not yours ??? Also you still have not fixed the lighting effects, there frozen still. Its like you guy just do not care at all about this app, have given up trying, abandoned this app... But again, after getting the app to work after many tries, after i turned it off and went to turn it back on, it now will not come back on at all, the app will not start... ONE STAR ? at the moment you deserve ZERO STARS !!!

Not good. Needs a lot of work. Basically a worthless app
Dont bother doesnt work. If i could i would give you 0 stars. Literally you can do nothing with this app. Files wont play from internal memory and smb shares never show up. To make things worse support dont reply to emails. Save yourself the time and dont bother even trying

Doesn't work. I can't create an account. It's really bad
Good. Im using this app from a long time through side quest. However, this time i downloaded from the app store and it cant find any video stored in the headset. I then uninstalled and sideloaded through sidequest and it founded videos in my headset so there seems to be a bug with the app in the applab. Also it crashes if i have set the texture to 2048p. Sometimes it doesn't play videos..
Can't Purchase Theaters. Trying to obtain other theaters and I am unable to purchase credits (or popcorn) . Is it still possible? Looks like the app is still being updated.
