BOULE PETANQUE is a VR sports game that makes you play boules or pétanque or boccia. Petanque is a target sport that is played with steel boules and a jack (target ball). Get the boules as close as you can to the jack to score points. When you get to 13 points, you win. No matter what the weather is like, the sun always shines on the square in the game. In the relaxed atmosphere of a square that could be like this in the south of France, you can throw the jack and the balls. In single player mode you learn how to do it, in multi-player mode (1 vs. 1, 2 vs. 2, 3 vs. 3) you can compete against other players. These can be friends or random players all over the world. Special is certainly the sound of the game: the cicadas buzz, the bullets bang and immediately you are in another world.

Relaxing game that takes me back in time. This game is beautifully done and takes me back to my childhood, playing boule with my grandfather in his garden :) No bugs so far, just one typo I reported via the ingame feedback form. I found the graphics a bit blurry but Quest Game Optimizer took care of that. It's impressively crisp and stunning now, but if I intend to play for a longer period of time, I might go back to default settings to make the battery last longer.
Very nice! Quite a fun little game, would love to see more environments, a lobby system for easier multiplayer access and some different songs to make everything a little more lively. The translations (particularly, spanish ones) need a little work too. Besides that, I didn't expect to enjoy a game like this so much! My friends and I took turns against the bot and we all had a blast 😊
Challenging Game. This game is pretty much like Bocce Ball, but it emphasizes lobbing the ball more versus rolling to get close to the object ball. The game concept is simple by nature, but challenging to master. It would be great if the multiplayer options were easier to get someone else to play online. Other environments and the use of a Meta avatar would be cool as well.

Just kidding, almost perfect game. Activating the music player seems a little shaky and one thing badly missing is 1v1 Multiplayer or a possibility in general to compete against other "human" players without being in a VR bubble. Otherwise - great.
Nearly perfect. It‘s the best petanque simulation (I know 2), I ever played. As I am a petanque coach, first I was frustrated not to win. Then I started with the easiest level - and won. Then I tried the second level - and won again. On level 3 I am still working on my first victory.🙁 - I missed some noises, too. - it‘s hard to throw the jack. It is too „light“/quick! - quite often I lost a ball, which fell down - why?
How could I play with others? This I couldn’t manage up to now.

Very relaxing and fun. I bought this to try out and play against my wife but the private multiplayer wasn't ready yet, so I played by myself. I had NO idea of how to play and there were no instructions to learn how. I kinda figured it out a little after "Rusty" beat me ten rounds in a row.
I would add instructions as well as maybe people sitting around the area enjoying the day. Some could even cheer you on.
Add elderly gentleman playing chess off in the distance and children playing a game.

My wife and I figured out how to play one another and WE LOVE IT!
UPDATE: SEVEN MONTHS LATER:
In seven months all you have done to work on this is to add teleporting which is fine, but you still have BIGGER things to fix before Oculus will ever put this in their store.
1) You can not turn in the game. You have to physically move in your real home in order to turn in the game. You should be able to turn by pressing the toggle switch as most games have.
2) When you are finished playing the game and want to play a different game, there should be an End game button that takes you back to your menu page. Now you have to press the Oculus button to get out.
3) The outside walls that go from end to end to create the large box the game is played in should be solid wood-looking walls like in the real world. The smaller square Could still be the kind that appears until you throw the red ball and then disappear when done.
4) It needs background sounds. Birds tweeting, dogs barking, children playing, etc. It's just too quiet while you play. A few people watching and cheering you on would be great!
5) Instead of or in addition to teleporting, it would be nice to have "sliding" so it feels more like you are there walking from spot to spot.
6) I do not know if this could also be a "team" game. Maybe 2 players to a team?
I was forced to lower my score from 4 to a three because it's been 7 months with no real upgrades. Sorry.
Where have the sound effects gone?. Fun game, but after a recent update some of the sound effects, like rusty shooting out his balls, have been removed...why?
Best VR boule game. I have played them all and this one is the best, by far. The game doesnt cost much, but it delivers much more. I am excited to see future updates and would pay much more for such a game. With the ”settings tool” you can make this almost real. I am so thankful for this game and will absolutely recommend it to both beginners and pros.
Excellent simulation. Very relaxing and realistically challenging when playing against the AI. Latest update introduces multiple settings for AI opponent’s skill level and birds that fly around to increase the illusion of presence. Hope the developer will enhance the graphical quality to be more sharp. Easy to establish games with friends or strangers.
Nice weight. Perfect for when stuck inside and the weather isn’t playing ball. Looking forward to trying some multiplayer, Rusty is a challenge but need humans
Really fun and simple. Looking for regular matches? Add me to your friend list. The most recent update has corrected Rusty and made the Bot a worthy competitor. Love the other improvements to the multiplayer selections as well, making it easier to find players. Back to a 5 star game.
It's not unnecessarily complicated. You get into the game and you play...done. I love that the graphics aren't the usual Unity out of the box garbage...the creator really wanted this to be immersive and feel real. I would love to see a few more environments and an option to add more opponents, balls, and maybe even team vs team. This deserves 5 stars, it is what it says it is and isn't trying to fool you - the throw also feels right on.
Finally made Rusty more of a challenge. I no longer can beat Rusty 13-0 in 5 rounds. Rusty actual now seems to be able to have some good throws. I still would love to see other bots and locations. This is a fun game that has great potential for the main store if key features were added.

Updated update- rusty is still too easy, I can easily win in a few rounds 13-0. Rusty will leave so much room making it too easy to score 3 points in a round. I don’t know what happened, but it is no longer fun because there is no challenge… I would pay for more bots and locations. The gameplay is good.

Since multiplayer is not an option for me (never found a match), rusty use to be able to have a few nice shots once in awhile- now he is not even close. I got my $5 worth, but was hoping for more- give us a harder bot.

The bocce ball game that was part of Sports Champions for ps3 move was much better than this. I only played the bot a few times (easy wins), but this game feels off. I was not able to play the multiplayer mode- couldn’t find an available game. Not upset about taking a chance on a $5 game, but I would love to see more AI opponents (tournament) for the single player. Is there a way to add spin to the ball? I know this isn’t bocce, but I would like to have 4 tries instead of the 3 balls you get per round with this game. Will add more stars with more options…

La vie en rose. I bought this game because it’s January and I’m in northern(ish) Europe and it’s cold and dreary. What I need is sunshine and wine and cheese and the scent of lavender in the air. I.e. what I need is summer in the Provence. This game will provide a little bit of that. BYO snacks and light a scented candle :) A bientôt sur la place!
