Archereally Fun. This game is a lot of fun! It has great potential. I spent the $4.99 for the first pack and that bow has been great for me! The next pack feels a bit steep ($19.99) though for where the game is at currently. I'd pay $9.99.
It gets stale quickly. Ive ingeracted with 2 other players only (who used mics). I have around 1600 trophies for online. 19 out of 20 matching is against a fresh 1000 trophy player. And i've left all but one of those with high 900's. I only gain about 17 trophies against them. Lost 38 in sudden death. The tournaments i do for competitiveness. The solo play is getting stale in France 2. The intro features a pro competition archer but there werent any tutorials for new event types. Not hard to figure out, but no pro tips. Cosmetics feel overpriced. Using Meta avatars would have been much better. Online play is a simple best of 3, 2 shot set shootout.
pro tip: for extra fun, shoot your opponent's target 😉 I igot a "what the..!?" out of it.
It's early access, and it feels it. More online content is needed. Most better players havent moved on the leaderboard, meaning they arent playing. A big update would bring people back, with the right content. I have quite a few ideas, but lets see what these devs do.
Quite a lot of annoying bugs. Aha, it's early access, that is probably why.
Bug: I have put the music volume to 0% but every time I reopen the game it is back to 100%
Also if I tap the quest 3 to enable pass-through mode and then go back it restarts the game.
Level reload times are far too long. Long-press Y or something to instantly reset level would be very useful, so we can try to get perfect scores easier.
Paris Level 8 is bugged I think - the third arrow always seems to bug out and explode for no good reason and gives no score.
Tokyo Level 18 - first one with wind - but there is no flag to show the direction or strength of wind - it’s very dumb - are we just supposed to guess?.. Later levels have flags, did they just forget to put them in this level?..
Paris Level 32 - Left balloon doesn’t even line up with target. I don't have the space to move to the left to get it to line up. Should be able to play the game standing or sitting in one spot.
Paris 2 Level 35 - same bug as Paris 1-8 - last arrow explodes as if hitting outer ring when it should not.
2025.07.29. Some more bugs: - Can hear people's microphones even when chat and voice sliders are at 0%. - Online matches were crashing a lot yesterday - Should make it so people never spawn on top of another person; it's not pleasant, it's like having someone really badly invade your personal space lol.
