Fit Immersion transforms your cardio sessions in an immersive and interactive experience. Our goal is to simulate an outdoor ride from your stationary bike. You can discover touristic and cyclist tracks mostly filmed in 360° in different countries or made in 3D. To make it more realistic the app synchronizes movement speed with pedaling frequency and even difficulty if you have a compatible smart trainer. Tested some tracks and convinced? Then grab some credits and download tracks of your choice. The app communicates with smart trainers and pedals, cadence and heart rate sensors via Bluetooth.

Downfall is bad resolution of 360 video. Although I do find it makes my stationary bike sessions more interesting, its flaws mean I probably won’t be using it for long:
* 360 VR video in general is blurry compared to 180 and this is no exception. They should have offered some sharper-resolution 180 videos.
* Despite the bad resolution, the track sizes are huge due to length (over 12 GB). Maybe a trade off has to be made between resolution and size, but again I wouldn’t mind as much if it were sharp 180 video.
* It’s too confusing figuring out how to redeem earned credits. After finishing a 30-minute ride, it says I earned 5 credits and I can choose an option to send me an email to redeem them (never arrived in inbox or spam). I’d have to do 20 rides to unlock one course, but I don’t see anywhere either in my account on their site or the app where credits are accumulating.
* HUD graphics can be difficult to view due to being too near the edge of the screen. The UI just seems kind of amateurish in general.
For now I’ll probably just use the app occasionally, riding my only unlocked course Budapest over and over. I can sort of tolerate the blurriness in short sessions by not looking around too much, but I know my wife would get motion sick from the accentuated choppy/blurry affect that happens when the cyclist makes turns.
Good concept, not great execution on the Quest platform.
* Actually buying a course is too expensive, so I wouldn’t, as I’m not getting much value compared to just using VR biking videos on YouTube.
Pretty good, has potential to be great. First off, I don't have the sensors or a smart bike, so I can't speak to that aspect of this app. All I have is a stationary bike. But I really appreciate how the app will just play a fully 360 degree video of a location as I pedal, moving me along at a smooth pace. It does help me feel immersed in the environment, which is far more enjoyable than staring at my wall, or just watching a TV show or something. So kudos to Fit Immersion for that. The video resolution isn't the best, so, while it does feel like I'm there, it also feels like I need glasses or something. A crisp, clean video would be awesome.
The price for credits seems a little steep. One course (without sound) is 90 credits, which costs just shy of $10USD. There are several courses available, but if you want variety, it's going to cost quite a bit. I'm not likely to buy very many, if any, more courses at that price.
Finally, the menu in the app is clunky and doesn't have any kind of login option. So you create an account on the Fit Immersion website and buy credits from there, but then there's no login feature in the app to get to your credits. I had to contact customer service via chat on their website to have them add the credits to my app. So that whole process could use some work, as well as the website itself, which doesn't have any links at all to the page where you buy credits. I could only get there by having the app send me an email with a link to it.
Overall, I think this is a good app for adding some environment and enjoyment to your at-home ride.
Horrible, Glitchy, and Outdated. This app sucks. It's sad because it seems like it has great potential. Despite reading previous reviews that mentioned the horrible video quality, I stupidly purchased one of the video tracks and was actually able to see the quality for myself. Trust the reviews, the quality is awful. It looks like it was shot with one of the first iPhones. The app is also super glitchy. It was able to find my cadence tracker through bluetooth, but when I tried to connect it, it did once, and never again. I kept getting rerouted to the previous screen. Don't waste your time with this app.
Sad but true. Was looking forward to use this app, but i got dissaponited when i couldn't get it working. It finds my cad sensor and i can only download the demo which doesn't work. Tried to buy credits to download another map which also doesn't work. I get to the page were it requires my details then it is stop. As the detail page is all in french which i don't understand it seems to complicated to get any use for the app.
Seemed promising but wasn’t. Couldn’t find my cadence sensor, couldn’t enter my email to buy credits, demo was inoperative. Complete dud. I know it’s in app lab but come on! I’ll change my rating if the developers get their act together.

5 starts but with problems. I give 5 starts because for the moment is free, but i have some problems, that if dissapears, maybe I will pay for a complete app. First, I cant fix the HUD, all the data is on the edge and I cant see the data clear and doesnt exist an option to move it. Second, I've download the "Under the bridge" circuit and after 8 seconds, the track hangs or freeze. If you close and open it again, start to works but no data (speed, distance,...) I hope they fix it in a future upgrade. I cant do home bike without it :)
The application I've been waiting for. Finally the application I've been waiting for. Immersive videos done right, I can take a ride on my exercise bike visiting fantastic places. It immediately detected my cadence sensor without any problems. Small changes to be made but I have high expectations. Recommended for VR lovers . Thank you guys.
Decent app for exercise bikes. I like this app, the only real downside is the size of the downloaded maps. I got the cadence enabled version which found my sensor straight away. The movement is very smooth, much better than the subscription cycling app I tried with the added bonus you don't drop through the road or ride through walls :). The UI and hud needs a little work, the stats move just out of sight for me, and better video quality would be great but I dread to think what that would do to the route filesizes.
Looks good. This app looks promising. There is no subscription. You buy the maps as you go. I haven't tried the unlock version so I haven't been able to pair it with my cadence sensor. But they tell me with the 37 update and the new app version will work with Oculus 2.
