Big time family fun! Hello all! This review comes to you from the perspective of a senior citizen. I find this game to be quite fun as many of the games are ones that I grew up with and played with family and friends. Over half of these games are derived from games you already know. One card=Uno, Yacht dice=Yahtzee and more. The many games consist of Board games, Dice games, Dominos, Chess and Checkers. Some arcade is thrown in for the younger ones, like whack a mole. This game is a value to me as you can find similar games like these sold separately for about the same price as this one is as a whole collection. It's got something for the whole family. I feel like a kid again when I play with family and friends. I got copies for my grown kids and now for a couple of hours, a few times a week it doesn't feel like they live so far away anymore. 💕 This gets it to the top of my list of most used games for that reason. If you need a playing partner, no problem as it has well playing AI partners. I tried to find a way to invite someone to the game, but the developer took care of that. Your extra players are automatically connected when they choose the same game as you. What we did to make that process easier was to invite your party to your Meta "suite" so you could speak to each other first. Then all of you open the game and make your game selection from the menu. There you go! You automatically appear in the same games. I'd like to suggest a room code to make things easier for the first time players. Sorry for the long review but this game has inspired me. Go get it it's a big thumbs up for me 👍
Great social games! Hi, I purchased this game in the hope it will give me a relaxing, fun, social experience with friends.. when we just want to chill. I was very impressed! Graphics are nice and clean, controls great, sounds nice and relaxing and suitable, environments very nice too. There’s 13 games… they vary from 1-4 players. Dice games, archery game, whack a mole, othello, rummy, ect…
There’s a global score board, and avatar creator too.
This is still in development, but we didn’t encounter any bugs or glitches at all.
The developer mentions that they will be adding licensed games to the collection in the future.
A very well done and put together game. Highly recommended!
The Best VR Board Game for a Fun. Table Party is a virtual reality board game that allows you to play with friends and family from all over the world. With a wide variety of games to choose from, you're sure to find something that everyone will enjoy.
The UI in Table Party are some of the best I've ever seen in a VR game. The boards are neatly rendered, and the pieces are lifelike. The sound effects are also good, and really help to immerse you in the game.
The gameplay in Table Party is smooth and easy to learn. Even if you're new to VR, you'll be up and running in no time. The controls are intuitive, and the game is well-balanced.
Overall, Table Party is an excellent VR board game. It's fun, easy to learn, and has a wide variety of games to choose from. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves board games or VR.
Here are some of the things I love about Table Party:
The gameplay is smooth and easy to learn.
The game has a wide variety of games to choose from.
It's a great way to connect with friends and family from all over the world.
If you're looking for a fun and immersive VR board game, I highly recommend Table Party. It's sure to provide hours of entertainment for you and your friends.
Want a refund! I would give zero stars!!! Gifted this app from family. I have tried to load it for a week solid and it will not load. The refund instructions are ambiguous so you can’t request a straight refund. This whole experience is trash.
Still awkward to play. A problem carried over from dive VR that has never seemed to be a problem in any other game is the inability to sit straight at the table. No matter how you teleport or turn, you are always just off kilter. It's technically a minor failure, but shows a way of designing that never quite works.
There are games that are locked with no explanation, as to whether they are unfinished, or for later purchase, and the tutorial is phenomenally awkward. Every time you try to follow instructions, you either have to wait for the cutesy instructor to finish, or it interrupts you while trying to follow instructions.
Enjoyable Fun with Friends. I had a fantastic time playing this game with my friends. It provided a delightful and stress-free experience.
Among the various games available, I found the yacht dice, whack-a-mole, and arrow shooting games to be particularly enjoyable. I was also fascinated by the inclusion of the traditional Korean game, 'Yutnori.'
There are a couple of areas that could be improved:
1. Adjusting my position can be a bit challenging as it requires precise control manipulation. (I had to physically turn around since the controller didn't allow for directional rotation.)
2. It would be great to have the option to skip the tutorial or start directly from the menu.
Overall, this VR game is perfect for casual and enjoyable play. It provided us with a satisfying time, and I highly recommend it to others.
