　1. 冷水、常温水、温水を用意し‏、‎温度計で湯温を測る 2. メスシリンダーに色比較用の塩素水を200ml用意する 3. メスシリンダーに食紅をスプーン1杯加える 4. 冷水、常温水、温水を各200ml加える。
　ガラス棒でかき混ぜて食紅を溶かす 5. 着色料が溶けると、水の色が緑色に変わる。
　6. 冷水、常温水、温水にそれぞれ1錠ずつ塩素消毒用発泡スチロールを入れ、変化を観察する。
　結果塩素消毒タブレットが溶けて消える順番温水 → 普通水 → 冷水温水で塩素系殺菌発泡錠が急速に消失する理由→ 温度が高くなると反応速度が速くなる。
