Strategic VR Sword Combat! Blade Impact is an impressive sword and fencing experience that captures the thrill of precision dueling. Two opponents face off on a platform, with the goal of pushing your rival off by striking key target zones—torso or head—or by executing a perfectly timed block with the exact part of your blade. The mechanics are highly accurate, creating multiple strategic paths to victory across six battles. Every well-placed hit and flawless block delivers real satisfaction. The game’s potential is huge, with room to expand into other sword sports and refine hit detection even further.Currently in early access, Blade Impact already offers rock-solid execution and addictive gameplay. Multiplayer seems like a natural next step—imagine endless duels with friends in this razor-sharp arena.
Exactly what it should be. Everything is present, but it's rough around the edges. Early Access.Concept is perfect. This is exactly what I'm looking for. I get bored with other sword games because there's no battle. I get a battle in this game. My current problem (let me know if I'm just missing something) is that I don't feel like I'm fighting an equal, I'm fighting an enemy, who has different allowed actions. I can't shoot first, and I automatically get the blocking penalty. It only felt fair at "Unbeatable" level. Style is defined, but not all menus are finished. I'm curious to see the final design. It's also missing a detailed tutorial, some additional settings, and again, polish. It's continued development, and I'm happy to be along for the ride.
FUTURE VR HIT?. Blade Impact offers fast-paced and challenging action: face off against six AI opponents on suspended platforms, where every blow counts. The controls are precise, the gestures fluid, and the minimalist staging showcases your personal style. No smoke and mirrors, a minimalist but effective menu: just you, your blade, and adrenaline. At €9, it's a good choice for fans of no-frills VR duels. This title is in very early access but already has the makings of a future VR hit.Technically successful, there's still work to be done, such as fleshing out the gameplay, adding content, multiplayer, and additional game modes, but the main thing is there, and we're having fun, not to mention struggling to beat our opponents!A title to watch out for!My video review in french: https://youtu.be/2p_o_syoWvA
