Keep coming back for more! Even though I've been playing Cabin which is amazing.. I still keep coming back to this fantastic game. Hard to get sick of it. Anyone who owns a VR headset NEEDS to own this game. No need to explain how good it is... you just need to play it to fund out.
Mobile VR FPS classic, stellar support. I have owned this game since its earliest iteration on Gear VR in 2015, the OG Oculus/Meta mobile headset. Even without hand controllers or even positional head tracking, Drop Dead has captured what was fun about arcade shooters in VR. You're really immersed in this stylized world, charming characters, and simple but addicting shooting controls. I'm a scaredy cat and VR multiplies any horror elements, but this zombie game really let me enjoy myself by avoiding jumpscares and clearly highlighting off screen enemies through smart color warnings and great spatial audio.
Fast forward almost a decade, and the latest version of Drop Dead is fully optimized for the most powerful mobile VR device. It continues to be a showcase of the platform's strength, with crystal clear visuals, dense environment details, and the sort of hand controllers that is now a staple of many VR shooters. And all the while, the essence of the experience was retained to stellar effect.
Brilliant game. This is a great game. It's a bit like The House of the Dead on the dreamcast. Simple to play. I love these kind of games. The only thing i would have liked to see in the game is being able to choose what gun you start with and gun upgrades. But that being said i still love it. Brilliant shooter game.

The game is amazing i love it, very accurate controls, 3 storylines, very challenging not too easy not too hard. 36 levels in story mode, 30 waves to beat in multiplayer horde survival mode online. Amazing weapons. You can share some laughs online with friends being silly too. Definitely a MUST BUY!!!! Worth every penny. Tons of hours of replay value for months to years i think ill keep playing it often.
Never Gets Old. This was one of the first games I'd purchased for my quest 2 a couple of years ago. I find myself coming back to it, time and time again. There is something about having increasingly difficult waves of zombies coming at me that I really enjoy. Not having to move, just maintaining situational awareness and shooting. The story mode is a great introduction, as it starts you off easy, and then ramps up the difficulty. Survival mode is awesome, with or without multiplayer. Wave after wave of Zombies and Monsters, increases the difficulty with each wave. I haven't made it to the final wave yet. To be honest, I'm not sure it exists. Haha.
This game is pure fun, and as much as I love The Cabin, I really enjoy the simplicity of this one.
Simple in the best sense of the term. I love this game. I also bought it for my 72 y/o father and we play it together often. There are very few vr games that he's able to really get into and enjoy, but this one is right at the top of that list.
The game mechanics are so simple in the best sense of the term. Anyone can get into this and figure it out. It's perfect for introducing people to the quest 2.
No walking around, no learning how to open doors, no ultra-realistic gun reloading mechanics. You just stand there and shoot at the hordes of zombies coming at you, then drop your gun to your hip to reload.
We really get a kick out of this one and play it almost every time we put on our headsets. Our only complaint is that there are very few levels in multiplayer. We'd love to have a little more variety there in an update.
It's a must have! I really love this game. I don't play horror or evil games because of my faith but a friend bought me this game and I tried it. I got hooked on it. I love the timeline where I can move about and not have the character stand idle. It's like I'm really in the cemetery lol. The updates game with the new graphics are amaZING! I noticed it's more challenging. I do wish I could obtain more weapons. By the time I get to wave 25 I just have an eight shooter pistol and gigantic Pete with those scary drilling arms are after me. When I see that guy....I just go play on my timeline because I can't kill him and the other zombies with one pistol. It would be nice to save the guns we do obtain on our belts like we xan with the bombs and energy juice. How can I get more guns lol? I love this game regardless because I just try my game play in different ways every time I play. Thanks for a great game!!
