Love it. This game has a lot of potential. You can play 4 different instruments on different songs with different difficulties. Free songs changing regularly, so it’s never getting boring. There are some tracking issues, but I’ll bet they get rid of them. I love to rock with friends and foes and can’t await to play with my steam buddies.
Fantastic looking up and comer. As someone who easily spent thousands of hours on games like guitar hero and rock band, I can see a fantastic series idea when I see it. The game is clearly still early in production, but what exists is amazing. I always said that playing instruments in VR would never feel right, but this game has proven me wrong.
So long as this developer capitalizes on this before a big AAA company can start messing with it I think that there's a very significant chance that this will be the next big instrument rhythm game, mark my words.
Having a Lot of Fun. Tbh, I'm having a really hard time figuring out exactly how to use my controllers to play guitar, bass, and piano. I do great at the drums. But considering I've seen people in multiplayer do very well on those instruments, I'm certain it is user error. There are limited songs, but it's still in development, so that's fine. My friends and I have wanted to play Rockband or Guitar Hero for ages and I think this is a really good substitute for a fraction of the price if you already have a VR set. It's free right now. I'd highly suggest trying it. And if you find it hard to play, just adjust the instrument and try new ways to strum/hit until you find one that works for you. I'm slowly finding my sweet spot. Almost got it for piano. Drums are a lot of work though, even though I had the easiest time setting that up. If anything is a problem, I'd say re-centering. It doesn't exactly do it well. Also, if you want to sit to play (only would suggest trying that on drums and piano), remember to calibrate your height. Also, it gives you a cute little tiny avatar, although it makes you feel like a bobble head.
